POSTGAME: Merrill Kelly Gets SHELLED By Rockies as D-backs Suffer EMBARRASSING Series Loss

From PHNX Arizona Diamondbacks Podcast ALLCITY Network, PHNX Sports

Merrill Kelly entered Wednesday’s series finale with a 9-0 record and a 1.83 ERA over his last 14 starts against the Colorado Rockies, but the Mainstay got absolutely shelled as Arizona suffered its first home series loss to its NL West rival since July 2022. We break down Kelly’s disastrous outing, an offense that left 15 runners on base, and the D-backs managing just one run across three bases-loaded opportunities. On the bright side, Corbin Carroll launched the 100th home run of his career. We also play another round of the Blame Game, examine what this loss means for the NL Wild Card race, and check in on the latest rehab starts for Jordan Lawlar and Justin Martinez.
