POSTGAME: Eduardo Rodriguez Gets ROCKED & D-backs Stars Go SILENT in Ugly Loss to Padres

The Arizona Diamondbacks usually feel like they have a great chance to win whenever Eduardo Rodriguez takes the mound, but that wasn't the case against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday. E-Rod got rocked early, the D-backs' offense never found an answer, and Arizona dropped another frustrating game to San Diego. We break down what went wrong for Rodriguez, why the top of the lineup disappeared yet again, and how late home runs from Nolan Arenado and James McCann weren't enough to spark a comeback. We also discuss Lars Nootbaar officially joining the Diamondbacks, Torey Lovullo's encouraging injury update on Michael Soroka, and why the New York Mets managed to make life even harder for Arizona at the trade deadline. Plus, with Jorge Soler designated for assignment by the Los Angeles Angels, we take a look at his Baseball Savant profile and debate whether there's any reason the D-backs should even consider bringing him to the desert.
