POSTGAME: Brandon Pfaadt & D-backs SHUT OUT Braves But Will Ketel Marte Exit Overshadow The Win?

Brandon Pfaadt was magnificent for the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday, tossing 7 scoreless innings against the Atlanta Braves to lead the Snakes to a 2-0 series-opening win. But the victory came with a potentially costly price, as Ketel Marte exited the game early with left knee soreness. We break down Pfaadt’s dominant outing, Tim Tawa’s 7th home run of the season, and another shutdown performance from the D-backs bullpen. Plus, we take a closer look at Pfaadt joining an exclusive club of pitchers with his latest gem and Arizona’s recent dominance over Atlanta. And with the newest MLB Top Prospect rankings dropping, we’ll check in on where some of the D-backs’ top young stars landed and what their latest rankings mean for the future of the Snakes.
