D-backs Make MAJOR Broadcast Change as Steve Berthiaume Departs After 14 Seasons

A major change for the Arizona Diamondbacks is happening as the team parts ways with longtime television play-by-play announcer Steve Berthiaume after 14 seasons. What’s next for the D-backs broadcast booth, and why did the organization decide it was time to make a change? Meanwhile, the MLB postseason rolls on, and we’re breaking down everything that happened in the ALDS, including the Rays taking a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Yankees and the White Sox doing the same against the Guardians. We are also discussing the fascinating attendance story around Major League Baseball: league-wide attendance is up, but D-backs attendance went the other direction. What does that say about the state of baseball in Arizona and the relationship between the team and its fan base? And finally, we’re taking a trip back to the Super Nintendo era after a genius on social media updated Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball with modern-day teams and rosters, including the D-backs. Because apparently the only thing missing from 2026 baseball was Corbin Carroll running around a 16-bit Chase Field.
