Travis was hunting interceptions 4:17 on defense and then gathering touchdowns on offense contributing from both sides of 4:23 the pitch. Huh? Jafar Jordan thought he had all the absolute power. After giving 4:29 the Texans a 10 point lead in the third quarter. I put out of the Jags, not at it up at 31. 4:35 Kai, sonat me fair man. Put the Texans up once and for all. Texans 34. Jaguars 31. 4:43 Thanks Hank. Henry, Henry. Down in Atlanta where the return of Caleb Williamson on 4:50 Slotabare's offense. As he found Colston, this land is your land. This land is love 4:56 land for an early score. They call him Spalob Williams because he looked like a vet out there 5:01 the way he was surgically handling the balls, going 24 for 24 in a clean pocket and slicing 5:08 and dicing Atlanta's secondary. As for the Falcons, Michael Flassen Penix looked bad 5:14 in the first half and didn't wake up until he saw a set of big pits throwing two titties 5:20 to his tight end Kyle. The big story in this game was the return of Kyler Joseph 5:25 of Gordon Levitt who made the Falcons his son as he rocked them with his third 5:29 sack of the day robbing any chance of Atlanta winning the game the Bears 31 5:34 Falcons 23 we go out to Cleveland the mistake by the lake as the Browns are 5:42 paying a visit to Monk and Donuts as it's been a Baker's dozen years since 5:47 the Browns were in first place this latest season but enough about 5:50 breakfast pastries. No one likes hearing Deshaun Watson turn over. Snoop Huntley, Huntley Hippos 5:57 gave Ravens fans another board game to watch as Declan Susan Doyle is coaching like he's never 6:03 scored in his life. Derek Henry Lockwood choked away another easy win on camera. This guy's 6:09 never won on camera folks. Mostly by taking a questionable drop and couldn't find the hole 6:15 to save his life. I've never, this guy's really good. Has never won on camera. Never won 6:22 The Browns recover the bubble as Uncle Jesse Minter sat in the corner and watched as Jerry 6:28 O'Connell, Judy absolutely cooked them, even with a fierce defense, Romain the Secondary. 6:35 Leading to second place of a Smith-Sewish Guard 2-3 on the day, but making it first 6:40 and last, all aboard the Anybody Smitty Committee, as Cleveland Browns are 4-2 and lead 6:46 The AFC North. 6:48 Huh? 6:49 Huh? 6:50 We have to learn to keep our camera. 6:51 Never want to keep our camera, boom. 6:53 Click on dot take. 6:54 Watch it one more time. 6:55 But now we had to fall to where Max was there 6:58 to see the Eagles take on the Panthers. 7:01 We had to the city of brotherly love, 7:03 where the fellow foul-fables are continuing to fable 7:07 to the point of no return. 7:09 Tanner McKegan and Michael Key is out there playing 7:12 with guys like Hengel McCringleberry 7:15 after the entire team is seemingly out it was a punch fest early until the Eagles 7:20 defense was saying I gotta leave you alone to Bryce young Jay-Z and his tight 7:25 end as he completed the easy touchdown to Tommy Trembl but Damian Pierce Brosnan 7:32 was able to leave the Panthers defense shaken not stirred that one was 7:36 really bad to fool the Eagles fans into thinking they were somehow in the 7:40 game from that point on it was mostly all Panthers in the second half they went 7:45 full-on Elon mode as Chubba Hovered was floating over the Eagles defense like 7:51 that stupid fucking car to the tune of 125 yards and a second half time 7:57 whatever Panthers 25 Eagle 14. Thanks Max we now go to Foxboro where Memes was 8:04 there. In Foxboro, AJ Today's Brown was getting gang banged by the Sun all day and couldn't 8:12 catch a cold. So Drake, ma ma ma ma ma, making Patriots fans happy, had to throw to DeMario, 8:18 Douglas and Romeo doobie doobie do for touchdowns. As I imagine we talk later on in the show 8:24 but the Jets control the game and Amarion Cooper was serving the Patriots' defense 8:28 all day. Hunter Henry Lockwood sealed the game on 3rd and 10th even though he 8:32 lies about his handicap on the golf course. Picture this, it was Coach Mike Frable, banging 8:41 on the bathroom floor. But she caught me in Sedona, wasn't me. TMZ in Arizona, wasn't 8:48 me. Left scratch marks on my shoulder, wasn't me. Leaked the info that I told her, wasn't 8:53 me. Patriots 26, Jets 19. 8:56 Thanks memes. We now head to Indianapolis where the windless Titan Titans took on the cults in a mere formality 9:03 Oh, but wait that is why they play the games cults fans were asking to be past the bottle as they belted out 9:10 Mr. Daniel Jones and me tell me a fairy tale that we may someday actually fire Chris Ballard as the quarterback 9:19 Continue to throw the game away and it looks like it will be another long December for the franchise in Indianapolis 9:25 Carnell Tateball was in his bag had some dangerous cuts and some highlights for 9:30 the Graham as he drug his team out of the windless column and it was Jeffrey 9:34 Ben Simmons and the Titans defense proving they are back wait wait I'm just 9:40 hearing word Ben Simmons has torn his Achilles no longer back this is our 9:45 Colts this is our team we bleed out and now we're dead Titans 26 Colts 20 9:52 Now we head down to Tampa where Zack is there in Tampa 9:57 Jalen dime Daniels back at it again with the touchdown pass to amica egg 10:02 Bazooka Zuka bubblegum Bazooka Zuka bubblegum who chews up spits out and sticks to Steelers defense underneath the pylon 10:10 For the first touchdown of the day many drives later 10:13 And you're in mr. Rogers neighborhood slips off his shoes and puts on his favorite sweater before asking would you be mine? 10:18 Could you be mine? 10:20 Would you be my receiver while politely passing to Darno Washington Wizards, who uses his 10:24 young cord to twist and turn through defenders, scoring nine points rather than settling for 10:28 the tray. 10:29 In overtime, Aaron Kenny Rogers, maybe 42 years old with a flock camera fetish, but he sure 10:34 knows how to hold him, knows when to fold him, knows when to step up in the pocket, 10:40 and knows when to pass. 10:41 As he connects to Jeremy St. Pernard, who goes off lease chasing his tail all 10:46 the way to the doghouse for six points. 10:47 in the end after countless blown plate claws no hurry-up offense and zero 10:52 creativity Zach Robinson tells the Bucks offense knock a lie I'm gonna take a 10:56 nap let me know bro let you know what what do you mean let me know what the 11:01 hell are do what am I letting you know about yeah bro well well I guess we'll 11:05 let you know wake you up later man Pittsburgh 26 to have a Bay 19 11:10 hey Zach we go to Arrowhead as Andy Reid offer by in the chiefs are hosting 11:15 the biggest disappointments in football. The Los Angeles Pooper Chargers. Kenneth Walker, 11:21 Texas Ranger, told the Chargers defense they have AIDS, probably because they never wrap up. 11:27 Mike McDaniel-Rackcliff has gone from being a famous boy wizard to just collecting checks 11:32 and saying yes to any old screenplay. Speaking of the Chiefs, the Chargers quarterback 11:37 must have been listening to all the old Kansas records singing I closed my eyes 11:45 only for a moment and the moment's gone all my teammates passed before my eyes 11:54 within curiosity just in the wind all we are is just in the wind 12:01 Herbert can feel another season slip slip slip it away like sand in an hour 12:06 last and must like their quarterback charges fans are comforting themselves with way too much beer 12:12 recently. Chiefs 42 their charges six in Las Vegas where Ashton Kutcher-Genti told the fans you 12:20 just got punked. I actually am good at football after scoring in the first half in a back and 12:25 fourth game. Josh Allen Iverson took his and one mixtape to Sin City throwing a perfect alley 12:31 To Keon Derek Coleman in the second half as the Bills and Joe Wayne Brady asked his Buffalo 12:36 good after choked a bitch as the Raiders tried to claw back into the game. 12:40 Clint Kubiak was nowhere to be found as the Raiders attempted their late comeback and 12:45 Squirt Cousins jammed one into Trace Smucker late to cut it to three but it wasn't enough 12:51 as no one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills. 12:57 Bill's 33. Raiders 30. Let me be the first to remind America, just make sure to change your clock, change your font. 13:09 This upcoming weekend, Saturday night. Big weekend, fall forward. Fall forward, like my good friend Derek Henry always says, fall forward, fall forward. 13:22 Standing on the corner, Jamie Swinson in Hope Oak in such a fine sight to see. 13:27 It's Tyler Schuck and the Giants suck with Scataboo not getting carries. 13:34 Come on 18, don't keep us waiting. 13:42 Why James's receivers all start fainting. 13:48 Saints go marching, 34, 27 and that is fastest two minutes of week six. 13:56 football season is here and we're brought to you by Chevy and it's here and 14:01 whether you're grinding through the week or gearing up for kickoff there's one 14:04 ride that's always game ready it's the Chevy Silverado there's a reason Chevy's 14:08 called the heartbeat of America and Silverado keeps that heartbeat strong 14:11 whether you're towing hauling or tailgating Silverado lets you show up 14:15 strong and tackle any task with best in class standard torque the most 14:19 functional bed and the advanced tech that's football guy approved check out 14:23 the current offers on the 2026 Silverado at Chevy.com. 14:28 OK, week six in the books. 14:30 We had a crazy week six. 14:32 Some. Wild results. 14:36 The Titans won a game. 14:38 The Cardinals beat the Rams. 14:40 The Browns might be the best team in football. 14:41 Browns might be the best team in football. 14:43 The mighty, mighty AFC North. 14:46 Yeah. And the Texans are, I think, all the way back. 14:50 And now it's trouble for the Jaguars. 14:52 So let's start with that game. 14:54 We had Texans 34 Jaguars 31, a fun London game. 14:58 Very fun. I have to say, 15:00 I still wish this game was on during regular hours, 15:03 but it was a fun game and it was somehow. 15:06 If you said to me going into this game, Texans Jaguars, 15:09 there would be zero sacks and 65 points scored. 15:13 I'd be like, no fucking way. 15:15 And that's what happened. Hmm. Hmm. 15:17 That's interesting to me. 15:18 What's interesting to me is the NFL has pissed in all of our faces 15:21 for the last, like, 10 years by putting these games over in England, they might start to 15:26 be catch on that the one way that they can make us not hate them so much is if it's just 15:30 points, points, points, points, points. Because if you're betting on the games, more people will 15:35 bet the over. If you're betting on props, people to score, et cetera, et cetera. So 15:40 what's to stop the NFL from playing games on a very slick surface where the defense has no 15:44 footing and can't adjust to what the offense is doing? I think that that's pretty interesting. 15:49 The the the surface was an issue today. Yeah, it was definitely favored the offense big time 15:53 It was actually anti-referee. It was a very anti-referee surface. We saw early on. I think it was the umpire 15:59 He went down and I just want to say like first of all thoughts and prayers were thinking about him 16:04 Mm-hmm. He tipped his hat on his way out, which I think that means that he's doing okay 16:08 He's in his fellow ref took a knee and fellow ref took a knee right next to him 16:13 And then they're beautiful honoring the crowd on his way out on the cart was a very touching moment 16:18 Not a dry eye in the house. Yeah, but on on the field awesome game really fun game 16:22 I still think that the there is an issue for the Texans 16:26 I don't think they're all the way back yet. Yeah, because the defense is still they're giving up 30 points a game a lot 16:31 Yeah, I mean the Jaguars offense is very good 16:33 But yes, that was that was definitely concerned, but CJ Stroud is good. Yeah, CJ Stroud is good again 16:37 And it's not just his numbers were good because he had three touchdowns and threw for over 300 yards 16:42 He looks like CJ Stroud 16:45 for a rookie year where he's comfortable in the pocket 16:48 and he's scanning the field and he's hitting guys, 16:51 you know, with like a perfectly thrown ball 16:54 and Jalen Noel was awesome. 16:57 And I mean, we already know that Nico Collins is awesome. 17:01 Marvin Harrison saw him. 17:03 He actually had three first downs, 17:04 three catches, three first downs. 17:06 So I think that's the part like you, 17:08 you hope that the Texans defense will figure it out. 17:11 But CJ Straub, which was the big problem last year, 17:14 He does look just from eye test looks like he's gotten his like mojo back 17:20 He looks more confident and especially after he threw a pick. Yeah, so he threw a pick and then and then came back 17:24 He told you see told to make on the signs. Hey, man. I got you. Don't worry about me 17:28 Well, we we don't know if he threw that pick or not because I've never seen a cameraman get get deaked out 17:32 And jump for ballfakes more than what happened on Sunday morning 17:36 It was it like multiple plays 17:39 He would just be zooming into the wrong side of the field just biting on everything dirty eyes 17:44 is what we call it dirty. I like they were taking the candy. Yeah. And I noticed because 17:48 when the commanders played over there against the Colts, it was kind of the same deal. It 17:52 was crazy about the camera crew that they use over in England. They bite on play action 17:56 they got eyes on the back. You need to you need to understand your assignment on that 17:59 and don't get distracted by the eye candy and try to make a splash play and zoom in 18:03 on the receiver. But we just didn't see that on the first on the first time we 18:06 just did not see the interception because he just bit so hard. We didn't. Yeah. 18:10 They're soccer cameraman. Yeah, but to me go. Yeah, you're right 18:13 I mean in CJ Stroud having the confidence and I 18:16 Like it was it was a weird game in the fact the Jaguars deep like so the Jaguars offense 18:21 We know is good Liam Cohen's a really good coach 18:23 And so I I'm a little surprised that they were able to score 31 on the on the Texans 18:28 Defense, but it's actually works both ways because the Jaguars defense has been really good and they got carved up 18:35 That was the first time a team scored over 20 or more 18:38 for, uh, since week 10 last year, which was also against the Texans. 18:43 Yeah. So the Jaguars have been holding every single opponent to 20 or less and CJ Stroud 18:47 just dice them up. And it was kind of the same thing. Like the Jaguars, they're not 18:52 a bad team. This does make it so that the AFC South feels like because that was the 18:57 Jaguars home game against the Texas. The Texans now get the Jaguars at home. 19:01 And the Texans also have Giants, Chargers, Browns, Colts coming up. So like this 19:05 could. This game was a big swing in that if the Jaguars won it, you could almost say they're 19:11 going to win the AFC South with the Texans winning it. It's like game on. But more than 19:16 anything, like this game, it's just that when the Jaguars lose, they're just penalized, 19:22 costly penalties, bad miscues in the red zone. I feel like we watch the Jaguars for 19:27 take a take a two week trip to London where they just sucked in the red zone. The interception 19:31 and Trevor Lawrence said, yeah. 19:34 They're coaching staffs awesome. 19:35 The offense is humming, it looks great. 19:38 Their kicker is one of the best to ever do it. 19:40 He's insane. 19:41 The 60 yard field goal that he made 19:43 at the end of the game, 19:44 where it had the height on it 19:46 that you see on an extra point. 19:47 It was nuts. 19:48 Like if he tried to kick that 19:50 the way that you see a lot of kickers attempt 60 yards, 19:52 it's more of like a line drive, 19:54 I think you could probably make it from like 80 yards. 19:56 Yeah. 19:56 The amount, the height that that thing had on it 19:58 was incredible. 19:59 And it kind of having a kicker that's that's that good from 60 yards might have made Liam Cohen 20:04 Maybe accidentally make the wrong decision in that circumstance. Yeah, because he had such confidence in his kicker to make it 20:11 He's like, okay 20:12 Well, then, you know, we'll make it and then we'll see what happens. We'll go out and play defense 20:15 Yeah, and that situation with that game flow 20:18 Probably would have been a better idea to go for it was it fourth and four? Yeah 20:22 Probably a better idea to go for it and try to score touchdown. It's it's like a very very small thing 20:27 But having a kicker that's that good it's healthy for a head coach to have like a little bit of distrust in their kicker 20:34 Yeah, to be like he's not as good as he thinks he there needs to be the the ecosystem of an NFL locker room has to have 20:40 Tension between the head coach and the kick at all times 20:43 Yeah, you can't you can't just be going in being like we have a weapon and we trust him no matter what 20:47 You got to be able to say under your breath like fucking kickers. Yeah, they blew us this game 20:52 But Kim little is he's the best kicker in football. He's tea. He's definitely taken that mental, right? 20:57 Yeah, he's he's better than bring on Arby's down. Yeah, Arby's down 21:00 One other thing about about the offense Liam Cohen, I think I mean this as a compliment 21:06 He is a very creative coach 21:07 He doesn't get enough credit sometimes for the little fuck shit that he likes to put in mm-hmm 21:12 Because it's not necessarily always as flashy as some of the fuck shit that other coaches put in but it's kind of like Ben 21:17 Johnson he in a way that I think sometimes he adds stuff to the game plan so that the real film nerds out there the real like 21:25 analytical next generation creative coaching guys will break it down be like oh my god this 21:30 guy is on a different level because he had I think it was on a touchdown the touchdown 21:35 jump past the Trevor through to the backup tight end. He had the offensive tackle split 21:42 out to the left running like a fake bubble screen. Yeah. Yeah. I saw that which looks 21:46 awesome and it makes me want to see them actually run the play to him. But I think 21:50 Liam Cohen is just putting that out there just so that people will be like this 21:53 This guy's in his bag right now. 21:54 I would say he probably isn't playing to the film crew on Twitter. 21:58 Not necessarily on Twitter. 21:59 I mean like just like the next generation in general. 22:02 He likes being known as a really smart guy. 22:04 Or he just wants to put a bunch of stuff on film so that you never know what his team 22:08 is going to do. 22:08 I would love to see it if he actually. 22:09 That feels like maybe. 22:10 If he actually ran it to that guy. 22:12 Yeah. 22:12 I would love to see that. 22:14 I also think we should place a bet poise. 22:17 I think Travis Hunter for Heisman because he almost flipped this game himself. 22:21 He had so he had 101 yards receiving and a touchdown 22:26 But he had a stretch in the fourth quarter where he went for catches for 40 yards on a singular drive 22:31 And then scored the touchdown and then the next drive 22:34 Had the interception in the in the end zone, which again we didn't see 22:39 He's special they find I think they finally did the right thing with him where they said hey 22:43 We're gonna focus on defense once you've mastered defense then we'll start using you on offense again 22:48 Instead of being like worry about both at the same time and when they when they bring him in on offense 22:53 The ball usually ends up going his way. Yeah, they find a way to get it to him 22:56 He was I mean he was awesome 22:57 He almost won this game in that fourth quarter sequence where it was back to back 23:01 He scored a touchdown got a pick in the other end zone. Mm-hmm. It's I mean we should probably bet him husband 23:07 Hank, did you watch this game? I watched second half. Yeah. Okay. What'd you think? It was a good game entertaining. Yeah 23:13 I had the Jags 23:14 Travis Hunter 23:16 is I mean it didn't say that he's managed to like come back and actually be effective on both sides of the ball 23:22 It's crazy. He's really is 23:24 He's he's an absolute weapon and I think he did was the Travis Hunter who did the 23:29 The meme touchdown. Yeah, the dancing thing. Oh, no, I don't think it was I think it was someone else 23:35 Yeah, I think it might have been to what what's up from is that from I just it's like not you guys know 23:41 I'm talking about it's the little person doing the dance and it looks like it should be 23:47 From a movie like a hundred years ago. Mm-hmm, but I don't know where it's from 23:51 What what is that meme explain the meme to a Zach? I don't know that you didn't you you haven't seen that 23:58 It's a little person just shushing and then they just do a little dance 24:00 This tiny meme never came across my regular size desk 24:05 That's like is a movie from the 1900s it has to be because it feels like it 24:10 should be from the Wizard of Oz but I don't think it's from the Wizard of Oz 24:13 right like everyone wants it is AI oh so it's rumble still skin oh well it's 24:20 rumble still skins deal rumble still people into signing deals and then you 24:25 take your life. He's like a boy. Yeah. Yep. It was was that 24:34 creepy dude who signed everyone. Lou Perlman. Tell me why famous 24:41 German fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm in their 1812 24:45 collection Children Health. All right. Okay. So he just he 24:49 just gets people to sign really bad. He's a guy that you have 24:51 to like guess his name. If you guess his name, then he has to 24:54 Let you out of the deal. You say it three times in a mirror. I think you just have to guess it. Oh 24:59 You just guess his name. I think if you guess his name is no one would ever be named Rumpelstiltskin, right? 25:05 The brothers Grimm had some fucked up shit little rattles stilt is what it 25:11 Rumpelstiltskin translates. What about Rip Van Winkle? 25:14 He just went to sleep for a really long time that made a really good whiskey. Oh fuck it. He's already passed out 25:18 Yeah, yeah, you just got fucked up and passed out. I 25:21 I know that's, is that Papi Van Winkle? 25:23 I think it's his brother. 25:24 His brother made the whiskey. 25:25 There's also a Rip Van Winkle. 25:27 Is it? 25:27 Yeah. 25:27 You know, I'm saying his brother made the whiskey. 25:29 I think Rip was the one who just passed out. 25:30 Papi Van Winkle, there's no better whiskey to mix 25:33 with like a Pepsi Zero Sugar than Papi Van Winkle. 25:36 I agree. 25:37 It actually sets you off. 25:38 I actually like to put a little Pepsi 25:41 and then a little vinegar in my Papi Van Winkle. 25:44 The vinegar? 25:44 Yeah, vinegar and Papi. 25:45 Like a floater? 25:46 Yeah, yeah. 25:46 A little vinegar floater in your whiskey. 25:48 That's pretty good. 25:49 It's really good. 25:50 I love good whiskey. 25:50 Everyone should try that and then you what you do is you drink it and then you 25:54 lick some salt and 25:56 Take a little little lime. You squeeze a lime in your mouth 26:00 Chaser and then someone slaps you and that's the perfect pick. That's good. Yeah, that's really good whiskey that we're whiskey connoisseurs 26:07 Everyone knows that I'm a bourbon boy. Do you think we'll ever get into that? I do like bourbon. I like bourbon 26:12 I do too, but I'm say I know I like it. I'm saying you guys know what I'm saying. I 26:20 We're testing it and they're doing videos and saying, look at what I got tonight. 26:24 Remember when Billy got you that? 26:25 PFT is close. 26:27 No, he's not. 26:28 Not really. 26:29 I like it. 26:30 I like good bourbon. 26:31 I know the difference between good bourbon and like I really enjoy a good bourbon, but 26:34 I don't research them and know anything about the bottles or anything. 26:38 Didn't Billy get you a bourbon wood burning smoker? 26:42 Yeah, he got me a smoker. 26:43 Have you ever used that? 26:44 I tried to use it. 26:44 I'm too dumb to use it. 26:46 So no fault of Billy's. 26:47 Like that was a good gift. 26:48 I was just too dumb to figure out how to use it properly. I think it's like guys have three choices in life 26:53 It's become like very heavily into bourbon heavily into craft beer or get divorced. Yep 26:59 It's like that's it why use which store wine as well. Why it's kind of you could be wrong guy 27:04 But yeah, I'm not it's a girl thing once I know you say would you say smoke meats smoke meats, too? 27:10 Yeah, I definitely get into wine. No they do but then I call them girls 27:15 Once I was working I was working a whiskey tasting booth at this wine and food 27:19 festival because the only way that I could get into the free tasting was to 27:23 be a volunteer at it so it's down in Austin it's like once a year so I 27:26 volunteered to run the whiskey booth and so I was in charge like pouring 27:29 people bourbons and I would just make up stuff about the bourbons as I was pouring 27:33 it was off the top of my head and I forget what I said like this one's 27:36 got hint of vanilla in it and this guy was in front of like a small there's 27:40 small group probably like 10 people around me. He goes, that's 27:43 actually not true. He's wearing a fedora. I'll never forget 27:46 because that's actually not true. I was like, Oh, yeah. And he 27:48 takes a card out of his pocket. And he made himself a card. 27:52 He's a fed. He made himself a card that said his name and then 27:55 master whiskey taster. Damn, he just walked around carrying 27:58 like a business card. Damn, not his actual job. You got 28:01 fucking I got owned. You got the feds on you. Yeah. Max 28:04 okay, you can get in wine. I'm sorry. I know you're 28:06 thinking well, Italian's like one. Yeah, I know. 28:08 So Italian get drunk have purple teeth 28:13 Yeah, yeah 28:15 One additional note of this London game. Yeah, they had the most dog shit corgi race of all time 28:21 I saw that did you see it? Yeah. Can you pull up pull up the dog shit corgi race? 28:25 Yeah, we got to start respecting corgi races more guys. This is terrible. These are probably the inbred corgis at the Queen Races 28:32 because they didn't know how to race. 28:35 They just, they scattered. 28:38 That's the very end of it, by the way. 28:40 It was about a 42nd race and they all went across the field. 28:43 Do you know what the problem is here? 28:45 I think as a culture, England, 28:47 they're not doing corgi races. 28:49 So like our corgis are trained to one day, 28:52 every corgi in America goes to bed at night 28:55 and they're like, some day I hope my owner 28:58 brings me to a division one college football game 29:01 and I can race. 29:02 That's it. 29:02 That's all they're looking for. 29:04 In England, they're like, you know, 29:06 we're just going to sit by a crackling fire 29:08 while my owner drinks tea. 29:10 This is in like some country estate. 29:13 It sounds like it's disrespectful to Wimley. 29:15 This is like when Augusta invited Dude Perfect. 29:18 Yeah. 29:18 It's disgusting. 29:19 These corgis had no desire whatsoever to run. 29:22 No. 29:23 Fuck them. 29:23 Look at that. 29:24 Oh my God. 29:25 Out of shape. 29:26 Leave it to us. 29:27 We do the corgi races. 29:28 It'd be like if if if we what's the game in France next week if if at halftime 29:34 They've got like a dog balancing on a gym ball or you know an Asian lady red and plates to herself 29:41 Yeah, don't do that. That's our shit 29:43 We were the we're the country where our attention span is so low that we need someone to entertain us with ooze and Oz at half 29:50 Time we're not gonna have a mime come out at halftime. Yeah, look how fast this corgi race 29:54 That's America maybe because we are absolutely moving. Yes. 29:58 Because again, we breed our corgis to race for $0 at the half 30:03 time of major sporting events. 30:06 That's what we do for the glory for the glory in England. 30:09 They don't understand that because I will just get relegated. 30:11 But yeah, it doesn't matter for the 10 second bumper in from 30:14 from commercial break right before the half kicks. 30:16 But what a moment that is. It is. It's incredible. 30:18 And their court. 30:19 I'm telling you, you have to find the entire clip of the full 30:22 Corgiris today. It was it was so bad. It was so bad. Yeah. 30:27 Maybe reconsider having that of all things should make you 30:30 think twice about playing games over in England. Yeah, this is 30:32 Wisconsin UCLA game last night. They had that refs got involved 30:36 big time. Oh, they gave him some cream. Nice. 30:39 Refs got involved in the Corgiris. No, they probably did 30:42 that one guy Valar to fucking head ref of the game probably 30:45 did probably try to call penalty on Wisconsin. The I'm I'm 30:51 buying stock in the texts. I've already said this, but I did bet them to win the AFC South 30:54 at plus 400. So I don't know. I did it at like half time. So it might have changed before 31:00 or after the game because this was a pretty, pretty big game swing. But yeah, I think, 31:06 I think the texts are going to be there. I, I, and I don't, we're going to get to 31:10 the cults. They stink Titans. I guess they don't stink today. We shouldn't say they 31:15 stink today. What is it right now? It's a plus two 90. Yeah. So I should have 31:20 pulled the shirt. I think it's plus 500 before kickoff. And then I watched a half and I was 31:24 like, yes, he just routes back plus 400. Okay. Next game. Let's go state side for the first 31:32 place. Cleveland Browns, Browns 13 Ravens 10. This is the latest. The Cleveland Browns 31:40 have been in first place in the AFC North since week 10 2014. And it's only week 31:48 six, but still it's pretty. They beat their, they're, they're tied at first, but they have 31:53 the tiebreaker because they beat in the Ravens and they beat in the Steelers, the Cleveland 31:57 Browns. I'll say this about them. I still don't know how good they are, but they clearly 32:01 have a game plan and their game plan is thus drag you into deep water and then have 32:08 the Sean Watson in the fourth quarter drown you. That's what they do. They basically 32:12 are like, Hey, for the first three quarters, the Sean's not going to be good, but 32:16 our defense will be. And then in the fourth quarter, Deshaun Watson will be good and will 32:21 win the game. Deshaun Watson now has three fourth quarter comeback wins this season. And 32:27 that's his fourth game winning drive. They have four wins every single one. They've got 32:31 a fourth game winning drive from Deshaun Watson. He basically needs three quarters 32:36 to get warmed up. He had 65 yards passing in the first three quarters, 99 in the 32:41 in the fourth quarter. That's their plan. And their defense keeps them in every game 32:45 until the Sean's like, you know what? 32:47 I've seen enough. 32:48 I can actually complete a pass now 32:49 and then he starts completing passes. 32:51 And Jerry Judy showed up. 32:52 Jerry Judy played pretty good today. 32:53 Yeah, big reception. 32:55 To go kind of along with that step, 32:57 Big Cat, the Browns, they had won 33:00 and covered in four straight division games 33:02 going into today. 33:04 And now it's five, five in a row doing that. 33:07 That's at least the first time since 1994, 33:09 if not way back in like the 1970s. 33:12 Damn. 33:12 So this is this is rare territory for Cleveland. Yeah, and the whole division's good 33:19 But the Browns somehow they're at the top of it right now. I I think the whole division's good 33:23 I don't know if the whole division's good. I didn't say that the division was great. That's true 33:28 I said I said I would have said no. I said the whole division. I don't know it that there's a great team 33:33 Can I add a ish? They're good ish 33:35 There's not a there's not a great team in that division right now 33:37 One of these teams is going to potentially be great. 33:40 The others are going to probably stay in good ish. 33:42 It would help if if the Ravens had Lamar. 33:45 Yeah, that's a big difference. 33:47 The Ravens without Lamar. 33:48 I think we can say they're not good. 33:50 Mm hmm. 33:51 Yeah, I would say so. 33:52 I mean, they but they listen, they they they're going to. 33:56 Hopefully Lamar comes back and they're going to say, hey, 33:59 we went one in one with Snoop Huntley, which that's all you're looking for. 34:03 Yeah, try to water like Snoop. 34:05 Buntley is not good, but he's good enough for a backup 34:07 quarterback. I think you can tread water. I think Declan Doyle 34:10 ran to the bottom of his bag of tricks of stuff that he could do 34:13 a snoop at halftime today. Oh, dude, he Atlanta was that was 34:17 one thing. And then he's at by halftime. He's like, I don't 34:19 know what else to do. The he is going to be a head coach in 34:22 the next couple of years that play where he had he had two 34:25 plays the touchdown past to Quavis was awesome. He basically 34:28 ran around about like all the way around and was wide open. 34:31 And then he ran, he put Quavis, their backup tight end as the left guard, but not on the 34:37 line of scrimmage. 34:38 So he was able to go downfield and he just blasted through the agap for like a 30 yard 34:42 pass. 34:43 It was so sick. 34:44 That's some shit that John Harbaugh tried to get out of the game. 34:47 Yeah. 34:47 Yeah. 34:49 But that's that's kind of like the Liam Cohen, I think might be doing it because 34:52 he just wants to get shot. 34:53 Declan Doyle might be doing it because he wants to get a head coach and which 34:56 makes sense. 34:57 And it's cool. 34:57 And it's fucking cool. 34:59 It works. 34:59 It's awesome. 34:59 Yeah, but yeah, the Browns defense that it was Carson Swesinger is awesome 35:03 He was I feel like he was in on every tackle. They held Derek Henry to 58 yards and 35:09 They they basically were like, yeah, let's let's bet that the the the Ravens who I think this was I saw the stat 35:16 I got pulled up. I think this was their 17th 35:19 Double-digit lead that they've blown since 2018 17th. Think about that 17th double-digit lead. They've blown 35:27 Yeah, since 2018, which is the most NFL over that span, so they're basically like, Hey, 35:33 it doesn't matter. We just got to be we got to be in striking distance at the end of in 35:37 fourth quarter. The Ravens led the game for 18 minutes. The Browns led the game for zero 35:41 seconds. Yeah. Yeah, mentor, I believe has three 10 point blown leads already. Yes. So 35:48 this is one of those situations where it's got we're going to we're going to talk 35:52 about the Steelers where I like I know the Steelers ended up winning. But as 35:56 I was watching that game, especially when they were down, I was like, this is just the 35:59 Mike Tomlin Steelers where their their favorites on the road and they shouldn't be and it's 36:04 like you can't get that out of the out of the building. 36:07 It feels like you can't get the Harbaugh blown leads out of the building yet. 36:10 Yeah, you might not be able to. 36:11 You might need to do some type of say, yeah, burn some sage. 36:16 I don't even know. 36:17 What do you do for that? 36:18 I think you have to change the drapes. 36:20 I think sometimes you have to remember to just keep running Derek Henry, even 36:24 when it's not working. 36:25 Yeah, I mean his fumble that was that's bad switch the game as bad as it. Yeah, big change 36:28 And he wasn't again great in short yarded situations today 36:32 Yeah, but I think it's like it takes a special kind of of coach to say like I don't give a fuck that it's not working 36:38 We just kind of have to keep doing it and trust that eventually it's going to work and we'll kill the clock in the process 36:45 Mm-hmm. Did you guys see Jared Allen playing beer die at the boony lot before that was pretty cool 36:50 That was cool Cleveland. I mean 36:52 Not so much the Guardians after losing the last two games, but Cleveland's have a little bit of a hot streak, Hank 36:59 Not today. Well, I mean the Browns one if the first time they've been this is the latest 37:03 They've been in first place since 2014 if they had pulled a double win 37:08 In Cleveland that I would have had to give it respect, but you unfortunately 37:12 What about a two out of three win with Ohio State winning in Indiana? 37:16 No, no, okay, so no expected their favorites 37:21 the Brownsman was good Brownsman was I mean it was great they and I think 37:26 what wears Dom at in his I think next week is a must win against the Titans so 37:33 he's he's it must win territory with the Titans because I mean the Browns 37:38 could be five and two you can't lose that game five and two that's how much of a 37:42 must win I mean it truly is thankfully the the Titans are off a win so did 37:46 the breath. Yeah, must win. Must win against the Titans. And what would happen if they 37:50 beat the Titans? They'd be in a little brother becomes big brother bowl against the Steelers. 37:57 Holy shit. It's a little early for that, isn't it? Well, it would be the it would they would 38:02 have swept them if they beat them. Right? True. So would they be the they would be 38:08 the big brother? Is that is that how it's done? Like every 38:11 time there's a season sweep? I feel like it takes longer than that. It takes 38:16 year. It takes like a generation of growing up with an inferiority complex. Yeah, to a 38:21 better team to truly flip that over. But hey, we have to have a stat. I mean, we did 38:26 babies born in X year. Don't remember the Steelers beating the Browns. You're putting 38:30 way too much sense on on Dom's simulator because remember if you forget we had a week 38:35 three game of the century. That is true. Yeah. Okay, good point. So there's I don't 38:40 think there's any rhyme or reason to anything that we're doing on this thing. Good point. 38:43 So the Browns are officially in first place officially in first place and especially doubly in first place if we count streak 38:49 Yeah, officially in first and I guess yeah mentor. I think I said he lost 10 get two games 38:55 There with a big lead because that yeah, there's also something about I 38:59 Mason Graham didn't play like Mason Graham's gonna come back there 39:02 There's something about having like Cleveland having a like a really good defense and now maybe a quarterback who can win them 39:09 games in the fourth quarter. They're built in the Cleveland model. They're never going 39:13 to make it look good. It's never going to be a sexy watch or something that you're like, 39:17 oh man, I can't wait to watch the Browns play football. Doesn't matter. Four and two top 39:22 of the AFC North. First time or latest they've ever done it since 2014. That's something. 39:30 Do we have any more any updates? Is there still like a contingent of Browns fans that 39:34 watch the door. I don't think so. I don't think so either. 39:37 Brown Todd Munkin did say on it on Dishon's performance today, 39:41 we just got to flatten out some of the other ups and downs that 39:44 we have. It's a we thing, not an individual thing. He's 39:48 probably talking about the first six drives of the or five 39:51 drives of the game in the first half being all punts and 39:54 only like two first downs. So that's probably what he's got 39:57 to flatten out. Okay, should we go to the next game? 40:01 Bears 31 Falcons 23 Kale Williams is back. 40:06 That was fun. 40:07 Got tight a little bit in the at the end of the game 40:11 because Dennis Allen put in a bunch of the backups for a stretch there, 40:14 which I didn't really understand. 40:15 But what I thought in the cave, I heard you say stress free win. 40:18 What a game it was. 40:20 I mean, it was 30. 40:20 It was 31 to seven. 40:23 And it was we're just cruising. 40:25 And then the Falcons were like, oh, you have your backups in. 40:28 we can just throw it to Kyle Pitts and he'll score a touchdown and then they got both of the two-point conversions 40:33 But this game was about Cale Williams looking awesome in his return 40:37 Kyler Gordon being an absolute menace and Dennis Allen being a demon on third down Kyler Gordon had 40:44 I think it was the first time in 40 years that if defensive back had three sacks and and multiple force fumbles 40:49 It basically he was just they could not figure out where he was coming from 40:54 he was incredible today and 40:57 So Kyler Gordon and then special teams was great as well. And it's good to have a win and Caleb was looked awesome 41:02 It's 24 for 24 in a clean pocket today. And and what was his overall completion? 41:08 It was 83% highest of his career 83% highest by was he like 12 12 for 12 something like yeah start the game 41:15 Yeah, he was highest by a baron franchise history with over 30 attempts 41:20 he's I think leading the NFL and completion percentage right now and 41:23 And he also was the third quarterback ever to have 50 touchdowns with less than 15 interceptions joining Mahomes and Lamar 41:31 It was it was just fun to have him back and it's like yeah 41:35 This is an enjoyable watch and like Luther Burton got involved Colson Loveland got a book got involved caught a touchdown 41:42 Roshan Johnson was was good outside the fumble, which I I know I said last week 41:46 I wasn't I want him an on guy back because I didn't like watching Roshan play. He played well 41:51 It was a fun win. Little tight. Didn't like how tight it got. 41:56 Again, Dennis Allen throwing in some of the backups was was a was part of why it 42:00 got tight and the Bears they're often kind of stalled for a minute there in the 42:03 third quarter. But a wins a win. A road win. And did you see this Kevin 42:08 Savansky said after that the Balkans had to go on a silent count. I did see 42:13 that. He said that they practiced that all week because he had a pretty 42:15 good feeling that there would be a lot of Bears fans. Yeah. I didn't know 42:18 Chicago was like it like a big time people retire from Chicago and move 42:23 there. No, I think it's just like traveling. Yeah. For that game. Yeah. I mean, 42:27 that's that's probably a top. I mean, when you're looking at games to go to if 42:32 you you can basically bank on it being indoors. So you don't have to worry 42:36 about weather. Yeah. And go see Atlanta. But yeah, good win. There was also a 42:40 moment we all we all called it in real time. At what point are the TV 42:45 be graphics people going to realize that you can't advance a 42:47 muff punt. Yeah, when is that going to happen? Yeah, it's not 42:50 like it's a new rule. Yep. And it happens. It feels like it 42:53 happens every week. There'll be somebody that muffs a punt. Then 42:57 the punting team recovers. They run into the end zone 43:00 because their momentum is carrying themselves down there 43:02 anyways. And then the graphic changes, the score 43:05 changes, it says touchdown on the screen. And then the 43:08 announcers have to be like, Well, wait, wait, there actually 43:10 doesn't count you. The rule is you cannot advance a 43:13 month pun. Yeah, they put it up. They put the score up. This 43:16 happens every week, every single week. We need to have a 43:18 discussion with all our graphics people out there. Yeah, I'd 43:21 agree. Doesn't count. No ball doesn't count. But yeah, that was a 43:24 big, that was a big swing in the game. Do we have an update on 43:27 Kendall Daniels? Because that was scary when he went down 43:30 and they the game stopped for a while. The only quote I saw 43:33 from Stafansky was that he's doing okay. He's in the 43:36 hospital. I think he has movement in his extremities. 43:39 Yeah. I think that's what Stafansky said. That was 43:41 Scary because it didn't seem like it was anything and then it was like oh shit 43:45 They came back and because he kind of sat up after it happened 43:48 And then they came back and the stretcher was there was like oh fuck 43:52 So that wasn't good. I also saw there were some people upset because I think maybe during the the 44:00 Like breaking action there was a 44:02 Fuck the Packers chant going or Green Bay sucks chant going I then saw that there was which that if that 44:09 when I first heard that, I was like, come on, there's a guy hurt. 44:13 There was a Packers fan at the game who was just standing up and antagonizing the crowd. 44:18 So he basically, he induced his own Green Bay Sucks chant by himself. 44:24 Got it. 44:25 He just was standing up pointing at people and like getting everyone to chant. 44:28 I do admire the hater move of going to a Falcons game as a Packer fan 44:33 because they're playing the Bears. 44:34 Yeah. 44:35 Hold on, I'll send it to you, Max, because I was, you know, 44:38 you know on the show we have to answer for anything that any of our fan bases ever do which is only fair 44:44 not max but so when I first saw it I was like shit this is a bad look if this is actually what 44:50 happened and then seeing this guy I'm telling you right now seeing this guy go crazy max delante 44:58 almost said it's a max homo by accident I've done that okay sending you max 45:05 They, uh, I also thought the Bears had a good game plan of like, you know how you can stop 45:10 Bajon just have the ball in offense all the time. 45:13 Because that I was very worried about Bajon in this game and Michael Pentax did not have 45:17 a great game, especially in the first half. 45:19 They were like, I think he had like three yards halfway through. 45:23 See this guy. 45:24 He was basically, he was just standing up. 45:29 He was getting everyone to chant Green Bay sucks at him. 45:34 So that's probably where it came from because I do I would say losing getting absolutely 45:40 smoked by the Packers and then having that be a chant unsolicited in Atlanta the next 45:45 week when the Bears are playing well would be lame. But that guy was was basically being 45:50 the heel to the entire crowd. I really I do respect it. Do you think he saw the schedule 45:55 come out? I'm assuming he lives in Atlanta. Do you think he circled that game? He's 45:58 like I'm going to go to it no matter what. Probably just to fuck with Bears fans. 46:01 or do you think he waited until after the win. 46:03 And then he's like, they're in town next weekend. 46:06 I got to go remind him. 46:07 Yeah, I got to go do it. 46:08 Either way, I approve. 46:09 Yeah. 46:10 What do you guys think of the Falcons overall going forward? 46:14 I think that they have to figure out a way to. 46:16 I know that the Bears had the ball 46:17 and the Falcons were in a deep, deep hole 46:19 for pretty much right off the bat. 46:21 Mm hmm. 46:21 But to kind of take Bajon out of it feels like you're not 46:25 giving yourself a chance to even try to get back in the game. 46:28 Yeah. Yeah. 46:29 I know they I know that you have to go for chunk plays and all that when you're down 46:32 You have to it limits the playbook, but he's your most explosive player even when he's just running the ball 46:37 Yeah, you only run the ball nine times nine times six point eight yards for Kerry, but it was it did feel like it was 46:44 14-nothing right in the blink of an eye. Yeah, it was over pretty quickly 46:48 So that that was definitely a benefit to the Bears 46:51 I also it was just a satisfying win because there was a lot of noise this week about you know 46:56 Ben Johnson getting humbled I think our guy we gotta have our guy stink back on 47:00 but he had some choice words for I don't think Ben Johnson forgot how to coach 47:04 because he lost one game to the Packers but there was a lot of people who wanted 47:07 to dump on him so it's fun and Kale's back and he saw the grant he said 47:11 afterwards he saw the graphic on get up there was just Falcons across the 47:16 board so everybody put pick the Falcons yeah on get up I guess I missed 47:20 that I didn't know they did picks on yeah I didn't know they did picks 47:24 disappointing greenie yeah did you think he'll look good Hank yeah I think 47:32 bears should be excited Tim looks good oh I see what you're doing Hank were you 47:37 yeah look at this Hank we glad this is Orlovsky Shrager oh greenie doesn't make 47:42 picks what is he not allowed to make picks he might he might abstain yeah what 47:47 a nerd you know no I think no I think it saves his pick for a countdown oh 47:51 Okay, I think he keeps us wanting more. It's like a little appetizer for greenies pick 47:56 I gotta say I haven't tuned in to countdown it forever. No, I don't remember last time. I looked 48:02 Games on now. Yeah. Thanks Hank. You did that Hank doing it for years. Yeah 48:09 Okay, so yeah Hank, would you have rather that the the Bears 48:13 Won or lost this game? No, I was actually kind of disappointed that they almost like had an all-time choke during this game 48:19 because I would have rather than just kept the lead and I they still they 48:24 still are and they still should be but I want bears fans riding as high as they 48:28 possibly can be riding yeah going into Thursday can't wait so you just walk in 48:32 there just crush their dreams game I think so yeah I don't have to get to 48:39 but you just you think that you're going mentally I'm playing I've said 48:46 for theoretically you'd like to go yeah are you waiting for somebody to give you 48:51 tickets no this is right now no I I didn't I did not I was you want tickets 48:57 I was not gonna bring itself on the show okay I give you tickets if you want 49:01 tickets or we have tic-pac so if I need tickets I'll just use them yeah yeah 49:05 yeah I mean there was a when the when the Falcons had the ball after that 49:11 furious comeback. Thank God for Kyler Gordon because he was incredible. And he that that 49:17 was a moment where I was like, what the fuck is happening? Because it was, I did say stress 49:21 free for and it felt like it. And then it was like, wait a second, we got to pay attention. 49:25 I took it off sound. The Steelers looked bad for a first the 51:44 first half especially. Mike McCarthy rolled his ankle. I think it was just a fat injury. 51:50 I said I saw that he might have gotten stepped on. Ah, I never a good thing if your injuries 51:57 described like a bag of Coke that you hate. Yeah. Yeah. He's apparently it was on the 52:02 rush to go to the locker room. Got it. He got cleated. And then 52:05 he he tried to waddle away, waddle it off. And then they're 52:09 like, sir, we need to check you in the blue tent, because that's 52:11 the only place where doctors are. So I think it was just a fat 52:15 injury. And unfortunately, the reason why I'm saying that is 52:18 we had two of them in the cave today. Max stood up at one 52:22 point in the cave and just said I just tore my ACL. And 52:26 Max, I didn't say it at the time. But I actually did the 52:30 the exact same thing like an hour before. 52:32 I stood up and I was like, well, there goes my MCL. 52:35 It's gone. 52:35 I have nothing left in my knee. 52:37 It's gone. 52:38 I don't know what happened. 52:39 I just stood up and I'm fat and I stood up too fast. 52:42 And I think that's probably what happened 52:44 with Mike McCarthy. 52:45 He rolled his fat. 52:46 Sometimes you can just like tweak your fat 52:48 to the point where you're like, 52:49 I'm never gonna walk again. 52:51 And I think that's what Mike McCarthy was doing 52:53 when he was hobbling around and going into the blue tent. 52:56 Your fat can also fall asleep too. 52:58 Oh yeah. 52:58 Which is just as deadly. 53:00 Yes, absolutely. Yeah, in case of numb fat the dormant fat really dangerous 53:04 But yeah, Mike McCarthy walking out of the blue injury tent was uh, it was very funny 53:09 I don't know what I don't know what they did in there like if they 53:12 There's no x-ray machine there. So I don't know what they were looking 53:15 They just had a doctor tell them take your take your shoe off real quick. Let me take a look 53:18 I think they probably just gave him a sticker and they're like hey get back out there big guy a band aid 53:23 Yeah, they someone kissed it gave him a lollipop Jersey like we need you for the second half get it back out 53:28 They're big guy Jersey Jerry would've been like let me see the tutsies and give him a little smooch. I would actually imagine knowing 53:35 Mike McCarthy they probably did pull out like the the chart for the kids being like tell us where it hurt like what? 53:40 What scale 1 to 10? 53:42 Where how much does it hurt right now Mike? I think you probably he probably just did it for the lollipop 53:47 Yeah, he knows that you get examined by the doctor. Yeah, here we go 53:50 There's a blow pop Mike sticker in a lollipop Mike McCarthy 53:53 But yeah, this was the box or the Steelers looking bad and then their defense being opportunistic Aaron Rogers hit 54:01 Jeremy Bernard is good. Can we just say that sometimes? Yeah, so he had a good game and he he had he has like he's in the 54:08 Trust tree he went out and then he's back in he did fuck up 54:11 He jumped out of the trust tree early in the game. Yeah, and it was bad. It was a bad fuck up 54:16 it was I think it was third down and 54:18 and it was a third or fourth down. 54:20 He ran past the chains, turned around, caught the ball 54:24 and then continued to run backwards 54:26 to get around one defender that was trying to tackle him 54:28 and turned a first down into like being 54:31 two, three yards short of the first down. 54:34 And so they had to, 54:34 it was either a turnover on downs immediately 54:36 or they had to punt the ball away after that. 54:38 And it was one of the dumbest plays 54:39 but then he made up for it towards the end of the game. 54:42 He's electric when he has the ball. 54:43 You could see that Rogers, 54:45 he went back in the trust tree 54:46 because he did trust him at the end of the game 54:47 to score that touchdown and I mean it was like one of those situations where the bucks almost 54:54 they were almost able to be like can we hide Jalen Daniels isn't probably the best starting 54:59 quarterback for four quarters and you got so close and then the fourth quarter happened 55:04 he just started throwing picks what I mean Zach this has been the bucks season so far is like 55:10 these games that you're going to look back and say oh my god we were up 16 to 3 up we were 55:14 up on the Browns like all these things that are or what ifs now. Yeah, we should 55:18 have won this game. We had it until we didn't have it. He Jalen's been holding 55:23 down at a quarterback for the last couple weeks. He's not the one though. You 55:28 know, hopefully we get Baker back soon. Yeah, it wasn't fun. I bought in too 55:32 heavy after the win last week. Like a silly fan. I got all excited just and 55:37 I should have known this was your silly. Yeah, it was silly. It was silly. 55:41 I did the silly fan thing where it's like, Oh, look, we just got a win. We 55:43 we could get more, that's just not true. 55:46 But you had to think during this game, 55:47 you're like, we look good, we're gonna win. 55:50 The entire game was like, all right, now we got two wins. 55:53 Which is also dumb, because I was counting it in my brain 55:55 when I shouldn't have. 55:57 Yeah. 55:57 Yeah, it was kind of lame, kind of sucked, absolutely blew it. 56:01 I think these types of losses happen from, 56:03 it's not super uncommon across the league, 56:06 but what is super uncommon is the Steelers coming back 56:08 from that big of a deficit. 56:09 Yeah. 56:10 It had been 31 consecutive games that they trailed 56:12 about 10 or more points without a win for the Steelers. 56:15 Late game pick was tough. 56:16 That a Jacob Parrish pass interference 56:17 where he kind of fell down, that was huge. 56:20 I think if that didn't happen, 56:21 maybe different outcome for the game, 56:23 but all right, we got two division of games coming up. 56:25 Yeah, win those. 56:26 Win those, and I mean, hey. 56:27 Win those. 56:28 Yeah, it was the first time since 1992, 56:30 Neil O'Donnell that the Steelers won the game. 56:33 That many games. 56:34 Trailing 13 in the fourth quarter. 56:36 It was Aaron Rodgers fourth quarter trailing 56:39 by 13 or more come back in his career. 56:42 at the other three were at the Packers. 56:43 So that part is different for the Steelers. 56:46 But to Jersey Jerry's credit, he kept on saying, 56:49 he's like, we're just gonna get a turnover at some point. 56:51 We're gonna get a turnover and it's gonna be fine. 56:53 We're gonna get a turnover. 56:54 And then it just happened. 56:55 And Todd Bowles said after the game, 56:57 you never have the game in control until it's over. 56:59 I would say that Todd Bowles never has the game 57:02 under control ever. 57:03 You know, that's Todd Bowles' way of saying, 57:06 like you probably shouldn't have said that, Todd. 57:08 I know it feels that way to you. 57:10 He only feels in control of the game when he's done with the game. Right. So yeah 57:15 So it's so facto. He has never felt in control. Correct. I think table is using a quote generator 57:19 I think he's just spamming generate before these press conferences and just saying whatever comes up on his phone 57:24 Todd bowls is so bad at coaching that 57:27 When it was overtime and the Steelers scored and went up seven and then we were talking about the the 57:34 of bucks potentially scoring and going for two. 57:38 PFT said, are you sure Todd Bowles? 57:41 And yes, I am sure. 57:42 But the fact that that question was lobbed 57:45 is a testament to how bad Todd, 57:46 but like it's not a hundred percent. 57:48 We could see Todd. 57:48 It's not a hundred percent. 57:49 We could see Todd Bowles if like for whatever reason 57:51 he didn't have a lot of confidence in his short yard. 57:55 Maybe it took him like eight tries 57:57 to get into the end zone in a goal line situation. 58:00 And there was a penalty that extended it. 58:02 And then they finally score. 58:03 or you could see Todd being like, 58:05 I didn't really trust our goal to go offense. 58:07 So we opted to go for the tie. 58:09 He definitely doesn't make the decision right away. 58:11 Like, he thinks about it. 58:12 No pan to the sideline, you'll see him think, 58:14 and then look to somebody else to make the call, 58:16 and then inevitably help lead. 58:17 Somebody else have a strong opinion about this. 58:19 Yeah, I joked about him punting on fourth down 58:21 at the end of the game in overtime. 58:23 And I was like joking, but also he could have. 58:27 Todd Bolts. 58:28 Try to get a turnover. 58:30 It is, you are in like a torture season right now 58:33 because you're you one win and you have all these games that you're going to if 58:38 you if you can rattle off a couple winters going to keep looking back and 58:40 being like well what if we beat in the Browns what if we beat in the Steelers 58:43 up 13 in the fourth quarter all this shit we go it'd be okay yeah it might not 58:50 be okay but Baker gonna come back I think so he was there's I haven't seen 58:54 anything online after the game what's looking like for next week I know he 58:58 was doubtful this week probably maybe doubtful next week he could so we'll 59:02 look towards like the top of the week to find out. 59:04 I would like him to, if he's healthy though, 59:06 I don't want him to just do it, just to do it. 59:07 If the thumb's good though, yeah, give it a shot. 59:11 He's the same thing we said about Snoop Huntley. 59:14 Jalen Daniels went one-in-one. 59:16 That's great. 59:17 You need to just get away now. 59:19 I will say Jalen Daniels was doing a fantastic job 59:21 most of the game until the end. 59:22 He does just get rid of it. 59:24 He does like, all right, couple of seconds, 59:25 just know your job, get rid of the ball, be done. 59:27 That was cool, but. 59:29 He should run more too. 59:30 I feel like there was a couple of times 59:31 where it's like, dude, just run. 59:33 And he's just like, no, I'm going to wait 59:34 until I can throw it between the fourth and ninths. 59:37 I think he took a couple shots last week on Thursday. 59:40 And I think somebody this week got to him and like, hey, 59:43 we can't have you get knocked out of the game. 59:46 We'd be in a bad spot. 59:47 But you're right. 59:48 He's more dynamic. 59:48 And he's a better player when he does have that freedom. 59:51 I think if anything, he's made himself a lot of money 59:53 the last couple of weeks. 59:54 He's going to be a backup quarterback. 59:56 Yeah, he's a backup quarterback. 59:57 He's going to be a solid backup quarterback, 59:58 at least for the next five years. 59:59 Also, shout out DK, he had a nice game. 60:01 Really good because it's it's it feels like it's been a like the Steelers have some weapons now on offense. It's not 60:08 DK Jeremy Bernard 60:10 Jalen Warren I 60:12 Love whenever Darnell Washington gets the ball because just so funny to watch. It's just so much bigger than everyone 60:18 He basically looks like those viral videos when they're when it's like this 60:23 350 pound eighth grader in Georgia is gonna be the top recruit 60:27 Like offensive linemen and he's just standing next to like kids that are five six 60:32 That's what deep. That's what Darnell Washington looks like on an NFL football field 60:37 It's fun to watch. Yeah, he makes he makes DK look like the skinny one. Yeah. Yeah, okay 60:43 You guys want to do Patriots jets? Yeah, sure your holes remain intact Patriots 26 jets 19 60:51 Never doubt ever 60:55 I wait if we're gonna do the when you corrected me saying I said it was gonna be it was a no sweat when you were 61:01 Saying some this is getting weird and yeah the stars were aligning for his fur fur it getting weird 61:07 But thankfully it was the jets like you had there was doubt that had crept in your head a very very small amount of doubt 61:14 Only because of the plays at the Patriots or make okay, well that so that's doubt 61:18 What how's that not doubt that's literally so you're saying but that is that 61:24 on the field you had a little doubt but sometimes it's that it's sometimes it's 61:28 the way the other team is playing you're like oh this team is playing good 61:31 enough to beat us this game was not the case like not that case it was just 61:36 like if we make every mistake we might lose this game and we made like three 61:40 or four mistakes where it's like what's going on this is getting weird 61:43 so that sounds like doubt you just described I was never there was never 61:46 Okay, like sometimes teams make mistakes. That's that's part of football 61:49 But against the Jets you have to make like a lot a lot a lot of mistakes, okay, and they tried memes 61:57 Well, yeah, the second half, but the Jets 100% outplayed in the first half like you keep saying it's the Jets 62:05 You got outplayed in you guys had a 14 minute time of possession 62:08 We had a minute 30 we were up seven three like you guys held the ball for longer for sure 62:14 But I don't know about outplayed in the first half 62:17 100% 62:19 Is that true? Yeah, and one of them for a touchdown 62:23 Yeah, two completions and then they went three and out on 62:27 the 62:28 Two-minute drill that's what that's what fuck that fuck the entire game 62:31 They went three and out gave it right back to them 62:33 They scored another touchdown and they were down the rest of the game. Well, you were you were down 62:37 17 three-and-a-half. So you can't say it was like 62:40 We got outplayed but we're up 17 three-and-a-half. Yeah 62:44 also everything until that that three now yeah Aaron Glenn what do we think 62:48 about him doing a halftime interview saying good news is we've got the ball 62:52 and then they immediately flashed to the Patriots starting the second half with 62:57 the ball I think he's very optimistic and we got the ball right back and scored 63:02 on the next drive trust guys make a trust his guys yeah we're gonna get the 63:06 ball he got the ball wait did he say we're getting the ball or they said the 63:10 good thing is we get the ball okay well at some point like he was right like at 63:15 some point they're gonna get the ball in the second half and they got it back 63:18 immediately so he's right so he's right and he scored immediately that's what 63:23 that's a power of optimism yeah that's optimism Hank how do you feel by the 63:31 way I think Drake may played outstanding in the second half today really good 63:34 football in the first half to how well you guys were down pretty much barely 63:40 winning 10 to 3 until it was 17 to 3 before halftime yep mm-hmm but is there 63:46 something going on with AJ Brown listen AJ Brown he was hurt he's used to 63:52 catching under thrown balls it's gonna take some time for him and Drake may to 63:56 get comfortable and he was rusty the passers are too good is what you're 64:00 saying it's gonna take time yes like he's gonna take time for him to get 64:05 used to like completing catches that hit his chest okay max has a question 64:09 Christopher, uh 64:10 What about all the Patriots fans just saying? Oh 64:15 Last year was a fluke because he didn't want to play with Jalen Hertz and then he did the exact same thing today 64:20 What would be the exact? Yeah, I don't know what he just dropped every pass. Yeah, and he 64:25 Alligator armed a deep ball that if he just stuck his arms out overthrown by a mile. Mm-hmm 64:31 No, he he looked like bad comically bad like the 64:36 The the the onside kick attempt at the end of the game where it just hit why they put them on hands team 64:40 Just see one go through the seem like they kept trying to do that like he he dropped a few and then the first play the next drive 64:46 It's like they were going to him. They were going there trying to get him warmed up again 64:49 It's it's gonna take time like it says it's basically his first game because he got hurt early in the first game 64:55 So we're in we're basically the preseason with AJ Brown. We seem to be you know 64:59 Do you think the kicker was a kicker for the Jets do that thing? There was a second. It was a second half 65:04 Yeah, it was the second half. 65:05 From the water boy? 65:05 No, I'm saying, but it was the first game. 65:06 But you said early in the first game. 65:10 Early, early. 65:10 Or you got hurt in the second half. 65:12 In the second half of the first game. 65:13 Yeah, but like early. 65:14 He's also played a lot of football. 65:15 Early in the season? 65:17 Early in the game. 65:18 And he stunk last year, 65:19 and everyone was like, 65:20 oh yeah, that's just because Jalen hurts, 65:21 and then he stunk again today. 65:23 That would be a cause of concern 65:24 if he looks this bad moving forward. 65:27 Because he looked horrible. 65:28 What do you think about him 65:29 not celebrating with his teammates 65:30 when they scored a touchdown? 65:32 That's true? 65:33 I didn't see that max forwarded that to my desk. Oh my god 65:36 It was just something that came across my desk 65:38 So I thought maybe it would also be passed. Yes to PFT's desk. Wait. Can I see that kind of for today to crush your desk? 65:47 One moment. I don't know. I'm too scared to forward that across my desk 65:51 Memes how you feeling overall? 65:54 We think but 65:56 But I mean you they could have won this game today. Yeah, true 66:00 They just couldn't execute. What do you mean true? They could have I agree that I'm agreeing with you. I said true 66:07 Sorry 66:09 Let it out memes. No, it's all right. They could have won the game. Why didn't read they didn't execute 66:16 Facts one on it 66:20 But memes don't let him I'm agreeing with him 66:24 Do you think you you had a team that was good enough to win today? I 66:28 I think we have the guys that are good enough to win. Oh, I'm excited for Thursday night. There's nice to be fun 66:34 So phone where where's the where's whose lines is anyway? I don't know where 66:43 Three half I'll say two and a half 66:46 Want me to pull it up? Sure. I'll pull it up if you guys on mine 66:51 Patriots plus signs gonna be fit fantastic tuna. Oh 66:55 okay 66:55 All right. 66:57 Plus a 130 for the money left. 66:58 What about your offensive line, Hank? 67:00 Feel like you need to go through a lot of injuries. 67:02 We had about seven injuries. 67:04 We have five offensive linemen hurt. 67:05 We got three more that got hurt today. 67:07 That's a major concern. 67:10 It felt like every drive we were, 67:14 someone was going down with an injury. 67:16 So yeah, that will be something 67:19 we just gotta get the ball quick. 67:23 Preach. 67:23 Get the ball fast. 67:25 Whoa, whoa. 67:26 What I don't get mad when people agree with me. Oh 67:30 Got it. Oh, you're talking about memes 67:33 Well, you're cutting me off. I was talking 67:35 True you were doing that memes. I'm gonna give you the floor 67:39 Hey, just cut you off. Well, you were talking true. He's doing it. I know 67:44 Memes the first yours. No, I don't think floor is my stop cutting me off Hank 67:48 It's your floor means you got it 67:50 It's your floor means. I don't think it's my floor go take the floor memes 67:54 This is if Hank cuts you off. Yeah, I'm gonna cut. I won't they could have won 68:06 Now he's doing hand signals. Yeah 68:09 We say wait is he not allowed to exist. He's doing hand signals. He's not cutting you off doing hand signals. They could have won 68:17 The Patriots have the better coach 68:20 Hmm 68:22 That's right. That's really it. But Mike variable did say after the game that the pitchers were lucky to win 68:29 So that sounds like there might have been a little doubt 68:32 It was again 68:33 It's like it was very lucky that we were playing the jets like if we were playing a better team. We lose that game 68:40 We won in spite of ourselves 68:43 Okay, but but in the NFL like a win-to-win you take it 68:46 However, you can get should have covered missed a fucking extra point knew it was gonna come back to cost us 68:51 It came back to cost us not covering that game was criminal because we we should have won by like 30 68:59 Saw that sentiment a lot you didn't mm-hmm correct 69:03 So you can't say should have jet should have won 69:08 You didn't okay. We could have won by 30. We could have covered 69:14 Let's go to one by 30 69:16 Yeah, yeah facts, but you didn't score it on the first drive of the game true 69:19 We had a phantom true pass interference call. Yeah bullshit 69:22 it. Thanks. Omar Cooper looked good. Omar Cooper really great. Yeah. Really good. Jets 69:27 good skill position players when they're fully healthy like Sadiq. Yeah. Sadiq Mesa Taylor. 69:32 Omar Cooper Garrett Wilson and Eddie Mitchell like if Gino gets a ball out and Frank Reich 69:39 actually dials something up. Mm hmm. Don't shout true. Hey, it's been such a shit to 69:48 you memes. I don't like it. You said that I don't like it. It was a different team 69:53 That you guys would have lost but it was the Jets and that happens Thursday night. We're losing. I'll say this 69:58 I'm just gonna list some teams and you tell me if you were playing against those teams today if they would have 70:03 Beat you. Let's do this. I can suck the guys the bills. Yes, they would have beaten you. Yes, the 70:10 Ravens. Yes 70:12 The bears. Yes 70:14 The Broncos 70:16 Definitely the browns. Yes 70:20 Whoa the dolphins 70:21 in Miami. Yeah. Sunday day. Yep. What are the Titans? Yeah, I mean, they were the way 70:30 they played today. Yeah. Cardinals. Definitely. The Colts. Is Anthony Richardson quarterback? 70:38 No, it's it's Andrew Luck and but the the balls are being provided by the Colts. Then yes. 70:45 The Jets 70:47 No 70:49 Is there any other team? 70:52 No chargers 70:54 Come on. I don't 70:57 Pro I'll say no. I'll say no charge. Yeah, they're a fucking joke. They can't do anything. I 71:03 Don't think the Jets are that bad memes either. They're not they're not 71:07 Okay, you're such sure it means I was sitting 71:11 Hickerson right behind me to say that he had no doubt is a lie. He had there was there was some nervous talk at points in this game 71:21 Absolutely, yeah, I'm shut 71:23 But then you know through the interception. Yeah, that's the only thing that you can say that's the chance and Aaron Glenn 71:28 Just needs to figure out when he when they get the ball 71:31 That's a that's a spoken into well that and the the under two minutes is a major 71:37 Yeah, what was that? It was like 90 he's been outscored 96 to 7 under 2 minutes. Oh my god 71:43 It's bad and it lost us the game today 71:46 And that's all like those those end of 2 minutes in the first half start of 2 minute 71:51 You know format like that double dip is like that's how games. Yeah, they went field goal 3 and out touchdown 71:57 That's literally how the Saints won today was that double dip? 72:00 Damn, but like is that his fault when like when they're just going 3 and out 72:04 That's gotta be on the offense. Yeah, that's true. He needs to play that game though the two-minute drill 72:11 Yeah, the two-minute honestly that probably would help him it definitely would he definitely needs to play that game. Okay, uh 72:19 Next game Panthers 25 Eagles 14 72:23 Max is giving up rightfully so yeah, I mean there it's preseason team 72:29 You you at one point 72:33 you were sitting so far away from your game it was almost like you were you were like 72:39 didn't want to be seen with your game this is the way I'll describe it like have you ever 72:44 seen a scary movie where you go where you're watching it and you kind of like have to watch 72:48 in between your eyes because you like have to disassociate yourself with that game yeah or 72:53 that that movie that's how I'm watching Eagles games right now is that like I can't sit too 72:59 closely and paid because I know that it stinks. I know that what I'm watching 73:04 stinks that I need some sort of space barrier because it's not worth my anger 73:10 because it's not an NFL football. So your your distance was actually making you 73:16 more calm? Yes. Because yeah so we have we have eight TVs on the wall in the 73:21 gambling cave here in the office and Max started the game sitting basically 73:26 right in front of his game and then at halftime I just started hearing his voice and I was 73:32 like what game is he talking about because he had moved to the other side of the room. 73:36 He was sitting the furthest point from the Eagles game TV and he just couldn't be seen 73:43 with it. 73:44 He didn't want to be seen in public with the Eagles team that was on the field. 73:50 Yeah, I mean it's just not a good football team. 73:54 It's just there's just not very many good football players on that football team right now. Mm-hmm. You guys are all 74:00 We could we could still win the NFC. What do we think about Tanner McKee? Should we I we should call? Yeah, let's call pug 74:07 Let's call pug. Yeah 74:10 Brighten up our spirits. Yeah 74:13 Would you like me to say what I think while we wait or no? Yeah, go ahead 74:17 Actually, let's wait Joe. Joe mill. But at least be fine. Yes. He would be a lot of you would be fine 74:24 You want to see a piece of good show? 74:26 Punks just live in his life now. 74:28 Yeah, Punks is a Sunday night. 74:29 Punks is a pun. 74:29 He might be in bed. 74:30 Yeah, he could be in bed. 74:31 It actually is. 74:33 It's late. 74:34 The call has been made. 74:35 Yeah. 74:35 I think he might be in bed. 74:36 Oh, the second he was no longer doing part of my take 74:39 on Sundays, he takes full advantage. 74:42 Yeah. 74:42 Go to bed early. 74:43 Why not? 74:43 He probably goes to the brewery, taps in, 74:46 and then watches the Eagles, 74:49 and then goes to bed at like 9 o'clock. 74:51 Joe Milton one time threw an orange, 74:52 106 yards in the air. Yeah. This is what I'll say about Tanner 74:56 Kee. Uh, I think this week was pretty hectic. It was, you know, he didn't have a full week 75:02 of prep. There's a lot going on. A lot of scary things going on in the quarterback room. 75:07 Wait, what? Okay. This down hurts. What do you mean? 75:10 Yeah, yeah. No, I just... Here's a medical condition. 75:12 No, no, it is, but it's scary things like he was scared. 75:16 I don't know. Yeah. Okay. There's a lot going on. 75:19 one. Okay. He's got to get a full week of prep before Cowboys next week. I still believe 75:28 in Taneriki. I think that he will be better. He can be better. There were times that he 75:33 didn't look terrible today. The O-line is still bad. It's just not a very good football 75:39 team. BFT's guys have had a race. Yes, Mr. Comiteur. 75:41 Hey, yeah, Max. It's Mr. Comiteur. First of all, congratulations on the sixth or 75:46 season starting. You just elegantly pivot into being a big LeBron fan now. But when it 75:52 comes to the Eagles, there's a lot of chatter around their coach, Nick Siriani. And how do 75:57 you weigh Nick Siriani's performance as a head coach, given that they've lost four straight 76:01 games for the first time under his tenure, versus the injuries that he's had to deal 76:06 with and overcome? I'll take my question offline. I think Oh, Pugs calling me back. 76:13 Okay, pug 76:15 Hey, we're taping PMT right now. We had to we had to call you about Tanner McKee. What'd you think? 76:22 It's not the best day, but not everybody can play lights out every Sunday 76:27 I mean you're the number one Tanner McKee guys, so we what we had to talk to you I 76:37 Mean 76:43 A bad operation right now J1 Tanner doesn't matter to reach that operation. Oh, we're not Joe. What if it was Joe? 76:49 No, we're not Joe Milton 76:53 No Joe what a hater, I mean 76:58 Yeah 77:04 Okay 77:04 Okay, what do you think about what do you think Tanner McKee just needed a week where there was you know 77:13 Maybe a settled-down week where he's practicing with the ones no scary stuff happening 77:17 Yeah, I mean look it only gets better from here like now. He's got time more time with the ones like it might even look 77:24 Even better next week, so right right it could also look worse 77:35 Yeah 77:35 Do you think the Eagles can still win the NFC East? 77:46 All right 77:48 All right, we love you pug. Thank you for giving us ten of love you bug 77:53 Is a good boy 77:55 Oh boy 77:56 It looked fine. It looked fine everything like fine, but also the offense looks like shit. Yeah, but it's fine 78:03 It's a bad off. It's a bad operation. It's a bad operation all around. Yeah, the defense does the the defense 78:11 They keep you in it and then and then there's so many three and outs 78:15 They just have to be on the field for so long so long so long that eventually they're just gonna break 78:20 Mm-hmm. Yes. I maxed PFT counter for my part of my take 78:24 Can I refer you to my previous question about Nick Sirianni evaluating Nick Sirianni as a head coach weighing it against all the injuries? 78:34 Today was tough to tell. It's just bad. It was just there's just bad football players out there 78:39 Yeah, and then there was a moment where I think it was like it felt like three plays in a row 78:43 Devante Smith goes down 78:45 Dantevian wicks goes down Jordan Davis goes down 78:48 Yeah, I know it couldn't be three plays in a row because that was two offensive players and one defensive player, but it felt like three players 78:56 Listen, Siriani 78:58 first four game losing streak of his career 79:01 Taddle no man, like it's hard. It's hard to even be mad. The players are bad. They're bad football players right now 79:08 I read that this is the first time since 1999 that the Eagles haven't had 250 yards of offense in four straight games 79:14 Oh bad operation by the operation. Yeah, they just got bad 79:17 players right now 79:19 Have you do you have a little comfort in knowing that you kind of can give up? 79:25 I'm not giving up yet. Oh, okay beat the Cowboys next week. Anything can happen. I need the Packers to win this game 79:31 Yeah, the NFC East not like anyone's dominating. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, you can still win the NFC East, right? 79:36 Yes, yeah, I thought so but now the pug kind of 79:39 He said no, I don't know if I'm going to leave that anymore. 79:41 He absolutely said no. 79:42 I mean, you've got a finger on the pulse. 79:44 If the Cowboys lose this game and beat the Cowboys next week, 79:46 you're right there. 79:47 Yeah, right there. 79:49 Yeah, yeah. 79:50 The defense is, I still believe in the defense. 79:52 Your defense is good. 79:53 You've still got all the good players. 79:55 I don't think Victor is going to forget 79:57 how to coach overnight. 79:59 When is he coming back? 80:00 Great question. 80:01 Hopefully next week. 80:02 I believe he'll come back for Monday Night Football 80:05 next week. 80:05 Need him, need him. 80:06 Oh, that's Monday Night Football? 80:07 Paul yeah, I'll be in I'll be in the house. Oh hell. Yeah 80:11 We shout out tick-pick shout out tick-pick Panthers. Look, I mean Bryce Young is playing well 80:16 I know he didn't have like the most efficient day, but 80:19 Bryce Young's playing well this season Panthers off by win a game that they should win 80:24 Against a bad Eagles team currently first time that can now let's get to win off a buy and Chubba Hubbard 80:30 Oh Dak is such a big stupid picks guy. Yeah 80:33 God damn it. Oh, that's the best. I fucking love that guy. He's right. So bad and right there. What is that throw back? 80:40 Yeah, cuz such a big stupid picks how many how many package fans you think that's gonna try to get fired. I'll take you over now 80:48 Man 80:51 Dommas 80:53 Yeah, good for Carolina. Good for Carolina can Alice's first 80:57 went off a buy. I think of his career as a head coach. And then Jalen 81:00 Koker's just Jalen Koker's just good. We need to start appreciating 81:03 Koker. He needs to be talked about like one of the group of very, very, I 81:08 don't know if he's a great wide. He's a very, very good wide receiver right 81:11 now. And Chuba Hubbard looks like he's back. Like he's had two really nice 81:15 games in a row. I agree. Jalen Koker's awesome. Then he cleaned up 81:19 with some penalties though. Yeah. Also, they tried to pants Dallas 81:22 Goddard that was fucked up is that a is is that a flag for flagging I think there 81:26 was a holding on it there was yeah 100% yeah I mean he was running around that's 81:30 that you can't you can't holding up he was holding on to his pants you can't 81:33 pull a guy's pants what can you take your own pants off 81:36 really boss you ever seen that like it ever anymore I've seen that like a fight 81:40 clip a guy just like gets naked real quick and the other guy runs away it's 81:43 a good form of self-defense yeah what uh so Jalen hurts on the IR so he's 81:49 You should be out for the rest of the year. What's the situation? I don't know. Okay. I don't have to tell you man. Okay. Well 81:55 You said it you're going you go Monday night PFT. Do you have you have an ad for tick-pick Monday night? 82:00 You'll be in the building. I will be in the building Monday night 82:04 We got a couple more weeks to tanner tanner a case see if we can stand the fight 82:09 Well, you're going to the game. You want you want bazooka Joe? No, I want tanner. I want tanner 82:14 You want Bazooka Joe in that? 82:15 You're going to be in the stands drunk being like, 82:18 Bazooka Joe. 82:19 Yeah. 82:20 The first, the first like, it's going to be third and eight 82:23 and you're going to throw a four yard out 82:25 and you're going to say, they need to put Joe Milton 82:28 in the fucking sky. 82:29 Joe Milton's a fucking fluffy eagle. 82:31 I want Bazooka Joe when, 82:34 I still have a little bit of hope in the season. 82:36 I want Bazooka Joe when I've lost all hope 82:38 in the season and maybe be like, 82:40 maybe he could bring me back and be like, 82:42 if the season is going to suck, 82:43 At least Bazooka Joe will be fun. The Tennessee Titans, based on what we said 85:00 on I think Friday show are technically good because they beat the grocery stick team. 85:04 I thought about this. Yeah. You can make the argument the Colts kind of beat themselves. 85:09 Oh, so with that, that would mean that the Colts are a bad team because they lost to the Colts. 85:14 Oh yeah. They're really bad and the Titans. Yeah. So credit to Tennessee. They won a game. 85:19 Congratulations. Enjoy it. Yeah. I don't know how many more times it's going to happen this 85:24 year, but you get a victory Monday. On Monday, you get to listen to sports talk radio. You 85:31 get to turn on ESPN without living in fear of getting blindsided by an accidental highlight 85:36 of you getting your teeth kicked in. Yeah, so enjoy it. 85:39 Their defense was awesome, opportunistic. This is their first win in the AFC South 85:47 in 12 tries. So November 11 game losing streak in the AFC South, dating back to November 24, 2024. 85:56 They break that. Six game losing streak against the Colts. They break that. Seven game losing streak 86:03 dating back to December 2025. They break that. Four game road losing streak back to December 2025. 86:10 They break that. It wasn't pretty. Cam Ward was still not good. 86:15 Cardinal Tate actually is good. So you I think the Titans did a good job with that pick, but their defense did it 86:22 They forced fumbles. They made Daniel Jones be an idiot. They block punts. I was looking at it 86:29 I was looking back the the Titans had scored 26 points and 86:35 On those on their their drives to score points 86:40 were 158 yards total. 86:42 So they had a 22 yard field goal drive, 86:45 a 51 yard field goal drive. 86:46 This is all because of, you know, 86:47 like a fumble and interception. 86:49 They got a punt return, 86:50 that a 58 yard punt return 86:52 that led to a 28 yard touchdown drive. 86:55 They blocked a punt. 86:56 Their last field goal was a five yard drive. 87:00 They didn't have to do a lot on offense 87:01 because Jeffrey Simmons was an absolute beast. 87:03 He was double teamed. 87:04 I saw the stat, he was double teamed 24 times. 87:07 He had two sacks and seven pressures. 87:09 I think they all came when he was being double teamed. 87:12 So he's just a monster of a man. 87:15 And the Titans were outgained $399 to $186. 87:22 11 first downs is what they had total. 87:25 Doesn't matter. 87:26 The Titans won a football game. 87:27 And that's got to feel good. 87:29 Robert Salah gets his first win in Tennessee. 87:33 Good for the Titans. 87:34 I'm happy for Titans fans. 87:35 They've been through how we were talking about the hell they've been through obviously this doesn't change like big picture 87:40 But like you said once one Monday, they aren't the laughing stock one Monday. They they can they could turn on the TV 87:48 And they could be like hey, you know what? We want a football game winning a football game is hard to do 87:52 They want a football game they get to wake up and have a victory Monday, and they gave they've coached a game ball 87:58 Yeah, it said congratulations. You deserve this 88:02 They're the return games always been like Jamira DK is actually a pretty good return. Yeah 88:06 So he had a good punt return. He had some good kickoff returns as well today 88:09 The the Colts I have a I have a theory about Daniel Jones. I think he's extremely unhealthy right now 88:15 Oh, I think he's just bad because he's always been pretty bad outside of like a couple like really good runs 88:22 But not as a career. His his career has not been good to start the season last year. He was really really good 88:27 Yeah, no, I said a couple tours Achilles. Yeah. And the Achilles is 88:32 something that takes a long time to fully come back from. I'm not 88:35 saying that Daniel Jones is going to be like I was a six and two 88:38 last year. He's not a guy that's going to take your team to 13 88:41 and four. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying he's not as bad 88:44 as as he has been playing. But I think that our expectation of 88:49 somebody coming off an Achilles is it's a it can be 88:52 skewed sometimes. What outside of his one good year for the 88:56 Giants makes you think that he's going to be a top of top 10 top 15 quarterback. 89:02 The NFL, I would say probably about exactly somewhere between 12 and 15. 89:06 He could be, but he's now he had one really, really good year with Brian 89:11 Dable and other than that, he's pretty much the same to start the season last 89:15 year. Yeah. No, I'm saying, yeah, besides that and the one good year, the 89:19 rest of his career has been pretty much the same. That's why I was thinking 89:22 that where it's like I I would trust more the times when he's not looked very good versus the 89:28 couple times that he has looked a little bit above average. I was just thinking for the Colts in 89:34 this offense. It's pretty similar team to what it was last year. I think he's not as bad as he's 89:40 played this year is what I'm getting at. Now if you look at his winning percentage it says 89:43 everything's not on a not on a quarterback. I believe Anthony Richardson has the same 89:48 winning percentage for the Colts as Daniel Jones does. 89:51 Yeah, I didn't, going into this season, I was, I mean, 89:56 I've never been like the biggest Daniel Jones believer. 89:58 I just don't understand. 90:00 Like the Colts as a franchise need to blow it all up. 90:03 They, like, Daniel Jones is not your quarterback. 90:06 Chris Bowler is not your GM. 90:07 Shane Stikin, you could say could be a good coach 90:10 somewhere else, but he got screwed 90:11 by being in this poisonous organization. 90:14 I feel bad for Colts fans 90:16 because they are just the exact same team every single year 90:21 and it's not a good product. Chris Ballard is in his 10th season as a GM. 90:26 He's 72, 82, and one in those 10 years. 90:30 So nine, nine plus six games this year. He has been to two playoffs, 90:37 one playoff win and he's never won the AFC South. 90:41 The AFC South. And I know you're thinking right now, 90:44 Oh the Jaguars in the the Texans look good. No, no those teams were like have not been historically good 90:50 It's been a very gettable division. Chris Ballas never won it as a GM 90:56 Colts fans have to you lost set to flow set to flow is gone. He said he's like he's you got a what was exact 91:03 We I think he's exact we reset the shoe reset the shoe. It's over. You can't lose this game 91:09 I know like statistically 91:11 You dominated the Titans 91:14 You can't lose this game. 91:15 You can't lose to a team that hasn't won in the division in like two years. 91:21 I wonder what the all time record is for longest interdivision losing streak 91:25 because 11 games has got to be close. 91:28 It's yeah, I can't I can't think of any other teams that have Hank is looking up that. 91:32 But I but that. 91:33 So I know what you're saying. 91:35 Like Daniel Jones has come back from injury. 91:37 I get that kill. 91:38 He's pretty serious, but you can't you if you're a cults fan, 91:41 you have to demand for everything to change. 91:43 You can't be like it's because of Daniel Jones Achilles because that's kind of what what has happened for the Colts the last decade 91:48 Is they basically the entire time have been like well 91:51 Andrew Luck retired early and then we had to get Phil Rivers and then we had to get Matt Ryan and then we had to 91:56 You know do this and that and another style Jacob percent stopgak quarterbacks 92:00 Oh, and then we're gonna get Daniel Jones and he was pretty good for a few games 92:04 And then he he hurt himself which that sucks, but you gotta just blow the whole thing up 92:08 It's like none of it works. All your guys are old. I don't even know who you could trade at this point 92:15 It sucks for Colts fans. I I feel I feel like I have to have to stick up for him because 92:21 like 92:22 Indianapolis is not a major market, so they're not gonna lead get up 92:25 They're not gonna lead like the national sports shows 92:28 But there should be if this were any other like if there's a big market franchise 92:32 People would be like how the fuck does Chris Ballard still have a job? 92:35 How the fuck is this thing still going ten years where it's the exact same every year can't win a division can't win the division 92:43 It's uh, it's pretty set the shoe. It's pretty ridiculous. That's set the flow 92:47 Well, it's he also bears some responsibility in this because everything went sideways after he apologized 92:55 Yeah, I mean those weren't that good last year. I mean, I know they were I think they were six and two 93:00 I know but they were never to flow apologize for getting too violent. What do you say? 93:05 We have to we have to break someone's knee shove it up Roger's ass. Yeah shove it up Roger's pooper and 93:11 You never apologize, but I think that's their most the most dangerous thing the Colts could do 93:17 And I I think most Colts fans probably agree with me here 93:19 It's like to be like well 93:20 We were six and two last year and if Daniel Jones can get healthy 93:23 Maybe we can read no no that that was not that this team is not 93:27 sustainable long-term this team is not good long-term you have you have to 93:32 change everything I'm mostly saying that I don't think that Daniel Jones is is 93:36 the biggest problem that they have I think they've got they've got no it's 93:40 a long list of problems in any that they need to address and I don't I don't 93:46 even really know where you begin to start but probably they're gonna go 93:48 through a coaching change that's offseason you have to imagine that 93:51 you have. And listen, there's certain ways to do things in the NFL. I think we've seen 93:57 that probably the worst possible way to do it is to keep your general manager and then 94:02 have that person hire a new coach. And then you fire the general manager and you keep 94:07 the coach. And then you bring in a new general manager who didn't hire that coach. 94:11 And so then everything's off kilter for about like 10 years. He's already gotten 94:15 two new coaches. I would say ours already gotten two new coaches. I would say I would 94:18 say, get rid of everybody if you're going to get rid of one of them. 94:22 He fired, I think his first year he fired Pagano, got Frank Reich, then fired Frank 94:27 Reich, obviously Jeff Saturday for a minute, then Shane Steichen. He's, he survived a million 94:33 quarterback changes drafting Anthony Richardson with the fourth overall. I mean, he's, it's 94:38 insane that he, they haven't won the division in 10 years. What other GM gets that? Like 94:48 Is it miss or say right now? 94:49 Is she the buck stops here? 94:51 Yeah, I mean, when did when did Jim Hersey pass away? 94:54 Was it during last season or was it the beginning 94:55 of last season? 94:56 So I would, I would assume that she probably didn't want 94:58 to make a decision. 94:59 Yeah. 94:59 So it was right before the beginning of last season. 95:04 What? 95:05 Yeah. 95:06 May 21st. 95:07 Oh, so it's after last. 95:08 It was game one of the Eastern Conference finals 95:10 two years ago. 95:11 Yeah. 95:11 So it was right before the beginning of last season. 95:13 Like, like before like training camp 95:14 and all that stuff. 95:15 Got it, got it, got it, got it. 95:16 So I could understand not making a change last year totally get that now. You got to make a change because it's crazy 95:23 She's I mean she said almost that she basically is it intimated that yeah, but it's just I think it's stuck in answer 95:30 Have just had been through it's like a it's a different type of hell than the Titans fans 95:34 It's Titans fans have just had to deal with just rock bottom 95:37 Colts fans have just been being sold this like junk over and over and being like well 95:44 We're kind of if you look at it sideways, maybe you know eating now. Oh, we went nine and eight 95:48 Oh, they get they won four games that finish the season. You don't fuck 95:52 You know, they could have gotten hot and gotten in the dance like it's just that over every year 95:57 And and maybe this is a blessing that you guys are 96:00 Are gonna be bad this year. I think that this loss in particular is a good thing 96:05 It's terrible. It's embarrassing if you're colts fan. It's this has got to be rock bottom 96:10 But it's a good thing I think long term that you lost to the Titans 96:13 that you were the team that gave and the Titans honestly like they 96:17 They weren't that good on offense today. They're bad on offense again today 96:21 But you lost to them and if you're gonna have a if you're gonna have a loss 96:25 It might as well be a really bad loss for a team that's in in this position 96:29 if you had gone on being the grocery stick and 96:32 Yeah, and you beat every team that is truly at the bottom of the league 96:37 for example, the commanders, you beat those types of teams, then guess what? That's going 96:41 to keep everybody, it's going to keep you stuck in the quicksand of mediocrity for a 96:45 very long time. A blow it up loss is going to be one that you can look back on and say 96:50 that was the best way that we could have lost, even though it sucked at the time. 96:54 Yeah. If you won this game, you would have been three and three and you would have been 96:56 telling yourself, oh, shit, like they got a chance. No, just it's bad. It's bad. 97:02 It's a tough watch. 97:03 at least they've got Indiana. Yeah. I didn't go well. The 97:08 Marsh. I still can't believe that. But in general. Yeah. In 97:12 general. If you're a coach then you're probably also a high 97:15 percentage. Purdue. Indiana football. Purdue actually had 97:18 like for the first time in a long time they had some positive 97:22 momentum and then lost to Washington's back up on Friday 97:25 night. So that wasn't good. Uh okay. Last early game 97:31 Saints 34 Giants 27, Shuck wins, three touchdowns, gritty effort, he's been playing with a broken 97:40 hand, his off hand, but he's got two broken bones in his hand. We had like a little Alvin 97:46 Camara throwback on that screen. The Saints, it was really the end of the first half where 97:53 I don't like going forward on fourth down at the end of a half because like we've talked 97:59 about. You don't get the benefit of giving the other team bad field position. But I think 98:03 Kelly Moore was in a desperate situation where he's like, we have to do something because 98:07 they started slow again, where they're down seven, nothing almost instantly. But that 98:12 was the change in the game. It was they scored at the end of it. They went for it 98:15 on fourth down, scored at the end of the first half to tie it 10, 10, then scored 98:19 first drive, second half, 17, 10. Then James listen, I just started charting 98:25 interceptions. I don't think any of those interceptions were on 98:28 James. We have to wait for the all 22. Yeah, but yeah, I saw it. 98:32 I don't even need to wait for the ult. There was a there was one 98:35 where was it was at neighbors that was coming back to the 98:37 ball. Yeah, he didn't put his hand. He did everything except 98:39 just put his hands up and so it kind of just went past him 98:41 and then another one where again, I I don't really care 98:45 to watch it again. I guess I will watch the all 22 because 98:48 I have to it's my job. Yeah. But I'm just gonna say that 98:53 James did a great job getting his backup prepared for this game. Yeah. Because then JJ McCarthy 98:58 came in and had this is why we got to have defined roles like closers in baseball. JJ McCarthy 99:04 in the fourth quarter 18 comes in and just lit the world on fire. Yeah, he came in his 99:11 fourth pass I think was an interception that after that he was 11 for 21 for 243 yards 99:17 in a touchdown it was he was he what was his yardage in the fourth quarter he 99:25 like 180 in just in the fourth quarter alone JJ yeah 242 242 yeah it was all 99:31 yeah damn that probably not probably not great for James that that happened no 99:39 I'd say no because if you're Harbaugh and I think Harbaugh has called JJ 99:42 McCarthy a mix of Michael Jordan and Abe Lincoln hmm so that's gonna be tough 99:47 That's a good one. A hard boss says your quarterback's really good. Yeah, do I have permission to say a stat that was given to me that is not I did not go seek out but I was given an ass to say on the show. Mm hmm. What's the stat? 100:01 JJ McCarthy in the fourth quarter had more passing yards than Jane Daniels has had in the past two years. Oh no. Okay. I didn't really play that last year. 100:14 Well JJ McCarthy just played one quarter. Yeah, it's a great quarter. That's all 100:18 gave you that. JJ had a great quarter. There's this guy who's like a really really big JJ 100:22 McCarthy fan. Oh wow. That feels like a somewhat unnecessary shot. I agree. I'm just I'm just 100:28 over here trying to tread water. Maybe not get blown out of money at a football my my 100:32 own business. Wait so did Jane Daniels or or nine play more in the fourth quarter 100:37 last year probably probably JJ how many games did you play last year to yeah 100:44 yeah he played Jane didn't really play that much last year yeah it's not a huge 100:49 sample size yeah it feels unnecessary cuz I'm like a means that I'm also a JJ 100:55 fan yeah I'm a nine fan I'll tell I'll tell Greer I mean he's better because 101:01 yeah there's a lot of reasons that he's better right now but that's okay the 101:05 The pace that JJ was on, I did see this tweet that right after he got in after the first 101:10 two drives, he was on pace for 1,325 yards, 142 rushing yards and five touchdowns. 101:16 Wow. 101:17 Not long after he entered the game. 101:19 Wow. 101:19 Well, and also, would it be five picks as well? 101:23 Also five interceptions, yes, which would be, I mean, what an incredible game that 101:26 would be. 101:27 That would be an insane game. 101:29 We have a doghouse alert. 101:30 Oh, yeah. 101:31 Yeah. 101:31 John Harbaugh's got a doghouse and Camp Scatiboo is firmly locked up in there right now. 101:37 He's licking his own butt in there. 101:39 He's been trapped in that doghouse and the worst part is Harbaugh's kind of denying that 101:44 it's a doghouse. 101:45 He's just saying, I'm trying to figure out what the right flow of running back usage 101:49 is going to be for a rotation. 101:51 Scatiboo had zero carries. 101:53 It's the doghouse. 101:54 We're in the doghouse for fumbling. 101:56 I also think it was weird. He did get in the kicker's face when he missed a fuel goal last week 102:01 And then right after that he proceeded to fumble and overtime. Yeah, I don't think that you can do both those things 102:06 Yeah, and for you know, whatever reason he's in the doghouse. I don't know how you get out of a hardball doghouse 102:13 The only way to get out of like Belichick's doghouse would be if there was like an injury ahead of you 102:18 Yeah, and you were forced he was he was forced to against his better judgment have to hand you the football again 102:23 But I don't know how you get out of this doghouse because it seems pretty ironclad. Yeah, it doesn't it doesn't feel good 102:29 He cams got to admit it. He said I got punished for what I did last week 102:33 I understand it. So I got to be ready when coach calls my name and that wasn't today. That's tough 102:37 I think he had six snaps zero carries. Yeah 102:42 Man, I think this is just culture. He's hard. I was doing the culture setting. Yeah 102:46 He's using cams guy. He probably took told him to the side. He was like listen, man 102:51 I gotta make a I gotta make an example out of someone here. You're gonna be the guy 102:56 But imagine how imagine how good scatter was gonna be when he gets out of the doghouse 103:00 Oh, like if you ever crazy you've ever been on vacation and then you come back and you see your dog for the first time 103:05 I want to go as nuts and it means I guess the zoomies scatter was gonna have the zoomies when he gets when he finally gets let 103:11 out. Yeah, he was he would be fun to see him back, but good for the Saints 103:16 By the way, I got the update on killing more gave five game balls today feels like a little muted 103:23 I think there's gonna be more. I feel like he should have given more game balls 103:27 Okay, number one you have to give one to miss Benson. Mm-hmm. Just gotta yeah kiss ass a little bit play the game 103:33 I did see that he gave one to their left guard David Edwards 103:37 He got to get a game ball and the reason why was because he was asking to run the quarterback sneak at the goal line 103:44 Oh, so he called that play and Kelly Moore was like game ball. That's game. Nice. One less plaid call 103:50 Exactly. Alvin Kamara also got a game ball because he deserved he joined the 5000 yards club 103:56 I'm assuming that's 5000 yards receiving and 5000 yards rushing. It is of course of his career. It's actually 104:02 Kind of crazy because I think there's only six. I think there's only five other guys in that club 104:09 Yeah, so players with 5,000 yard plus yards rushing 5,000 plus yards receiving an NFL history 104:15 Lenny Moore, Marcus Allen, Marshall Falk, Tiki Barber, Christian McCaffrey, Alan Camara. 104:21 Yeah, six guys. Yeah, that is pretty that's game ball worthy for sure. And who I don't think 104:27 Shuck got one. Hold on. I have the list. It's fucked up. I know. Emerson got one. 104:33 He's playing with a fucking broken hand. Martin Emerson got one. He intercepted 104:36 James and JJ. Yeah. And then, uh, Isaiah Stalbert and Julian Blackman. Okay. So we 104:43 need, but it just, I, uh, tell him more. I think maybe he's a little nervous about his 104:46 job, dude. Come on. We're not going to make fun of you. Give more game balls. This might 104:50 be like, uh, if, if you're nervous about your job, you're, you're afraid of being 104:54 accused of workplace theft. Yeah. So you don't want to like give away too much 104:57 merch. It could be used against you. It's a big win for the saints though. It 105:02 felt like they were in a bad spot reeling and they went straight to Paris, which 105:06 I think is beautiful this time of year really nice or an inquiry we 105:11 That's an international probably the number one game. What's I was going to you should go. You know what? Yeah, go 105:16 I'll pay for yeah. Yes. We'll pay for you to go to Paris this weekend 105:21 Come on. Yeah, France. Yeah. All right. You got it. All right. Go run around 105:27 All right, great 105:29 Go. Oh, yeah, I'll leave tomorrow. Okay. Okay. Cool 105:32 So you leave tomorrow then come back Thursday night for Bears Patriots then leave back for Paris 105:38 Oh, yeah, yeah 105:40 I'll go scout go over there. See what's going on. Yeah, gotta lay in the land 105:45 Get a lay of the land who's gone with the Crohn's wife, too. Mm-hmm cool 105:51 Never been to France. This is excited. Love a huge report. Have you ever been to Europe? 105:55 Yeah, when I was like when I was a you and you went with Clem. Oh, yeah 106:01 Yeah, I went to Lafayette as an adult. Yeah, I went to England and Scotland and Wales. How old are you? 106:09 Like 12. That's pretty cool. What kind of golf do you think they have in France? 106:14 I don't know. Probably some, there's a couple of French guys. Maybe you just bring your clubs and 106:19 walk right down, you know, what's it called? Champs-Elysees? Yeah, Champs-Elysees. I'm here 106:25 for the golf. I've got my money and I'm here for the golf. Yeah. Okay. They're pretty much 106:34 having a parade over there. You love parades. Yeah, you do. All the daps. Yeah, so many 106:38 daps. It'll probably be kisses, but yeah. I got your flights. Oh, perfect. Well, I found 106:44 your flights. It's $2,300. No pro anything for a guy Hank. You kidding me? But you're 106:49 gonna have to miss Sunday show. It looks like no, no. He loves doing Sunday show 106:53 And also Thursday, you'd have to leave. Well, no, he's gonna come back. I'll come back. I mean Hank 106:58 Hank loves being here when the Patriots aren't playing 107:01 I do just it's locked in. Mm-hmm. It's not more probably more. Yeah. Will you be here next Sunday? Yeah 107:08 How do you say hungry dog in French? What time? 107:12 Hungry the shit 107:15 Shea fan 107:17 I don't know probably like half time. Okay early games. Yeah, the Saints are I believe eight no 107:28 against the spread in their last eight road games. Hmm. So they always cover away from the dome. The 107:33 dome has not been good to them. The dome Cummings the dome sweet dome. It's not hasn't been a good 107:37 place for the Saints recently but they've been they've been okay on the road. So they were 107:42 There were favorites in this game, right? 107:44 Yeah, one and a half. 107:45 I'm trying to think, it's probably not very common 107:48 for this late in the season, 107:50 a team that's last place in their division 107:53 to be favorites on the road against a team 107:56 that's first place in theirs. 107:58 That's just, that already happened though. 108:01 The Giants were favorites over the, 108:03 or the Cardinals were favorites over the Giants. 108:05 Yeah, no one respects the Giants. 108:07 The books hate the Giants. 108:08 I mean, listen, they're in first place 108:11 and the NFC East. Yep. By two games in the lost call. Mm-hmm. I mean that's a not 108:19 insurmountable lead, but who's gonna win the NFC? I got I got a weird stat. Big 108:25 game. Who's gonna win the NFC East? Well, if I could just get through like six 108:30 minutes without having Greer give me insult stats and rattle my confidence. 108:35 I'm just trying to not get embarrassed on Monday football. There's a stat 108:39 that I saw about the NFC East because obviously last week happened yada yada yada it was bad 108:46 this week also bad and I believe that it would be the first time since the merger if the 108:54 commanders lose on Monday night football the first time since the merger that a division 108:58 has had no one in their division win a game for two weeks back to back whoa we're looking 109:05 History here. Whoa, what's that look max? That's pretty crazy 109:12 Doesn't incorrect stat what? 109:16 Why do we help you do? 109:18 Eagles won the first two weeks. No, no 109:20 big fucking 109:23 Got it. Got a big dumb animal focus on a big dog. I am a big dumb animal. Come on, dude 109:29 He's in LeBron season that one that one confused you hard. I thought you said no team is one two weeks in a row 109:36 no team 109:38 You can't hear all right forget it 109:42 Rewind the NFC east is a division in the national I know I know I get I get I get I get I get it and 109:48 There are four teams not to keep doing this. I get it Giants 109:51 Fluffy Eagles fall Dallas Cowboys Washington commanders 109:55 Last week none of those teams won. Why because the 110:00 Commanders and the Giants played each other and tied this week the Eagles lost correct the Cowboys lost 110:05 The Giants lost. The commanders have the 49ers on Monday night football where they're heavy underdogs 110:13 If the commanders lose that would be all four teams not winning again for the second week in a row 110:18 And that has never happened at least since the merger. What if you just win? That's what I'm saying great opportunity 110:24 Yeah, or what if what if you don't win and then the next week the Giants lose the Texans and then the Cowboys and the Eagles tie 110:33 Oh, I love that. That'd be fun. Yeah, I want to buy right on a buy 110:37 Wait, so we're that'd be the best buy the buys coming at a good time. Yeah, although you get you're getting screwed 110:43 I know Monday night football to a buy is that's screwed. It's the shortest buy the shortest buy you could possibly have yeah 110:49 And West Coast to coming back. That's bullshit. We're getting fucked. Yeah, at least you don't get a short week though 110:55 Every week short when you're me Max. Hmm 110:58 you do it. Why'd you do that? You do it. You do it. I didn't let you get it. Hmm. He 111:04 snatched it. That's a joke. I wasn't quick enough to think of something like that. Okay. 111:10 Cardinals 18 Rams 16. This was the shocker of the day. The Rams are now two and four. 111:20 The Cardinals are two and oh at Sofi Stadium this year. They have more wins than the 111:25 two teams that play their combined, which is nuts. 111:29 Wait, but the Chargers? 111:31 Yeah, Chargers have none. 111:33 Oh, Rams have one. 111:34 Cardinals have two. 111:37 The Cardinals defense, shout out the Cardinals defense. 111:40 They were incredible today. 111:42 Buda Baker was everywhere. 111:44 Chacova Reset did just enough to get six field goals. 111:48 And there was a questionable call at the end of the game, 111:52 but it doesn't matter because the Cardinals 111:55 like had the Rams in hell. Matthew Stafford in hell. They looked like shit offensively all day. 112:01 Their kicker got hurt. Blake Groupie. Yeah. Blake Groupie. He tried to he tried to jack up 112:07 the returner and Blake Groupie is what 120 pounds. Yeah. And yeah, just got fucked up on that. So 112:13 they had to have the punter step in and try to feel goals. Yeah, good, good for the Cardinals. 112:18 They I mean, what was their what was their over under wins going into the season? Was it 112:22 two and a half nothing was three and a half three and a half but either way big 112:25 win they were 12 and a half point underdogs they've got two of the biggest 112:29 like craziest wins of the year yeah and both in the stadium I guess yeah but 112:34 yeah they're just ruining everybody's survival pools if someone took it still 112:37 had the Rams in it sorry you got fucked again big time Kyron Williams it feels 112:42 like there's some bad vibes going on with the Rams oh yeah and I said this 112:46 last week now the schedule did in theory soften up a little bit for 112:50 the Rams, but they're they're fucking around a little bit too much. And they're running 112:53 out of wiggle room. I think they might just be bad. They might be bad. There's a lot of 112:58 bad vibes. Kyron Williams was asked after the game, why he thought that the Rams couldn't 113:03 sustain the energy drive to drive and why it was so inconsistent. And he said, can't 113:08 tell you bro, probably because I'm not out there. So he's not happy with his usage 113:12 rate. Personally, I think Blake Cormes a pretty good player. So I don't know. 113:18 It's just it's really bad vibes. It could just make me seems like he's not having a good time at all 113:23 No, and and then Devontae Adams might be seriously injured. Oh, he was it was a thing where he was non-contact 113:35 Doctor Dr. Locke would say it's a Achilles when did this happen end of the game into the game literally the last minute 113:43 Yeah, he does that like turn around 113:45 Wait, what did what did what did dr. Chow say? 113:49 The available angle doesn't reveal what happened to it. We're looking for more. Okay 113:54 He did the turnaround. He looked back at it and 113:57 This Twitter doctor says left me verse hamstring. I don't know what that means. It could be either one those kids 114:04 per Hank for me 114:07 But but he's like kind of way is he walking around after no, I don't know. He didn't really do the look back 114:17 back. No, he was Hank. I'm watching it right now. When did he look back? He looked back 114:20 for the ball. He was already looking back. Yeah. Okay. I see what you're saying a little 114:25 bit. Yeah. No, the Rams are in in a certain level of hell right now where the takes are 114:29 flying. I want I want to throw a couple of takes that I saw after the game out to you 114:35 guys and you let me know which one is the hotter take. The first one was from turf 114:41 show times, turf show times, SB nation, Los Angeles Rams community. This is from JB Scott. 114:48 He said, it's time to start tie Simpson. Yeah. He said, we drafted them. You didn't 114:55 need to draft them, but you did. Now there's a QB controversy. Matthew Sever does not look 115:00 sharp this year. I will say that, but it's time. It's time for tie Simpson. What do 115:05 you think? I agree. I agree with it because I would just like to see tie Simpson what 115:09 It looks like yeah, but if I'm trying to win football games. No, absolutely. That's insane. Okay 115:15 This one I really like this is from 115:18 LA sports EL a y e sports. I think he is Adam. He he is a broadcast TV 115:27 LA sports fan. This is what is my favorite hot take I've seen in a while 115:33 Rams need to move on for McVeigh 115:35 not because he's a bad coach but his coaching tree is too big there's too 115:40 many teams that can beat him because they know exactly what the Rams are gonna do 115:44 yeah I love this yep they figured them out but they didn't have to figure them 115:48 out they they didn't have to figure them out they just had to they already knew 115:52 because he told them the league as a whole has figured out McFay because his 115:55 coaching tree has become the only tree he has he has coaching tree sons he 116:02 branches everywhere and the branches have gained what is it sentient thought 116:08 and they're now fighting back and they know every single move he's gonna do 116:11 before he does it. I like that. I like that take a lot. There's probably a small 116:16 amount of truth in it. Oh definitely a little bit. He's changed. He has changed 116:20 the league for sure. The way the Cardinals were playing defense against 116:23 the Rams, Michael Ford definitely knew what he was doing in terms of making 116:28 Stafford uncomfortable. They were going after, I think they had a shuffle and offensive line or 116:32 someone was hurt. Uh, they were blitzing the hell out of them. Like you could see McVeigh was, 116:37 was trying to out that specifically, do you guys remember that fourth down like fourth and six? 116:42 It felt like the entire second and a half was the Rams like, oh, here come the Rams are finally 116:47 going to do it. Nope. Turn over on downs. Cardinals punt again. Oh, here come the Rams. 116:51 So there was one of those sequences where I think it was like fourth and eight and they 116:55 tried to do a Kyron Williams screen. Yeah. That was like it was it was like a he 117:02 threw it. Stafford had to throw the ball like your fourth and eight and he threw 117:05 the ball ten yards short of the sticks. And I think that might have been one of 117:09 those moments where McVay was like I don't know what the fuck to do to keep 117:12 coming after me. I got to figure this out. And so yeah maybe this guy's right. 117:17 And it's just that any team that's ever called the dream team before the 117:20 season starts it's not going to work out. Yeah. It's not going to be like 117:23 like you thought it was going to be. 117:24 Namdee Asanwa. 117:25 You can't say, you can't say dream team in the NFL. 117:28 No. 117:28 And Steve Nash on the Lakers. 117:30 The best part about all this is that McVeigh has to sit, I think it's, I think it spirals 117:35 for him because he's got the photographic memory. 117:38 Yeah. 117:38 So the way the season started in Australia, he just had a whole new roll of decks of 117:43 shitty play memories. 117:45 Yeah. 117:45 That takes up space in his head and then it snowballs and now he's, he's just 117:49 got the Ram is full inside of his head. And I think I think I think they'll be fun dog 117:56 ship. Very bad for it than eight. He throws it 12 yards short of the sticks on a screen. 118:02 I think that they'll make the playoffs. I don't want to take that back. I don't think they'll 118:05 be fine. I think they will make the playoffs and this might be the end of the line for 118:09 the Stafford. I don't know now. I think maybe wildcard. 118:12 I thought they were going to make the playoffs because I thought they were going to start 118:14 ripping off wins. And now, I mean, it's the whole time we've been saying that, oh, it's 118:22 going to be three teams from the NFC West, right? Well, what if it's now just three teams 118:28 from the NFC North instead? I mean, the NFC North has every team is, you know, is the 118:34 Vikings five and O Packers four and two bears four and two Lions three and two 118:37 want to buy. Yeah. So there are already two games behind in the 118:43 lost column for the from the entire NFC North. Now obviously 118:46 when NFC North starts playing each other, that's going to change 118:49 a little bit. But yeah, 118:52 when was the last time that there that that McVeigh had a 118:55 player that was like openly hostile to him to the media like 118:59 Karen Williams appears to be I would say openly hostile but at 119:03 the very least, like openly passive aggressive. I don't know. 119:06 I don't know I don't know how he handles something like that because I don't think it's a credit to him that 119:11 We really haven't seen that much of that. Yeah 119:14 Did you guys see this one? Did you hear this one? 119:17 Miles Garrett 119:19 really 119:20 Asked to made it a trade from the first place Browns to the last place Rams 119:25 It's good. It's good, right? That's very good. That joke was made 10,000 times today 119:29 When is when is Garrett getting back? I know he's he's really to Halloween 119:33 So he's probably got plans for the next week and a half for sure for sure 119:36 Dude to play. Well, I can't believe we're looking at the playoff picture 119:39 But I guess it's like I mean we're we are a third of the way through the season 119:42 Which is kind of crazy to say because it happened like that. Yeah, but right now if the playoffs started today and 119:50 The AFC would be the chiefs 119:52 One-seed Bills Jaguars Browns 119:55 Patriots five-seed. Oh, wow Hank first Cleveland 119:59 Love it Broncos six Steelers seven 120:03 And then in the NFC it'd be the Niners one Vikings to Panthers three Giants for 120:09 Packers five bears six Lions seven. So that would be the entire NFC north 120:16 That's our NFC north in there right now. That's awesome. I love that. Yeah. Yeah, see ox wouldn't be in I 120:22 Don't think that's how it's gonna end up 120:24 But the point remains that it has been kind of assumed that it's going to be the entire NFC 120:31 Or three teams in the NFC West and then someone else is gonna have to figure out how to sneak in that wild card 120:38 Who doesn't win a division now? It feels like it's gonna be the opposite where it's like maybe three teams in the NFC 120:45 North and someone's gonna have to sneak in from from another division and the Rams have the Raiders 120:51 Next week Raiders, right? Yes Raiders. Is that in Vegas or is that at home desperate team? 120:57 I think it's in Vegas. That's probably good for them. Yeah, I was gonna say they like they're probably be 121:02 There might be more Rams fans that make the trip to Vegas 121:05 Yeah, then there would be because it like Los Angeles is still very much a Raiders town at Raiders 121:10 first Chargers at commanders at Cardinals 121:16 Don't have their bi-week it looks like 121:20 For a while 121:21 When is their bi-week? 121:23 Am I really bad at math? 121:25 I might be mad at math in terms of trying to figure out their week 11. Oh, yeah, their bi-week gets screwed too 121:33 Because they have to do the bi-week and then they get that to play Wednesday 121:39 Before Thanksgiving, which I guess they it's kind of like you get to buy because then you get full Thanksgiving after 121:47 This game yeah, probably is yeah, probably means that we're one week even further away from seeing Carson Beck 121:53 Yeah, I'd say so. Yeah, I'd say so. Okay. Why don't you do the last couple ads and then we'll 122:00 finish off with the last two games and then Sunday night football. You find yourself in the center of 123:21 the dance floor. You can't help but stand up. You high-five those around you at the 123:24 game. The room reacts like it just got the same text at the same time. You stop 123:28 checking the time. Suddenly small talk escalates to laughing so hard that you 123:32 can barely catch your breath. That is the Quervo effect. The signal everyone 123:35 understands, a moment that anyone can join, and a good time that just grows. 123:39 All you have to do is keep it Quervo. Hose Quervo. Memes is always saying 123:43 and that feels like everyone just got 123:45 the same text at the same time. 123:47 Boy, is he right? 123:48 Quervo, keep it quervo. 123:50 Okay, we've got the Chiefs 22, Chargers 6. 123:56 Hank, are you ready to be done with the Chargers? 124:00 I am ready to be done with the Chargers. 124:02 I am mentally done with the Chargers, 124:04 but I'm a loyal guy and I can't give it up. 124:09 You bet on the Chargers again today. 124:10 I bet on the Chargers again today, money line. 124:12 They were never close to, well, no, they were close. 124:18 Their offense is horrible. 124:20 Mike McDaniels should have already been fired. 124:23 Well, he's the fall guy. 124:24 It's clear that he's going to be, 124:26 they're going on a buy this week. 124:27 I feel like they're going to make those adjustments. 124:30 Shane was saying that he changed Justin Herbert's footwork. 124:34 That's part of the reason why Justin Herbert has had a bad year. 124:38 I think he also, Justin Herbert, 124:40 I think he is the first quarterback in five years to have an interception in every single game to start a season through week six 124:47 That's not good consistency. That's consistency. I actually came away from this game and the Chiefs are really good 124:54 People don't need to hear us talk about how good the Chiefs are Kenneth Walker's awesome 124:57 Patrick Holmes looks totally fine. This was like a completely non competitive game in the fact that 125:02 outside of Justin Herbert 125:04 throwing an unbelief. He basically had to place the ball from 57 yards away into 125:10 Quinton Johnson's like hands and then they still couldn't get a touchdown on 125:15 starting at the one yard line. Losing Lad McConkie in like the first five 125:18 minutes was bad. Yeah so I I walked away from this game though. I this was the 125:23 first game that I officially and this is not excusing Justin Herbert big 125:27 stupid pick guy. It's the first time I felt bad for Justin Herbert because he 125:31 He might be the source man in the world that one that one hit that he took in the end zone 125:36 Where his knee just went in half, and then he just was still in the game 125:39 I don't know how he's still he also got like hip drops like a real and actual an actual hip drop 125:44 Yeah, like a dirty hip drop right. He just gets 125:48 Annihilated every single game and they suck 125:51 They're so bad, and I think hardball might be the most depressed man in the world 125:55 He's upset they asked him about the the play calling they said I have to ask you point blank 126:00 is Mike going to continue calling plays. He said we're going to look at everything. I feel bad 126:03 for our players, our team, our coaches, our fans. The offense needs to be addressed. That sounds like 126:07 Mike McDaniel fired. That sounds like as close as it gets to a coach telling you that they're 126:14 going to make a make a big change. They do need to make a change too. Their um the turnovers just 126:19 just destroy them because sometimes the chargers move the football a little bit in spite of 126:25 themselves. Yeah, occasionally they can put together decent 126:28 drives. They're actually I think if you look at the stats, 126:31 they're about average on third down in the NFL, like they're 126:35 in the middle of the pack. And then these drives when they do 126:39 have extended drives, they always end in heartbreak. And 126:42 so you've just taken all this time off the clock and 126:45 accomplished absolutely nothing. Whereas some of the other bad 126:48 offenses in the NFL, they at least they typically have the 126:51 good sense to just kind of like give up on a drive early. 126:54 right forget about all that wasted time but the Chargers turnovers they're just 126:59 they're so bad unreal unreal bad and I don't know they they've always been hurt 127:05 feels like the last five years they've been they've been hurt the entire time 127:09 but I don't remember Herbert playing this poorly ever no I mean he's his 127:14 offensive line is garbage and his weapons are near zero and he's bad 127:20 like everything it's a perfect storm to explain how bad they have been they have 127:26 in the fourth quarters this year we're in week six they've scored 13 points in six 127:32 fourth quarters they have seven turnovers in six fourth quarters mm-hmm 127:39 eleven sacks in six fourth quarters it's just like they're just so bad it 127:45 what again I can't stress enough I I don't know if you guys felt the same 127:48 way. I never in a million years thought the chargers after this game started and the chiefs went down 127:55 the field and Kenneth Walker scored a touchdown. I was like that's it. That's the game. Like the 127:59 chargers cannot do anything. Hank kept saying they were in it. No they were never in it. They were 128:05 never in it. The whole time you were fighting. I respect that. And the chiefs are like 128:11 definitely one of those teams that they play to their competition and that once they know 128:15 they have you beat they kind of they're not gonna like try to just absolutely kill you they'll just 128:22 take the air out of the ball the chiefs could have done whatever they wanted today charge couldn't 128:27 score they couldn't score they like you said they had the ball in the one yard line it couldn't 128:31 couldn't score and weren't even really close to score we're banning chargers from our our k-parlain 128:36 i think we have to just all all all it all cannot put any charge and they have a buy next 128:41 week so i can i don't have to worry about them for hungry dog cleanse ourselves from them 128:44 be nice next week actually be really nice yeah I feel like coming off the 128:51 buy they get the Rams I feel that looks like a hungry hungry dog play oh yeah 128:55 they're in already they're gonna win that game do you guys think that this is 129:01 a like a permanent problem is Justin Herbert permanently damaged right now 129:07 or is it like he can get back with the right environment right coaching I 129:12 I don't know. I don't know either. If you asked me this day because if you ask yeah 129:17 I don't know if you asked me two weeks ago. I would have said yeah, he can get back 129:22 But I don't know I don't think now. I don't know now 129:24 I don't know what do you think the price tag would be for Justin Herbert right now. That's what I'm wondering like 129:30 Forth around pick no 129:36 And it fell I feel like they don't you there's no value in players 129:39 Yeah, a year ago order back you would have said a first round. What would JJ? No, I think it's more than a first 129:44 Still definitely a first-round pick. I think it's always JJ McCarthy 129:49 I mean JJ McCarthy was never good in the NFL, but the contract to just in her 129:56 Contracts probably gonna be cheap eventually, you know, like what'd they pay him everywhere? Every every quarterback contract contract goes up 130:04 I'm with Hanks, but it lowers value 130:07 like what that's cuz you want them one of the cults have to give up oh wait me 130:11 want yes I don't know I don't want I don't want to put it out be funny what 130:18 would that be fun just be funny why why it's funny how I don't hope and then how 130:24 funny how they get a quarterback them and I think it's good and he's terrible
