The crown is yours today is Monday, October 12th, week 5. 3:42 Woop, woop, woop, woop, woop. Teer, teer, teer, teer, teer, teer, teer. 3:47 They're not gonna get them. Let me be the first to wish everybody out there a very happy... 3:53 October, October, and we start in London with Max and the Philadelphia Eagles. 4:01 We had across the pond where a beat up Eagles roster had Jalen saying, I'm really hurts. 4:06 Do you think you could get me some help? 4:08 And the only response he got was, you sound like you're in London. 4:13 It was all Jags in the first quarter as Parker George Washington was mossing the 4:18 Delaware County in route to an early lead, but then the Eagles started feasting on both 4:22 sides of the ball with a healthy portion of fish and wicks with a side of jail and tartar 4:27 sauce to get the Eagles back in the game. 4:30 Then to top it off, Darius smooop smoked the Jagd's defense to give the birds the 4:40 lead going into half. 4:41 In the second half, Trevor Jennifer Lawrence was catching fire with Liam Cone's Silver 4:46 Shining playbook and was able to give the Jagd the lead late in the fourth quarter 4:50 But after Britain Coveys blow a good putt return Jake not so smelly 4:56 It hit the game-winning field goal with eight seconds left just kidding big stupid kick Sirianni 5:01 Decided to keep the ball in play allowing the Jags to get into field all-range and win the fucking game eight seconds left 5:07 No timeouts eight seconds left no timeouts eight seconds left no timeouts Eagle's lose fuck me 5:14 thanks Max to Green Bay where the Packers look to raise the little floor of 5:19 their season and get off the mat against the Bears after a playoff loss last 5:23 year and get off the mat they did as they went bombs over Baghdad the actual 5:29 war not the outcast song on the Bears secondary as the Packer faithful said 5:33 they like it they Jordan love it they want some more of it speaking of war 5:38 Tyson beige and orange burnt my eyes out as he struggled to move the 5:42 ball down the field all Sunday long. 5:44 Beating the Bears today was elementary, my dear Christian 5:47 Watson, as a wide receiver scored twice and the Bears 5:50 became a pelt on his wall. 5:52 Packers 31, Bears 7. 5:55 What? 5:56 We go to Miami as Malik Willis Tower season is up in the 6:00 air with about 100 stories of why it looks like he is so 6:04 high. 6:04 But today, it was a throwback as he put the bangles in 6:07 the searing sun. 6:08 Killer Mike Kasicki tried to run the Jules Edelman routes for touchdowns and 6:14 everyone was watching and getting secondhand embarrassment when they saw 6:18 Thrift Chop Robinson pop some flags trying to keep Cincinnati Joe in the 6:23 pocket I'm running oops it might be fumbling this is fucking awesome but 6:29 the Bengals have former giant Tanner miracle on the Hudson who isn't looking 6:35 for Newark anymore after flying out of NYC a while back, and now he's looking forward to 6:41 colliding with the Ravens next week, fresh off a nice smooth touchdown. Joe Barrowthouse has taken 6:48 the franchise run by Dalton and elevated it as the expectations are no longer to get bouncered 6:54 in the first round. Benglis 31, Dolphins 24. We now head to Foxborough where Hank was there 7:00 for the Patriots and Raiders. 7:03 In Foxborough, Demario Pop Smoke Douglas said, 7:07 Raiders, welcome to the party. 7:08 I hit Drake May up, then go round the Rari Rock. 7:12 After catching a 35-yard dot for a touchdown, 7:15 rocket power, Bowers caught a party wave touchdown 7:19 from Kirk Woogity, Woogity, Woogity, Woogity, 7:21 Cousins to tie the score at seven. 7:24 Ramon de George Stevenson rocketed into the end zone, 7:27 followed up by Hunter Henry Lockwood 7:29 scoring a touchdown of his own. 7:30 and dapping up the entire team on the sideline afterwards. 7:34 In the third quarter, Kyle Robin Williams told the Raiders defense, 7:38 it's not your fault, it's not your fault, 7:41 as he skippered by them on the way to the end zone. 7:43 And Drake Frey said, where did I go wrong? 7:48 I scored again. 7:50 Suck on that glant tape, watch you stupid man. 7:55 Let's cut over to the commander's game. 7:58 Oh, no, Jaden the clock is still running 8:04 Patriot win 45 17. Thanks Hank. We go to the meadowlands a soggy meadowlands with means in soggy 8:12 MetLife the jet started off quick as Garrett Clark Wilson was running towards the end zone like a woman touched his driver to give the 8:18 Jets a 7-0 lead 8:19 David Wallace Bailey reinvented himself sacking to Sean Watson three times and telling him to suck it 8:24 Take out your suck it while you suck it. 8:26 Deshaun Watson was shipping up to Denzel Boston 8:28 to give the Browns a lead late in the fourth. 8:31 But Corey Feldman-Borkez had the fat kid from Standby Me 8:35 snapping him the ball and sailed it over his head 8:36 to set the Jets up and field goal range. 8:39 Jets headed up to Breyland Allentown 8:40 for the go-ahead touchdown late. 8:43 The Jets de-smell blood, 8:44 and if it bleeds we can kill it 8:46 as they defeated the Predator 8:47 and told the Browns to go get to the chopper. 8:51 Back to Cleveland, Jets 17, Browns 12. 8:53 Dyke's memes in Pittsburgh where I feel bad for whoever drank the Kool-Aid on the Indianapolis Colts and Daniel Jim Jones 9:02 But you have to know by now. He's not playing like a Guyana 9:06 80 million dollar contract kicker Princess Diana Spencer Schrader had tunnel vision going five for five and 9:13 Tyler Tony Warren was near perfect 9:16 But there was no funny business today for the Steelers and Aaron Roger Klotz dug deep throwing to Patty mayonnaise 9:22 is Friar Muth who easily beats defenders for two scores. 9:26 The real superstar of the day though was Ray Jalen Warren who must have watched the 9:31 tape because there wasn't a hole he was missing. 9:34 He was easily averaging about six and a half soft and finished at the end of the day with 9:39 188 total yards and two scores. 9:41 Steelers 34, Colts 22, down to New Orleans with Zach. 9:47 In New Orleans, Kendra Miller Highlife reminds everyone why he's considered the 9:52 Champagne of running backs with a keg stand-sized rush into the end zone pouring on some points early for the Saints 9:57 Shortly after Kylochab Michael Murray lets the Saints defense know he don't want to be anything other than what he's been trying to be lately 10:07 All I ever do is throw passes to receivers of mine 10:10 And it's caught by Justin Long Jefferson who dodged ducks and dives through defenders like they were a bunch of wrenches for a touchdown in 10:17 Out of nowhere, Miles Teller of Price floats his FA18 Super Hornet 6 yards before pressing 10:22 the big red eject button. 10:24 And the ball is out. 10:26 Yana Senkis babbles the recovery. 10:28 El esta corriendo, el esta corriendo, a la casa, and atorcias puntos. 10:32 Finally, Aaron's run to center, Jones makes a deal with some interest-free football 10:36 for 90 days, taking advantage of the quick guess to score a touchdown to check out 10:40 button. 10:40 Limited lifetime warranty, but big scoring potential. 10:43 Fall savings are here, and so is a Vikings victory. 10:45 3, Minnesota 23, Saints 13. 10:48 Thanks, Zach, to Los Angeles, where 10:50 if you asked me before, would the Chargers win this game, 10:53 I'd say fat chance. 10:55 Because Justin, her Bertolo Cologne, 10:58 has not met expectations, throwing absolute meatballs 11:01 the other team week after week. 11:03 One bright spot for the Chargers was Kamani Vidal Sassoon, 11:08 who looked fabulous, in hair cutting his way 11:10 through the Broncos defense for a score. 11:13 But when the game gets close, 11:14 The big stupid picks guy shows up and Justin Herbert and Ernie played like a muppet 11:20 Fumbling the ball and throwing a pick leaving it wide open for Will 11:24 He is not a klutz to kick Denver to victory are the Broncos back or do they just play the Chargers Broncos 23 11:31 Chargers 17 11:37 Sitting on the corner Jameis Winston in Hoboken such a nine sight to see 11:42 It's JJ, my lord, holding a clipboard, and 9 has turned into 18. 11:50 Come on, Jaden, we're all waitin' On your outcome for your strange, calculating. 12:04 Giants beat the commanders, 27, 27. 12:08 and that was the fastest two minutes for week on the 2026 Silverado at Chevy.com 12:45 Okay week five in the books and special shout out to all the sickos and perverts tuning in today because it's going to be a hell of an episode. 12:55 They're going to love this one. 12:57 Basically everything they wanted and dreamed for if you're a Hank Rider shout out Gazz and Whitney who probably have their pants off. 13:03 Listen to this. 13:04 They're enjoying it. 13:05 They're enjoying it. 13:05 They're mincing themselves. 13:07 They're lubed up. 13:08 But let's get into it, boys. 13:09 We had a crazy. 13:10 Lava hot. 13:11 We had a crazy. 13:12 It's crazy because we had a week five that they're actually 13:15 like weren't that many great games. 13:18 But the moments that happened were very, very memorable. 13:23 There was some stupid, stupid moments. 13:24 Yes. 13:25 A lot of stupidity out there. 13:26 But there were a lot of games in the witching hour 13:27 that had like there were very inconsequential blowout stuff. 13:30 but then there was a few the moments we did have left a lasting imprint and we'll start with 13:38 the Jaguars 19 Eagles 17 the early game the international game 13:44 I'll say this right now what they're doing to our boy max is really mean because now we're back 13:51 to back weeks where the Eagles have gone into a game where they were underdogs where they 13:57 everyone going into it was like they're beat up you know last week they were beat 14:02 up this week Lane Johnson retires trading offensive linemen going across 14:07 the pond two straight weeks they go into a game where they're not supposed to win 14:11 and they end up with 97% or higher win probability and then blow the game 14:18 they basically reel max in to the point where they can fully rip his guts out 14:22 And it happened again with yet again another two field goals under 10 seconds, which I saw the stat from 14:31 1970 the Super Bowl era to 14:34 2026 it had never happened where there were two field goals under 10 seconds to end a game 14:39 It's now happened twice in the 2026 NFL season. Yeah 14:43 Yeah, and the Eagles I mean they just kept going through it too because 14:47 because Shipley got hurt like right off the bat. 14:50 So they were forced to rely on Damian Pierce off the practice squad. 14:54 And listen, I don't think the Eagles played poorly at all. 14:57 I thought that the Jaguars, they probably should have been in a better position to win. 15:00 But the the one not I mean, I think that I think Liam Cohen's a really good head coach. 15:05 I think that he's a really good offensive coach and he's doing stuff that's kind 15:08 of next level. 15:10 And he should get all the credit for elevating the Jaguars what they're doing. 15:13 But he's kind of a dumb ass when it comes to certain situational football ass. He had beans for brains today 15:18 He did he had he had pork and beans for brains. It didn't make a lot of sense the end of the first half 15:24 Made made no sense with the play calling. He was trying to get cute inside like on the one yard line 15:28 Oh, you don't like a jet sweep with Christopher Rodriguez being the lead blocker on the outside with no time left 15:34 I don't like that. No, I don't I'm not afraid to say he was jagging off 15:37 And it was not it was not fun to watch when they just they were playing good football 15:42 And then it seems like they just try to outsmart themselves in the most situationally important parts of the game 15:48 But overall I thought I thought the Jaguars played pretty good today 15:51 I thought that the Eagles played much better than most of us expected 15:55 Well the Eagles defense played while Jalen Carter was an absolute force. Yeah. Yeah, Liam Cohen had two 15:59 Moments to two goal line sets that were just baffling the first was end of half 16:05 To go for it with five seconds left and not take a field goal 16:10 And I get it everyone wants to go for it the whole point though 16:14 And we've talked about this before is that it it makes sense to go for it on goal on fourth and goal on like the one 16:21 When you have the opportunity to back up your opponent 16:24 So your opponent now has to if they can't get a first down they're gonna punt 16:27 You're gonna give good field position at the end of the half. You don't have that 16:31 You you just going forward and not getting the benefit of the field position. So the play calling was crazy a jet sweep 16:38 That took forever that Christopher Rodriguez was the blocker on the outside 16:42 He got absolutely like blown by the guy who he's supposed to block makes the tackle and then fourth and go first and goal on the one 16:50 In the fourth quarter, I believe when they were like, hey, you know what? We got all the way down the field 16:55 Let's go into a weird Wildcat formation. Oh, we got a penalty fall start 17:00 We're gonna go backwards and they just kept on going backwards. That was stupid as well, but max 17:05 How are you doing now that we've removed ourselves by I don't know like eight hours from the game 17:14 Not as bad as I was right after the game, okay, but still pretty fucking bad 17:20 Okay, so the biggest problem obviously and it's a you can tell us who's to blame, but the Eagles 17:27 The the Jaguars miss an extra point to go up to the Eagles go down the field 17:32 kick a field goal with eight seconds left 17:35 to win the game, so to speak. 17:37 And then Jake Elliott, Jaguars have no timeout. 17:41 So it's not even a Ravens Cowboys situation. 17:42 That's what I'm gonna say. 17:43 You brought you. 17:44 Yeah, yeah. 17:44 It's not even a Ravens Cowboys situation. 17:46 They can't, if you can't, if they, 17:49 if the Ravens, I think, downed it 17:52 and then had a big play in the middle of the field, 17:54 called the timeout, hit a tie loop field goal 17:56 to win the game. 17:57 This was no timeouts. 18:00 Just kick it out of the back of the end zone 18:02 to make them do a stupid like fumble rusky play that has a point 18:08 oh one percent chance of happening. 18:10 Instead, Jake Elliott kicks a line drive to a mere Abdullah shout out 18:14 Nebraska knows a tough weekend, but that was a nice return for him. 18:17 He's still in the league. 18:18 I think he got drafted in like 2015 line drive to a mere Abdullah 18:22 who returns it all the way into Kam Littles range with one second left 18:26 to kick the winning field goal. 18:30 The way that it went down, it couldn't have gone better 18:33 because if he gets tackled five yards later the game is over if he gets 18:39 tackled five yards before it's that it's out of field goal range it was the exact 18:44 amount of time and yards that allowed the Jags to win the game but you just kick 18:50 it out of bounds you kick it out of bounds you kick it yeah into the 18:53 end all you have to do at that point is defend the sideline anything in play 18:57 Is is is game over and the defense has been so fucking good all game 19:02 Yeah, don't play over your special teams the first play of the game. They returned it for a touchdown 19:07 Why are you giving them the opportunity to go fucking do that again? 19:12 Kick the ball in the fucking end zone and have your all-class defense win a fucking game so easily 19:18 It's so fucking easy. Why are you overthinking it? 19:21 Just fucking do it put the ball in the fucking end zone and trust your fucking defense 19:26 I said I wasn't that mad anymore and now I'm mad again. Yeah, I mean you have every right to be mad 19:31 That was a man. That was an insane way to lose a game and and honestly Max. It's not even like yes 19:38 Number one kick it out of the end zone number two if you can't kick it out of the end zone kick it out of bounds 19:43 Number three kick a pop fly so that your work your your coverage team can get down there 19:49 He kicked a fucking direct shot to a mere Abdullah like it was a kick designed to be returned in a situation where 19:58 All you had to do is not do that 19:59 It was crazy and not to mention in the the drive before that's that led up to the field goal 20:06 Why are we throwing it on back-to-back plays with two incomplete to stop the clock and allow for eight seconds? 20:13 Run the fucking football. Jake Elliott has been awesome this year. Trust your fucking kicker. Make it the last play of the fucking game 20:20 Why are we doing this for five fucking yards? 20:24 What difference is five fucking yards gonna do when you can just take the last play of the game? 20:29 Yeah, no, I think it was an absolute masterclass of fucking stupidity from Nick Sirianni to end that game 20:36 And he said it after the game. He fucking lost the game 20:38 You know, Jillian said the plan was for the kickoff to keep the ball in bounds. 20:43 Yeah. No, that's what he said. 20:45 Like I did not tell him to I should have told him to kick it in the end zone. 20:48 I didn't. I told him. No, he told him to kick it in bounds. 20:51 Right, right. But he said he should have told him to kick it into the end zone. 20:55 And said he told him to kick it into the landing zone, 20:57 which is exactly what you don't want to do. 20:59 And then they asked Jillian Hertz about that after the game 21:01 that sequence you're talking about, Max. 21:03 And he just basically said, I just work here, man. 21:05 I don't know why you're asking me. 21:06 Well, the Eagles can't run the ball right now. 21:10 Yeah, yeah, yeah or do a tush push anything anything just make that the last play of the game 21:15 He says it's not my place when I'm up at night. I think about should I've said something so he's gonna be thinking about that tonight 21:21 So he's gonna be like it could have gone. He was also really bad in the second half 21:24 He was he just keeps doing the same fucking thing second half the Eagles are just so bad. I don't get it 21:30 I don't get it. They cut it. It's it's the same even the Bears game 21:33 We got fucking smoked in that Bears game. Mm-hmm, but the first half 21:36 They they looked good. They were right in that game and it's ever it's we just see the same fucking thing 21:43 We're weekend and week out. It's like, oh Jalen hurts looks great first half the offense looks great 21:47 And then the second half comes around. It's like they've never fucking played football before 21:50 They're a Pee Wee team that can't move the ball. We're five. We're five games into the season 21:54 The Eagles in the second half this season. They have scored 23 points, which is last they have 21:59 495 total yards, which is last 22:02 51.7% of their drives are three and outs 22:06 So half their drives were three now to the second half last and four 22:11 Point zero pass yards and attempts, which is last they just break in that second half every single game 22:17 It's crazy. Well, we've we've run out of offensive linemen. We don't have anymore 22:21 We have our fourth our fourth string center played today third string left guard 22:28 second string right tackle and then our third string right tackle played right guard today 22:32 How's how's bowling ball of knives? I think he was good. I don't know. I don't you gotta watch 22:37 I gotta watch the tape. You gotta watch smart. It was I've also found out that I don't like watching the tape when they lose 22:43 Yeah, that's fair. Yeah, it's completely fair. Yeah, I I got into the tape 22:47 I watched it the two games that they won and it was fun and when they lose 22:50 It's like I don't want to look at this game at all 22:52 Yeah, you just want you want to watch highlights, but like different angles of highlights 22:55 Well, I like that's what it's really good for yeah, well, I like to critique games that we've won 23:00 Yeah, I don't like to look at games that we've lost 23:03 But that's where it is like if you if your team has a big win 23:05 You spend the next like three hours watching all the highlights from it 23:08 And then you run out of highlights to watch but then like a day later when the y'all 22 is up 23:13 Like I have entirely new angles to see all these great plays on like I would like to watch the Jalen Carter all 22 of this game 23:20 He was a piece in that first half. Yeah. Yeah, he was so good in this game 23:25 He was a wrecking ball 23:26 So I mean it is it is mean what they've done to you because this was 23:31 The Jaguars you're seven and a half point under dogs you went into this game being like hey 23:35 We're just gonna you know where the underdogs again 23:37 This is gonna be fun being the underdog scrapping and you did exactly that you played underdog football 23:42 You scrapped you played defense like you let them make mistakes and and to have that happen is just insane 23:49 That's the longest flight that's ever been taken like move over Amelia Earhart. I know you're probably still in the air 23:54 This is the longest flight ever it's a it's a bad bad loss. Yes, because you had it 23:59 You had it one you weren't the better team today the Jaguars played 24:02 They were really good Parker Washington had an awesome game. He's awesome. He's really good 24:08 But the Eagles did everything that they had to do to win the game and yeah 24:11 Just brain fart at the end the Jaguars by the way are the first team since 2011 to win back-to-back games 24:18 Where they've had 13 or more penalties. So that's an issue for the giant 13 penalties a hundred yards. Mm-hmm 24:23 That's an issue for the Jaguars, but they've done they keep winning. They keep what it was not it was not a good-looking game for the Jaguars 24:30 and they probably 24:32 Shouldn't have won given the fact that the game was over 24:36 But they found a way to win. Yep 24:37 They found a way to win also shout out the Eagles fans out. That was awesome 24:41 Yeah, it was a home. They traveled to London and they forced to delay of games at the goal line because they were so loud 24:46 Yeah, that was very cool 24:47 also considering that this should be a home game for for the Jaguars. It is 24:51 technically just yeah it was it was literally a home game for them but like to 24:55 get to get out shown I think the Eagles are just like probably the only fan base 24:59 that could do that. What do you do with Nick Seriali right now? He's a bad guy right now. 25:08 He's a bad guy. He's a bad guy. I don't know. Is there a mutiny? I don't know. 25:14 I read a headline that there might be a mutiny. I didn't dive into the body 25:17 of the article but it said possible mutiny yeah I'm sick of them losing 25:21 fucking games and he goes to the podium and he's like first thing you got to do 25:25 is look at yourself yeah like he's like he's actually kind of a narcissist he 25:29 doesn't ever how much he's had to look at himself this year yeah he's like hey 25:32 dude he's that one friend who's always checking themselves out and like the 25:36 the car windows come on Nick you know my favorite my favorite post-game quote 25:40 was is from Britain Covey what he said he said that Nick is wonderful at 25:46 owning things. And we all try to follow his lead. 25:49 Is he talking like a house, a jet ski? 25:51 No, in terms of like saying, I fucked up. 25:53 Got it. Like Nick, Nick Siriani might be the best coach in the NFL. 25:56 Yeah. Being like, Hey, I fucked up. Yeah. 25:58 They you just got to stop fucking up. 26:01 And you can and you don't have to say that all the time. 26:02 Yeah, it's not a good thing to be great at admitting that you fucked up. 26:05 Constantly being the my bad guy. 26:07 At some point, you're going to be like, Hey, how about let's just 26:09 not have it be your bad. It's Cam Ward. Yeah. 26:13 He keeps saying you got to look in the mirror and then nothing changes. 26:15 So you got to get a buck better fucking mirror man. Yeah, we had to take the mirrors out of his house 26:21 No, we got to get more mirrors. No, no, no, no mirror mirror 26:25 You get like carnival mirrors make them look fat and he's like, oh my god. I got to change everything 26:29 That's what you need to do. Yeah, the mirrors that he has are not either get rid of all of them or change them up 26:35 Maybe make them just one way mirrors. Yeah, because right now Nick Siriani is looking in the mirror 26:39 And he's still saying I'm Nick Siriani. I'm a super winning head coach. I look pretty cool 26:43 We need to make him look grotesque 26:47 like maybe maybe we draw it sharpie a dick on the mirror so every time he looks 26:50 in the mirror it's like oh dude you got a dick in your mouth what are you doing 26:53 not there's anything wrong with that it was bad this was I the only saving grace 26:58 is that I didn't have to watch that in the cave I know we swear like man we 27:02 wish I wanted to see you I saw it was just you've seen it before and I mean 27:08 it's also the first time I think it's like the first time I've like ever 27:10 watching Eagles game with my wife and she was just sitting there very 27:15 awkwardly quiet as I watched what happened and just I had a but no I wasn't 27:20 screaming at all it was just silence it was like we weren't screaming at all no 27:24 I swear yeah I I just didn't scream once it was it was a speech it was 27:30 speechless I hadn't I had no I had no words what I had just watched no screen 27:36 you didn't say a word I don't think so they were a mere Abdullah returns the 27:42 kick he gets tackled and you didn't say cam little goes on to the field the 27:47 fuck come on kicks the field goal I don't think and then goes up to the crowd 27:51 and like I was like oh my god oh my god oh my god did you think there was a 27:55 chance cam little missed a kick no I knew yeah at least they didn't put like 28:00 cuz that the minute he ran it back as a cam little is fucking awesome oh no I 28:04 knew that was good like as soon as they got it into field goal range I was 28:06 like oh my god they lost the game yeah the whole time I was watching 28:09 I was like dude if it is a really hard thing to ask someone on the cover steam do but imagine if he had had the 28:15 The mind to just hold them up 28:18 Yeah, that was the other thing. No, it was literally it was the perfect spot on the field. Yeah, perfect spot on the field 28:24 Yeah, I just like just run with them for a couple more seconds. Yeah, like next to him like you're going for a jog 28:29 And then tackle. Yeah, Hank. Do you have any questions for Max thoughts for Max? Did you watch the game Hank? 28:35 You're an international guy. Yeah, well the international you watch the game. Yeah 28:39 all of it also it okay I don't I don't believe you I watched the end of it mm-hmm not the 28:45 very end I actually thought the I went took a shower after the after the Eagles hit their 28:49 yeah that was the end because it was like running late and I was like oh I got a so 28:53 then when you came out what went through your head I genuinely didn't see it till 28:57 like 30 minutes later like I started watching the rest of the games I opened 28:59 up my draft king so I bet the Eagles money line was ago and then I was 29:03 confused and then I was really good I couldn't I could not believe it damn 29:08 Did you scream yeah, I did scream yeah, you have to scream which is why I know max screamed 29:17 You definitely screamed at least walked into your you didn't walk into your bedroom after and like yell into a pillow or anything 29:24 No 29:25 Damn, I think that they need to do something about the timing of these games 29:29 Because this game it wasn't even like I didn't run into overtime and it's still and it felt like it ended 29:36 I don't like when there's overlap 29:37 Yeah, you know what has to end before the other games. Yeah, dude. Yeah, I was in America. Yeah 29:43 It at the normal windows to play a football game. I 29:48 Love international. I'm all about growing the game. I do the oh the early morning. Sometimes it is kind of a force 29:55 We got another one next week. I know it's kind of a force big-time force 29:59 Yeah 30:00 I haven't take yeah. I'm I like Jason Kelsey. I think he's a nice guy. I think he's a talented broadcaster 30:06 Oh, don't do this. I think it's a good podcast. Don't do this to Max. 30:09 If you're a Jaguarist fan, you're watching that game. You want to destroy your television. 30:14 Well, I mean, everything's against you. You have a home game where it's 30:17 Eagles fans screaming. But usually the answer is that if it's, it's one thing to like opt into 30:22 them. It's another thing if it's the only broadcast that you can watch on TV and it's an 30:27 FL network. And then Jason Kelsie is just talking about how great the Eagles are the whole 30:31 time. If I'm I was able to deal with it because I like Jason Kelsie and whatever 30:37 but if you're a Jaguars fan watching that game that's got to be the most 30:40 infuriating experience of all time. Yeah you never fear great. I disagree. Okay. I 30:45 think he was being too impartial. There were there were multiple times I 30:48 was watching that game where I was like no no no no no Jason we know you're 30:51 really I need you to I need you to be a home. Yeah I like that. Yeah two 30:55 different sides. There were times he was like he loves Josh Heinz Allen. I know 30:58 He kept complimenting a lot of the Jags and I was like 31:02 Jason come on now 31:03 Well, he was like I really gained a lot of respect for Josh Heinz Allen because Josh Heinz Allen went out of his way to tell me 31:09 How much he loved Lane Johnson, so I'm a big Josh Heinz Allen guy now 31:15 Yeah, no, it should have been more of a Homer 31:16 I know a like I didn't like it 31:18 I didn't like it at all to be out to be quite honest with you. All right. Do you guys have a bye week? 31:23 No, oh 31:25 You play in the Panthers that we get the Panthers coming off of a bye 31:29 So you do not only get I we have to play a team coming off of a bye. Yeah, which that makes zero sense 31:36 That's brutal. Why do they do that to you? 31:40 But hey, do you want to say the thing that you said to him last week that you can say to him 31:44 It still applies today. I forget what I said to him. I said a lot of things to max 31:49 Max you can still win the division right in the thick of it 31:53 Max yep, do you hear what he said? 31:57 You can still win the even the Eagles aren't out of it yet 32:01 Eagles are our favorites to win the division 32:04 Plus 170 you got this max the 32:07 commanders plus 750 32:09 Maybe worth the sprinkle 32:12 But some good ball that you want to go to that game. Let's do it. Go ball. All right Giants 27 commanders 27 32:17 our guy PMT stats put it perfectly when he tweeted 32:21 did the NFC East had two teams play one another, 32:24 a team that led while kicking off with eight seconds left, 32:27 a team that played an O and four team 32:29 and they won zero games this week. 32:31 Yep. 32:32 That's pretty hard to do. 32:34 Yep. 32:35 The Giants 27, Commander's 27. 32:38 That's, I don't think that's fair 32:39 because the Giants won. 32:41 Yeah. 32:42 The Giants won this tie. 32:43 Yeah. 32:44 Yeah. 32:44 You always say that there's always a winner 32:46 and a loser and a tie. 32:47 When we tied England in the World Cup and Qatar, 32:50 We beat the shit out of them in that zero zero tie the commanders choked away this tie 32:55 Yeah, where we are the losers of the side and it's weird because 33:00 You could make the argument earlier in that over time 33:03 That the Giants choked away their tie camscataboo scataboo. I mean, I guess we can take it 33:08 Do you want to do the end of the game first? 33:11 Yeah, Hank you tell me end of the game first a game first, okay 33:14 So a lot of people are asking a P. I've been waiting like five hours for this. Yeah 33:18 Hey, PFT, do you blame? 33:20 Who do you blame for the way that the game ended? 33:22 Initially, it was Dan Quinn in the cave. 33:24 The answer is I blame Jayden Daniels 100% 33:28 and I blame Dan Quinn 100%. 33:30 Okay. 33:31 And I think what happened was, number one, 33:35 in the post-game interviews that they did, 33:37 it seemed like Jayden was trying to say something 33:39 that he wasn't actually going to put his chest out inside. 33:40 Or can you just cry for the people that didn't see 33:43 maybe the listeners that didn't get to watch the game 33:44 waiting for a blind? 33:45 For the blind listeners. 33:46 Yes, yes, yes. 33:47 Set the scene. 33:48 Okay, so with about 51 seconds left. We have the ball. We're driving. We've reached I believe the 24 yard line 33:54 It's 27 27. It's overtime 33:57 No timeouts left no timeouts for the commanders which it's at the 24 yard 34:01 It's important to say because I don't know if everyone on the commanders knew that it's there's no timeouts 34:05 we have zero timeouts left and 34:08 We run the ball with Rashad white. We take our sweet-ass time 34:11 Jaden stand there with both his hands in the hand warmers 34:14 So there's like no urgency. You can tell that they're doing something intentional deliberate blah blah blah 34:19 Then they get up they run in motion. They bleed the clock down and 34:24 They run a play Jaden drops back from under center handing the ball off to no one play fake to no one 34:31 then Panix takes a couple steps forward to his left and 34:35 Then he dives at a defender's leg 34:39 thereby keeping the clock running as I said no timeouts and then they weren't 34:44 able to get a snap off to spike it to kick a field goal which would have been 34:48 about a 41 yard field goal at the last second also there was no urgency once 34:52 he went down for about three seconds he didn't realize that the clock was 34:56 running right there's no urgency at that point so I should also mention 35:00 that I think it was Jonathan Vilma on the broadcast he had no idea what was 35:04 going on he was saying okay they're gonna try to get the ball in good 35:07 in position here for the kicker to kick it. 35:10 So he had no idea that there were no timeouts. 35:11 So does he get a hundred percent of the blame? 35:13 No, yeah, yeah, actually, yes, good point Hank. 35:16 But that's why I think, I was confused 35:18 when I was watching it too, 35:20 because it was like, wait a second, what's going on here? 35:22 Yeah, they're centering the ball, 35:23 wait a second, they have no time. 35:24 They're centering the ball for the kicker. 35:26 So why I say it's a hundred percent on Jaden 35:28 because I think good organizations and good coaches, 35:33 offensive coordinators and head coaches 35:35 will make sure to run through every scenario 35:37 with their quarterback before a play like that. 35:40 I think they'll leave no doubt in anybody's mind 35:42 what's going on. 35:43 I think a good coach would do that. 35:46 Oh, Max is circling something. 35:48 OK. 35:49 The commanders talked about not having any timeouts 35:51 in the huddle. 35:52 Yeah. 35:52 So they were aware. 35:54 Right. 35:55 Well, with the white. 35:56 So in between that white run to the end of the game, 35:59 what was that communication like in the huddle? 36:01 Did you guys know there was a timeout? 36:02 Was that you didn't have any timeouts left? 36:04 Was that talked about in the huddle after the white run? 36:06 That was, that was talked about level. Yes. Right. So, so what I'm saying is a good organization 36:12 will say, here's what you do, throw the ball out of bounds or clock it if that reads not there. 36:18 Apparently, they did not say that explicitly, but you should not have to say that explicitly. 36:23 Your quarterback should know exactly what's going on. He did not know what was going on. 36:29 So yeah, and then in the post game press conference, 36:33 I feel like he was trying to say something without actually saying it and I'm still kind 36:38 of confused as to exactly what it was because he was talking about how it's like an entire 36:43 team from the top down. 36:45 So Jane said, we all have to be better situationally starts with me. 36:49 Everybody will say the same thing, but we just got to be better at situational football. 36:52 We got to stop the clock. 36:53 We got to know the situation. 36:54 We got to relay that as an offense. 36:56 It starts from everybody top down, ultimately it's on me. 37:00 me. It sounded like he was trying to say something about the coaching staff without 37:04 saying something about the coaching staff. And if he, if they did tell him the situation 37:09 and he's trying to blame them, that's a scumbag move. Now, I think it's on Dan Quinn also 37:14 because like he should have gone through, you go through every scenario if you're 37:17 a really good head coach like that, you make it very clear what your quarterback's going 37:22 to do. Obviously your quarterback should know what to do, but you have to go that 37:24 step. And I think that ultimately Dan Quinn is going to bear most of the responsibility 37:29 for this because he got Magic Johnson tweeting mad. 37:33 And Magic Johnson never, he never posts mad. 37:37 Magic Johnson usually has, it's like buying a handgun. 37:39 There's usually like a three day waiting period 37:41 that Magic Johnson has before he is allowed to post 37:44 after he's mad. 37:46 He said, I'm in total disbelief. 37:48 My commanders had such poor clock management 37:50 in today's overtime game against the Giants. 37:53 All we had to do was kick the field goal 37:55 and we would have won the game. 37:56 Yeah, so that's not some of that magic Johnson would normally say mm-hmm that to me tells me Dan Quinn might be 38:03 The seat might be hotter than hot. Hmm. Like it might be a your your car doesn't work on Monday type hot 38:09 Max you look like you had a question 38:15 You're acting like Jane Daniels like doesn't know how to play football 38:18 How do you mean? No, he just needs to get told like exactly what to do 38:23 When to snap the ball where to throw it and if he doesn't do that it's not his fault 38:28 I said, rewind this, like 30 seconds to the point where I said 38:33 that Dank Quinn is going to get the responsibility. 38:36 Yeah, I think he'll be the one, 38:38 I don't think that Magic Johnson's going to cut Jane Daniels. 38:40 Well, that's not crazy for P.F.D. to say 38:41 that the coach will get the blame for this. 38:44 Yeah, that's what I'm saying. 38:45 But Jane Daniels has to know, like he deserves it. 38:49 It's his third year. 38:50 I literally said that. 38:52 I'm saying that like he has to know that. 38:55 But then you also said that five times, 38:56 It's like a good organization doesn't do I think I think both those things are true 39:01 I think a good quarterback doesn't do that. I I think that most court if yes, like you said a good organization five times 39:06 I don't think you ever like yeah, I said it was his responsibility. I said like he should have known that absolutely 39:13 It's on him. He's a quarterback. He has to know that anyone who knows football like 39:17 Everyone watching that game right so I think I think what happened if I not Jonathan Vilma 39:23 No, no, no, 100% of the blame watching the play over again. 39:26 It looked like something in the play wasn't what he expected as soon as the ball got snapped. 39:32 Something was different about the play than what he expected. 39:34 He panicked and he went forward and he dove and it's not an excuse throw it away. 39:38 It's not an excuse. 39:40 You got to say that's that's what happened. 39:42 It was a bad, bad play and it is his responsibility to know that. 39:45 But I still don't know if he knew because he didn't get up right away. 39:48 Like he didn't. 39:50 I don't think he was like. 39:51 Like when he when he went down, he didn't get he didn't get up for like four seconds 39:55 He just kind of sat there until the rest of the team was like dude 39:59 We got to go. It was Josh Connerley. Yeah, that was the first like what are we doing? So like it's it's weird 40:04 I don't I don't know 40:05 I'm reading between the lines with what he said at his press conference 40:08 What Dan Quinn said at his press conference and it seems like they're both 40:12 Ultra committed to not saying anything at all and not saying anything in substance 40:16 So like you have to read between the lines a little bit 40:18 But the bottom line is Jane Daniels has to know exactly what's going on Dan Quinn good organizations good coaches will just like 40:25 Tell them the exact scenario, but you say that but then when the players when you see the like the 40:31 I don't know if that was an offensive lineman like he said that the players were aware of the situation 40:37 Yeah, they had no timeouts. So what if they knew they had no timeouts 40:41 What didn't the coaches do like did it like what were they supposed to tell him? 40:45 and for them to not have blame. 40:48 I don't know, Mike, for who to not have blame? 40:51 The coaches, like you're saying it's like 40:53 the coaches organization that they should have been 40:54 more specific. 40:55 Like some of the players knew. 40:58 It sounds like they all knew. 41:00 Yeah, well, he said some of the players knew. 41:02 I saw another interview with somebody else that said, 41:05 not so much. 41:07 So like, I don't know. 41:08 I don't know exactly, 41:10 I don't think we're ever gonna know all that happened. 41:12 The bottom line is that Jaden has to know 41:13 the situation and throw the ball away or spike it just throw the ball into the 41:17 ground it's not hard to do like it looked like the the play call had a throw 41:21 away yeah they they had designed the play they got there's a guy going to the 41:24 sideline that all he has to do is throw it over yeah yeah like 82 is right is 41:30 right there all he has to do is throw it over 82 yeah so I don't know I don't 41:34 know what happened and and the reason for like no rush whatsoever I think you 41:41 had it like a complete brain fart. He might have had a complete brain fart. I think like they had 41:45 it seemed like they had the play they knew they he might have forgotten how much time was left on 41:49 the I think he had a complete brain fart because he didn't get up right away if he got up right 41:53 away you'd been like oh that was just a broken play something fucked up happened in the play 41:57 he literally didn't get up for three seconds until someone was like dude get up yeah so that's like 42:02 he just didn't know the situation yeah it's it's it was a terrible play and he fucked it up 42:08 Hank do you have any questions trying to think no like the I guess if a hundred you 42:16 can't there's there's only a hundred percent of blame pie on the table so you 42:20 can't do a hundred and I got two pies though no you did one pie what can I do 42:24 two times because and I'm asking a question in a scenario there's one pie 42:27 yeah where where does that pie gets put up so I could do the thing where you 42:33 You look at 1% yeah, I'm saying five yeah for your JV but I 42:39 You can look at other stuff that happened in the game 42:42 You can say that Dan Quinn had the most cowardly punt of the NFL season 42:47 So far when he punted the ball way and overtime at fourth and five 42:51 Gave the ball up 42:53 Like that was a bad move 42:54 He said Dan Quinn has some responsibility for not calling a timeout at the very end of the game 42:58 when the Giants had the ball on their own one yard line and 43:01 and let them just take a knee at the one 43:04 and there were like six seconds left in the game 43:07 and then you could try to get, 43:09 you could try to attack them for safety. 43:11 Like they're backed up that far, 43:12 literally at their own goal line. 43:14 Why not make them run another play at that point? 43:17 There's other stuff you can point out 43:19 like a missed extra point in the game 43:20 and be like, that should happen. 43:22 There's a lot of bad stuff that happened. 43:24 But yeah, that adds like, 43:26 who gets the responsibility for that last play? 43:28 Is that what you're asking? 43:29 Yeah. 43:30 One thing that you that 43:32 You can give Dan Quinn the credit the you know the blame for you just shouldn't even be running that play like yeah like 43:39 Even calling that play opens up a bad thing because like he could have there could have been a great pressure 43:44 And he got sacked and he couldn't even get it away and to intentionally grounding. Just kick just kick the fucking ball 43:49 Yeah, just kick the fucking so it was an intermediate pass play 43:52 So I guess the idea was like try to get four yards to the sideline. See that's what pisses me off 43:57 The same thing in the Eagles game just trust your fucking kicker right four yards makes no fucking difference 44:02 Right makes no like how many fucking times do you see? 44:06 Good from wherever good from wherever if it's a good kick 44:09 It's a good fucking kick four yards ninety eight percent of the time is not going to make a single difference 44:13 Yeah, so why risk it? I mean ultimately this is I think there's no way that this happens a 44:20 Lot of it you have to look at and say if Jaden played and was in these scenarios more often 44:24 and he was on the field, he's more used to being there, 44:27 less likely to have a brain fart. 44:29 That's kind of what it comes down to. 44:30 That's fair. 44:31 And maybe it was a brain fart, 44:34 maybe it was told some wrong information 44:36 that we're not being shared, I don't know. 44:38 They're very weird with how they're talking about it. 44:40 My guess is that they're just all kind of trying 44:42 to protect one person, whether that's Dan Quinn 44:46 or whether that's Jaden, I don't know. 44:48 But it's bad. 44:49 It was a very, very bad ending of a very winnable game. 44:52 41 yard field goal and it's not like we didn't need to run the clock down because if you make 44:59 the field goal that's game over they're not getting the ball back we're not going to have to kick off 45:04 and then there's ultimately some blame pie that goes to the the defense in the fourth quarter 45:10 and and we got james caught fire james caught fire we got likely caught fire we got james big 45:15 time and they went they figured out in the fourth quarter we got to start going mickey hunting 45:19 Mm-hmm, and I don't know why it took them that long to do it because the defense is pretty good through three quarters 45:25 and then they went Mikey Hutton and 45:28 yeah, likely and neighbors both had career days just lit us up and 45:33 Yeah, I mean credit to the Giants for for fighting back and going on a couple long drives in the fourth quarter that ended up tying the game 45:39 I also think that the Giants should have gone for two after they ended up 45:44 uh scoring the uh the touchdown that took him to one point behind at the end of the fourth but I 45:50 think ultimately that's one thing about Harbaugh he's not an aggressive coach he just always had 45:56 Lamar Jackson telling him we got to go for it yeah the Giants seem to figure out who on that 46:00 team is going to be the Lamar Jackson yeah that he trusts that he'll have to just give him that 46:04 boost and be like hey coach we should go for this yeah so we can say okay because he doesn't 46:07 have that killer instinct right now Harbaugh had some funny quotes after the game he said our 46:11 defense has been playing. Oh, we know he said on James 46:14 Swinson, I thought he was amazing in the fourth quarter, 46:17 the second half, the first half he wasn't. He'll be the first to 46:20 tell you that that's that's a good coach just given some some 46:23 hard truth. And then he said, I'm happy it wasn't a loss and 46:26 I'm sad it wasn't a win. So that's how I feel. So I know it 46:29 sounds obvious, but that's kind of how you feel. That's a 46:31 perfect way to sum it up. Yeah, it's crazy because the 46:34 the overtime in this game had so many swings. Yeah. So 46:37 fourth and five, like I said, we punt the ball away. 46:39 That was the cat most cowardly punt in the NFL this season that Dan Quinn chose to do then the Giants 46:45 Come back down the field later on and the Giants end up at at our 24-yard line and 46:52 Cam scataboo fumbles. I think it was Doron Payne punch the ball out 46:56 Fumbles at the 24 when they could have just taken a knee and kicked a field goal and they would have won 47:01 So now we get the ball back when we would have just been begging for a tie-off miss field goal 47:05 And we go down the field then we fuck everything up and then all of a sudden the Giants win the tie 47:11 Yep, there's a back-and-forth tie. It's back-and-forth tie 47:14 So we was supposed to blame pie on the last play on the last play without us knowing everything 47:19 I'm gonna say 75% Jaden 25% Dan Quinn 47:24 Now who's gonna end up eating shit for it? Probably Dan. I'd agree with that 47:28 Do you think there's any any like beef in the locker room like with some of the players not having Jane's back 47:34 And like, you know, as it comes back to the Arizona state stuff, is that is that something that is that brewing? 47:39 Good question. No, that's just that's nonsense. I don't think so. They're all pretty 47:42 They're pretty happy with him today because he did play well and he was you know, you look good running the ball 47:48 He ran really had over a hundred yards rushing 47:51 Was pretty effective in passing. He fucked up a couple third downs 47:55 That probably would have put the game away, but overall I'd say he he played a 47:59 decent game thrown the ball and in a great game running the ball 48:03 So I think his teammates love I think there's a fastest that he's ever run today 48:08 That's awesome. Yeah, so I think he's I think he's okay. I don't think that they hate him 48:12 It was also the day got off to a weird start with Adam Schefter being like hey according to league circle doctors 48:20 He's probably gonna dislocate his elbow again. Yeah, that was weird. That's weird news 48:23 She had a weird weekend. He did which we'll talk about when we get to the Texans game 48:28 Okay, so Giants now heads top of the NFC East 48:32 What three one in one it's great that we got a tie 48:35 It was also just the most hilarious tie ever from an objective third party. It was 48:41 Quite a ridiculous tie to have so because the both teams felt like they were gonna win and then it's like oh shit 48:48 I didn't even thinking about a tie. Yeah, the the Giants were oh and 230 since 48:53 1970 when they were trailing by 14 plus points in the final eight minutes regulation 48:57 Mm-hmm. They are now 0 230 in one. They got a tie. They got a tie out now 49:02 They got a tie they're off the schnide. So if we had won this game 49:05 I probably would have felt really good like we're back now. It's 49:08 The this feels like classic Redskins football 49:11 This feels like all the bad vibes that have ever happened and it does feel like this is 49:16 This is the type of thing that is more likely to make a team fall apart at the seams 49:21 Yeah, it is to bring them closer together. I would say I guess we'll find out next Monday night in San Francisco. Oh 49:27 Yeah. Oh, that's a tough draw. 49:30 There'll be tough lines that anyway. 49:32 I'm going to guess 15 and a half, 15 and a half. 49:36 Yeah, seven and a half sounds about right. 49:37 That's about maybe eight and a half. 49:39 I think it's seven or seven and a half. 49:41 Eight and a half could be good. 49:43 It's me over 14 and a half. 49:45 Seven and a half. 49:47 Because I don't I don't think that the commanders are that bad, 49:50 but that was a very bad way to tie to lose a tie to lose a tie. 49:55 Yeah. 49:55 You good, Hank? 49:56 Do you have any other questions? 49:58 No, it's it. 49:59 Yeah, I guess with the NFC Beast being the new NFC South, 50:03 like, do you still think you can win the division? 50:05 They are the Billy Baldwin of divisions. 50:07 So yes. 50:09 Yes, I do. 50:10 I don't think it's any. 50:11 I think anyone can win that division. 50:12 Like I said, it's going to be tough 50:13 because this is the type of thing 50:15 that we'll make for in-fighting, 50:16 and like people playing the blame game. 50:19 And then that's not ever going to make a team closer. 50:22 But strictly from how we played today, 50:25 taking away that very last second brain fart, 50:27 I think that we still could because the division is ass. 50:30 I think anyway, if you stack enough ties, 50:32 you could win division. 50:34 What were you gonna say, Zach? 50:35 Quick question, PFT, who would you want the blame 50:37 to fall on in the organization? 50:39 Like who do I want to see fired? 50:41 Yeah, like who do you want? 50:42 If it comes out like, hey, we gotta blame somebody. 50:44 Who do you wanna be blamed the most here? 50:45 I would like to blame- 50:47 Jonathan Vilma. 50:47 Jonathan, well, he's number one obviously, 50:49 but he's not in the organization. 50:52 You gotta hire him and fire him. 50:53 I'd be like, see, we got someone for you guys. 50:56 Whoever's in charge of just sticking Luke McAfrey 50:59 on special teams and not using them. 51:01 Okay. 51:02 Do you think there's a chance that Dan Quinn hires a nerd? 51:05 It is a very Dan Quinn thing to do because. 51:08 You can definitely see him hiring a nerd 51:10 being like, here's our nerd. 51:11 He's gonna make sure this doesn't happen again. 51:13 The reason why I'm still not completely convinced 51:15 that it's not Dan Quinn's fault 51:17 would happen at the end is like he does, 51:20 he did have that whole 28 to three thing. 51:22 Yeah, but yeah, so he's never been a master of the clock. Maybe it's like, you know, you hire you hire someone to look over 51:30 The nuclear station after Chernobyl be like, hey, we got a guy who's making sure that there's no there's no accidents anymore 51:37 But again, that's something that could very easily be done 51:41 Yeah, I don't know. I don't think that you you necessarily needed a nerd in this situation 51:46 You needed to figure out what to do. No, just basic situational awareness 51:50 And also the thing that I'm confused by why if it's all 51:53 agreed that this is just going to be a clocking of the ball, why 51:55 was Jaden under center? That seems like line them up and 51:58 shotgun. And then you you don't have to worry about the 52:02 exchange or anybody getting stepped on. That seems that 52:05 well no under center would be clocking the ball. That's a 52:07 weird part to me. Well, it obviously wasn't like a clock 52:10 in like a straight down spike. Yeah, it was the Kirk 52:12 Cousins you spiked that where it took a knee. Okay. 52:16 Uh and credit the Giants for for forcing a tie. Scattaboo was a monster and Jamis 52:22 Jamis is I don't really know what to they did bring in JJ McCarthy for a play 52:26 He just got smoked. That seemed kind of mean. It was actually two plays. I think yeah a couple plays 52:31 And he he it was like an RPO and he just got swallowed up 52:35 So it's good to see him out there. Mm-hmm. He was sitting underneath the 52:39 Field goal post before the game doing his zen stuff. So he's back suck kind of it does feel like they're 52:45 They're conditioning us to have Jaden lose the starting job soon. What that's what it felt like to me. James 52:52 J. J. J. J. 52:54 That was a slip. That was a 40 and slip. No, I'm talking about James because JJ got in a few times and 53:02 James did not 53:04 Looked like he was ready for that. He was not expecting to be taken out of the game 53:08 So that's what I'm saying. It's probably something that they're 53:11 They're probably trying to do the boiling frog thing where we'll put JJ in for like three more plays every week until all of a sudden 53:18 He's a starter. Nobody realizes yet. That was a deep deep deep dark thought slit 53:24 Do I think that they should bench Jaden? No, I don't think that no, I know you said it twice 53:27 That's why we all we all stopped and we're like whoa 53:31 Okay, that's that game great tie sickles and perverts. We got more. There's another song 53:37 Packers 31 bears seven 53:39 Listen, Mike Dicca died. Let's start with that. Okay. I know that it's a little tongue 53:45 in cheek, but it was I was sad on Friday to hear the passing of Mike Dicco. Would you 53:51 guys not agree? Like Mount Rushmore football guy? Just everything about him is football. 53:57 Yeah, football guy. He was a tight end system. One super was a tight end. One super was 54:01 assistant coach. One super was a head coach. Live, breathe, eat football. We got 54:07 interview I got to do a couple radio remotes with him every time I got to spend even a second of time 54:11 with him it was an absolute thrill he was exactly what you thought was exactly what you saw on camera 54:17 what you thought Mike Dick would be he was that in person I was looking back and uh the way we got 54:24 our interview with Mike Dicka like it was like 2016 2017 someone had given me Mike Dicka's phone 54:30 number and I just texted him and I said hey coach this is early part of my take so he could have 54:35 just been like fuck off a Mike Dica like hey coach would love to interview you can we maybe 54:40 set that up and he just wrote back and said yeah come to my restaurant Thursday night 54:44 and that was it we just went to his restaurant he was just there and he's like all right where 54:48 do you want to do this and then we just did it in his restaurant he gave us his time 54:52 and he was the best so that sucked on Friday you know all time football guy but this game 54:58 game this game really sucked too. Packers 31 bears seven like I said that was an absolute 55:06 ass kicking, punking, bitch slapping, no way to put it other than the bears got pantsed 55:13 and all the good vibes from last year and the rivalry and Ben Johnson ramping it up. 55:23 You could tell this game was very personal for Matt LaFleur, very personal for Jordan 55:27 in love and they proved that they were just better 55:31 like every which way today and it was a tough, tough watch. 55:35 And I'll say this, Tyson Bajan, not an NFL quarterback. 55:40 I think we could be done with that. 55:41 Yeah, I was thinking that they were gonna 55:43 replace him at halftime because he didn't look great. 55:46 He scored that drive at the end of the half. 55:47 Things just, the timing wasn't there. 55:50 Everything that worked for him seemed like 55:51 it was like done out of improvisation 55:53 where like say what you wanted about KSKNM 55:55 like the arm strength, but he definitely got the ball out 55:59 on time. 55:59 He decisively knew where it was going. 56:01 Here's the problem. 56:02 I think Tyson Bajan thinks in his head 56:04 that he's a starting quarterback. 56:05 He does, yeah. 56:05 He doesn't know that he's a backup quarterback. 56:08 And so when Kase Keenum comes in a game 56:10 and he knows I'm a backup quarterback at this point 56:12 in my career, I have to run the offense, 56:16 get the ball out, let the guys make plays, 56:19 just get out of the way 56:20 and just like distribute the ball quickly. 56:22 Tyson Bajan is standing in the pocket being like, 56:24 I'm gonna make the big throw. You don't have the big throw arm, dude 56:28 I'm sorry. You you could have a long career as a backup quarter. That'd be great 56:32 I'm not rooting against Tyson Bajan. It was just a very tough watch and I 56:37 Just desperately want to see kale Williams back playing which he did warm up today. So hopefully that happens, but he was bad 56:44 Jalen Johnson was really bad the secondary. What here's the here's the problem is that I went into this game on Friday show 56:49 I said I I expect the Bears to win. So I'm not gonna like backtrack on that. I thought the Bears are gonna win 56:53 I thought we were the better team. 56:55 Do you remember the two things though that I was like, 56:57 here's what I would be concerned about. 56:58 One, Tyson Bajin being a backup quarterback, 57:01 playing a game, teams getting tape on him 57:05 and being like, hey, this guy can't make all the throws. 57:07 That turned out to be very true. 57:09 Two, playing Carson Wentz in a monsoon, 57:13 Geno Smith in 2026, Philadelphia Eagles offense 57:16 is probably not how you should base your defense 57:20 somehow being elite. 57:21 And I was like, once we go on the road 57:23 and play a real quarterback it could be a problem and Jordan Love was phenomenal today. He was just 57:30 bomb after bomb after bomb all on the secondary's head he was so good and it was just like it's a 57:38 burn the tape type of game like I I'm not going to sit here and be like oh man the bear season's 57:42 over oh everything's bad no it's a really really bad game move on to the next game 57:47 burn the tape hopefully get Kail back mm-hmm and you need my non-guy back too because 57:51 Roshan Johnson not it's a little different watching him run the ball with him when when 57:56 Monongai has the ball. Is there any part that thinks like maybe the Packers like they choked 58:03 away those games last year in the second half. Yeah. Maybe the floor got smarter. No I think 58:08 I honestly think this is how this is like human nature sports. The Bears had had an 58:16 up on the Packers last year with how the end of the season went with the overtime 58:20 win in its older field than the playoff win. The Packers spent all off season being like, 58:26 fuck those guys, we're going to get them back. And they looked like the team that had been 58:31 spending all off season being like, when we get our shot, we're going to fucking give it to them. 58:35 And the Bears look like the team that had been like, Oh, we, we're fine. We can beat them 58:39 now. That's what it looked like. It looked like a team that was took it personal and then 58:44 took it out on the opponent, which happened to be the Bears today. So 58:48 You can't really say anything other than that. You're like, hey, they they they kicked our ass the defense look like dog shit today 58:55 Yeah, and this is a Packers defense to that was the Bears defense look bad 58:58 Packers defense should have been you know was was getting gashed and and they weren't able to run the ball and the Packers had all these flaws 59:05 And they they played 60 minutes of really good football and absolutely embarrassed the Bears 59:10 So it's what makes rivalries great. You go back and forth the handshake afterward was very icy 59:16 Which I love mm-hmm so but that this is the part like you can't I wish I bet you when I when I watch the Ben Johnson 59:22 Handshake from last year. Yeah, we like came in low. Yeah, like the hard one. Yeah, yeah 59:27 This one you could tell the floor really enjoyed this hand. Yeah, no he out and he has every right to that's the thing 59:32 It's like Ben Johnson would probably say it. I've I have ramped up the rivalry 59:38 When when we get you know when the when the serve gets volleyed back at us 59:42 And and we have someone ramp it up back at us. 59:45 We got to take it like men and be like, hey, that was a bad loss. 59:49 Figure out a way to beat him on Christmas Day. 59:51 Are you also worried about what happens when teams start going 59:54 Johnson hunting? Oh, yeah. 59:56 Because there were there were Johnson big time. 59:58 I mean, I have not fooled myself 60:01 in thinking that the Bears defense was magically fixed after that three game stretch. 60:04 I think there's major problems. 60:06 Austin Booker was really, really good and he looks like he's becoming a dude. 60:09 But yeah, no this secondary has major major problems jail and Johnson looks like a step slow on everything 60:15 And so you got to figure out a way to fix it and you got to figure out a way to we're gonna play the Falcons next week 60:21 And it's that's a really good offense. You got I'm scared of good offenses 60:25 And and you just hope that Caleb gets back because I think when we talked about it before the season 60:30 This team is gonna have to just play and shootouts to win these games 60:34 And we're and look Ben Johnson one went two and one with backup quarterbacks 60:39 If Caleb comes back on Sunday Ben Johnson went two and one with backup quarterbacks 60:43 I'll take that all day. I think everyone would take that if you're like hey 60:45 You lose your starter you go two and one 60:47 But we need Caleb back and anyone who's fooling themselves that it's not 60:51 That this was gonna be sustainable for a long period of time 60:55 You need Caleb back because this is not this was not fun. Yeah, Greg Olsen said that 61:01 That he looked great in warm-ups 61:03 Yeah, so Caleb like went through a whole warm-up. So yeah, hopefully he's he's he went he he's questionable 61:09 He was questionable. So 61:12 Yeah, he didn't dress. But yeah, you need killed. What do you think about? 61:16 memes suggesting that maybe that's Jets and that's a postgame handshake the Jets took all of Ben Johnson's 61:23 Ability as a coach. That's now belongs to Aaron Glenn. That's what I was talking about memes. I said I saw what you did 61:29 You're like, oh, I think it's a fair post 61:31 All right. Well, I mean Erin Glide and Ben Johnson are really close friends. I don't think CJ Stroud and Kate Williams were 61:37 No, but freaky Friday. You ever see freaky Friday? Yeah, I saw freaky Friday 61:41 I my tweet was that would be sick. Listen the the the sample size on the freaky Friday 61:48 So far is a hundred percent the Jets won and the Bears lost. So you're right. Yeah stuff. You can do about it 61:54 You just got to burn the fucking tape. This is a bad one, man 61:57 The Packers had a much better plan. 61:59 I didn't realize in the first quarter 62:00 you guys got outgained 130 to nine. 62:03 Dude, we didn't like we couldn't move the ball. 62:06 Tyson Bajie was throwing it into like five people. 62:09 And that's not to say that no one was like, 62:11 I'm not going to do the thing where it's like no one was open. 62:13 No, no, there were guys open. 62:14 He just was throwing it to the guy's cover. 62:16 Yeah, because he couldn't read what was going on. 62:19 He was thrown blind and the Packers like this is 62:22 this is the scary Jordan Love scary Matt LaFleur 62:25 when they just take deep shot after deep shot 62:27 and Christian Watson was unbelievable 62:29 and Matthew Golden looked awesome. 62:32 So yeah, that scary team when they get it rolling like that. 62:34 Hank, do you have any questions? 62:36 Yes, big cat. 62:37 Does Ben Johnson. 62:39 Do you want to say anything about Mike Dicka? 62:40 Yeah, legend, football guy, great guy. 62:44 Wish you had remembered the batteries. 62:46 Yeah, bad interview, bad zoom. 62:49 No, we recorded it at just bad tech. 62:52 Oh, we just recorded it with the camera microphone. 62:54 from I listened back to it the zoom the zoom the zoom just knives well we did 63:02 in a restaurant and like we were like there was so much noise the zoom 63:06 recorder like didn't work basically but we didn't realize that I didn't realize 63:12 that to laugh to the fact that he's a camera audio and it was just in a 63:15 ballroom essentially well coach dick had told us to show up and he'd do it 63:19 Yeah, no. That was tough. That was also like week two of the podcast. Yeah. Yeah. So how much 63:26 blame speaks more to Dicca being like these idiots that I've never heard of. I'll do this interview. 63:32 Because yeah, just show up and we'll do it. Yeah. How much blame did you put on yourself 63:37 if there's a blame pie? Blame pie probably 95% big cat, 5% me. 95 why? 63:47 just because I can't can't it can't all be me so but I get 95 you should have 63:53 trusted him yeah no no that was that was that was my bad when we didn't have 63:58 any sound guy it was just the three of us yeah I came in play market we didn't 64:02 have we didn't even have we just showed up or is before even in New York it 64:06 actually is insane to look back and be like he said just come to my restaurant 64:10 we showed up we ate dinner and he walked in and was like all right you 64:14 want to do it and then we just fucking sat at the back of the restaurant right by 64:18 where the everyone I think they were like cleaning the the silverware yeah 64:22 they were doing the they were doing side work they were like wrapping 64:25 silverware afterwards yeah no oh man all right so what was your question does 64:32 Ben Johnson's record against the NSC North concern you I saw that you got to 64:36 win the division games yeah you got it like I don't know what it's been now 64:41 Now, my counterpoint would be we won the division last year. 64:45 So, yes, not great against the division, but we did win the division. 64:49 It's going to be harder to win the division when you lose the division games. 64:53 And yeah, we got to figure it out. 64:55 We're going to in the division right now. 64:56 It's fucking sucks. 64:56 You can try tying them. 64:58 Could try tying them. 65:00 Yeah, I think this is I mean, it's it's going to be all about how the bears 65:03 respond if Caleb comes back on Sunday and we play the Falcons and we we 65:07 Look awesome. It's like, all right, that's a that's a burn the tape. 65:11 Like I said, burn the tape like anomaly type of game. 65:14 I just hope the defense is not as bad as they were today, because again, 65:17 it was like on their head constantly just over and over. 65:22 You can't say whatever Ben Johnson thinks. 65:25 If Kail Williams is not playing next week, who do you want starter? 65:29 Yeah, case kid. 65:30 I mean, that's yeah, it's it's got to be Tyson Bajum was. 65:34 Yeah, he just wasn't good. 65:35 And it's he's unfortunately played a few times in 65:40 Starting and I think he's like three touchdowns nine interceptions. You want to hear do you guys want to hear a crazy one to finish this? 65:46 And we'll go to the next game 65:48 We the QB got me thing is stupid, right? 65:51 We all agree because they do the QB got me of like this stat line for a QB like there's yeah, you know 65:57 So many stats so many stats just 32 QB stat lines every single week, but I will give him credit for this 66:04 K. Skeenham had 108 yards, zero touchdowns, one interception, no QB Gommie. Statline has 66:09 happened 18 times before, most recently by J. J. McCarthy on December 21st, 2025. Tyson 66:15 Bajan had 87 yards, zero touchdowns, two interceptions, no QB Gommie. Statline has happened nine times 66:21 before, most recently by J. J. McCarthy on November 23rd, 2025. We had two J. J. McCarthy's 66:26 in this game. 66:26 Double nine. 66:27 That's insane. 66:28 Yeah. 66:28 To have two guys, that is QB Gommie. 66:30 It's also not good. 66:31 No, I know it's it's it's a hilarious that we had two quarterbacks play in this game 66:36 Both had stat lines that most recently happened exactly by JJ McCarthy last year. Yeah, that's hard 66:44 Are you looking at this loss and saying ultimately it could be a good thing? 66:48 Well, yeah, it's whatever however they answer 66:51 Yes, because if it if it was Caleb that played in this game 66:54 I could see this just being a big bummer 66:57 But yeah, it might be one of those good losses that kind of shocks you slaps you in the face 67:01 It's like you're not actually you're not actually as good as everyone's been saying. Well, I think the defense is this was a eye-opening I 67:09 Knew it was possible because like I said the home road split that I talked about where reference on Friday is a real thing 67:15 I think overall like hey this defense is still got problems and maybe 67:20 we can add to it and 67:23 Figure out a way to do that at the trade deadline because it's we're not gonna play 67:27 Carson Wentz in a monsoon Geno Smith in 2026 Jalen Hertz. 67:31 Like that's that's not that's not how you should base your your defensive stats. 67:37 Okay. Hank. 67:39 It's just like it's actually like the sickles and perverts if they could draw it up perfectly. 67:45 It's great. It's like heartbreaking Max loss. 67:48 Insanely embarrassing. I'm gonna go pay tie for for for PFT. 67:52 Packers kicked the shit out of the bears. 67:54 Where's Max leaving and then Patriots 45 Raider 17 and Drake may is all the way back max 68:01 You have to you have to face the music. Max is back from the bathroom. You tried to get out of the Patriots 45 Raider 17 and 70:28 Drake May being all the way back. You know, Hank, I should have realized how this day was 70:35 gonna go when I was doing my fantasy corner this morning and one of the lock 70:40 heads I don't even know what you call your fans the Hank stands the lock heads 70:45 family just my family okay so just your family likes you know yeah okay so 70:50 someone from your family asked the question do you ever feel bad for Hank 70:55 and I said no absolutely not he has a top 1% life the real answer is you have 71:02 like a top point oh one percent life and today just went exactly how you would 71:08 have dreamed if you could have dreamed up today you basically hit every mark yes 71:12 the jets losing is the only thing that you missed out on no but it it's kind of 71:17 nice to have them like riding a little high okay crush their souls that much 71:20 oh you're playing them next week yeah oh so yeah that's so you actually did get 71:24 every single thing you wanted today no I I want my boys to win max home I 71:29 win. I want my boys to win. Max Holman did not win. You did not win. Max did not win. 71:36 PFT did not win. He didn't lose. But he didn't win. He didn't win. Yeah, I know I lost. That's a 71:42 loss. Did you, can you, Max, can you pull up the stat that part of my take tweeted as well? 71:47 But go ahead, keep going. As a, as a, as a, again, like a producer of the show and, and 71:52 caring about the listeners. Yeah. I can take some solace in the fact that those bad things 71:58 happen to you guys and it's good for the show. Yeah. They didn't happen to you. You care about 72:02 listens. But if it were up to me like we'd all win together. Do you think that people tune in more 72:06 when you when you have a bad day? No. Okay. They they want you got they they care about you guys 72:13 more and they care more when you guys lose. So they love you and they hate us. No I don't I 72:19 think I think they don't care about me as much as they care about you guys and they enjoy 72:23 when you guys lose that much more. Okay. Yeah. Uh, Drake May was really, really good. 72:29 Phenomenal. Was it Laffer of a game? PFT. I know why should I ask Max? Because Max, you're Glenn. 72:36 He's the only one that Glenn follows. I don't know if he's actually Glenn or not, but the 72:40 things add up. So stats that stats since Glenn tape scout ridiculed Drake May week three. 72:47 Drake May 643 passing yards, eight touchdowns, 79 rush yards, one turnover. 72:52 Now, I'm not a big Glen fan. 72:54 And the turnover was like a Glen comic book turnover. 72:57 Wait, was that the bloodbomb? 72:59 No, because I'm not a big Glen fan, 73:01 and he doesn't like me, we've all heard him say that, 73:04 but I should come in to kind of set the facts straight 73:07 on this, because Glen did his first video after week one. 73:10 Oh. 73:11 After the Seahawks game. 73:12 Oh, okay. 73:12 So it's really seven touchdowns and four interceptions. 73:16 Oh, so this is a wrong stat. 73:18 It's a completely incorrect stat, yeah. 73:20 Memes, you led the people wrong. 73:21 But you didn't do any real correction till Jacksonville. What do you mean if the defenders didn't have any arms? 73:29 Yeah, that's when Glenn got critical 73:32 No, no Glenn was sorry Glenn Glenn was critical week one when he was like look at still run these wide open guys that he missed 73:39 Yeah, he's still running. I'm on PFT side here. That was correction number one 73:43 That was that was after week one and then after week two 73:46 I think he said that ball got tipped actually the interception in the Steelers game 73:50 Mm-hmm the ball got tipped and so here's what it looks like if there's no arms on any of the Jaguars players 73:55 Mm-hmm, then after week three when he lost to the Jaguars. It was 74:01 Was that oh look how much better? 74:04 Tommy DeVito is mm-hmm, and then after that it was maybe Drake man Tommy DeVito 74:09 So switch places also look at Drake may run over this poor bastard on the sidelines 74:15 Mm-hmm. 74:16 Either way, Glenn's got his work cut out for him this week 74:19 because Drake May was pretty much perfect. 74:22 Yeah, Bessie's looked this year by far. 74:25 Bessie's looked maybe ever in a Patriots uniform. 74:29 No Matt Collins, no A.G. Brown, no problem. 74:32 Doesn't matter. 74:32 Will Campbell and Trayvon Henderson got hurt 74:35 in like 30 seconds back to back. 74:37 That wasn't good. 74:38 Will Campbell, like I think it's his knee. 74:41 Hopefully just a sprain. 74:42 And then Treyvon Henderson like hurt his ankle that he hurt early in the year that was what he missed time for so 74:49 That's not good, but other than that it was like 74:51 The best game you could possibly ask for they honored the 2001 team before they're wearing the red jerseys 74:56 Just beautiful. Just a beautiful day in New England. Vittorio was there. Yeah, all the boys were there 75:01 Yeah, he was um, I'll say this drink made. This is probably the best game that any quarterback has played this season 75:08 I use perfect. Yeah, he's perfect. The deep ball was was magical. Everything was great. He played awesome 75:14 I have absolutely zero criticism of Drake may this week 75:18 He was he looked like if he plays like this. He is the MVP 75:22 Yeah, the vision runs through us. Yeah, is there a butt? No, I mean we can move on to some other stats 75:28 Please okay, so the Raiders 75:31 Tough break for the Raiders best defense in football. They're leading the leading league in takeaways. Yeah 75:36 That was a great break for the Raiders looking at, you know, their wins 75:41 with the three and two now, right? Yeah. 75:42 And the three wins have come against teams with a combined one win. 75:47 So but you are what your record says you are. 75:49 There were three and one going in here and Drake made looked awesome. 75:53 Fantastic. Yeah. Perfect. 75:56 Better than perfect. Yeah. 75:58 Do you think the Patriots had a little extra fuel 76:01 knowing that they were beating Tom Brady? 76:04 probably yeah like a big fuck you Tom yeah I'm about that but they did beat 76:09 Tom Brady's team today yeah that's true they and Josh McDaniel got his revenge 76:16 that's true revenge game for him I listen I went in part one of the fantasy 76:22 quarter questions was talking about the Raiders like I think the Raiders are 76:25 like for real not I said they're not maybe gonna go to the playoffs but for 76:30 real in the fact that they're gonna hang around 76:32 and they got absolutely killed today. 76:34 I do have a new gambling rule 76:36 I'd like to throw out there to everyone. 76:38 I think we just can't bet Kerr Cousins outdoors anymore. 76:42 I think he's an indoor cat. 76:44 He looked significantly older today outdoors. 76:49 So that has nothing to do with the fact 76:51 that the Patriots just killed them. 76:52 The Raiders defense couldn't do anything. 76:54 They didn't get any pressure. 76:55 Like you were waiting for Max Crosby 76:58 to start wrecking the game. 76:59 I think drink may have like to prep got pressure twice in the first half. So the line was blocking very well 77:04 But yeah, I think Kirk Cousins. I think I'm just it's it's you know, you get to a point where it's like, hey, you can't go outside 77:11 There's scary things outside. There's rain. There's you know turf 77:16 Yeah, like let's just stay inside. Okay, let's you know 77:20 We don't want to elderly dog or cat going and getting eaten by a coyote. Let's thank you 77:25 Let's just stay inside Kirk. 77:27 We're gonna do inside bets only. 77:28 He's better if he sleeps in his own bed. 77:30 Yeah. 77:31 And he wakes up and he has his meal 77:32 that he knows sits well in his stomach. 77:34 He just looks older. 77:35 He drives the same way to work. 77:36 Yeah. 77:36 He's a man of routine. 77:38 So yeah, I agree with that. 77:39 He didn't look great today. 77:41 Mendoza got in for a little bit and looked all right. 77:44 I guess he was six for eight, 48 yards, 77:47 was five for five on his first five passes. 77:50 But yeah, I mean, the Patriots 77:52 just played pretty much perfect football today. 77:54 They killed him. 77:54 and they did it minus a lot of their starters. 77:56 It was a laffer. 77:57 It was a laffer. 77:59 Hank, I mean, as much as, 78:00 I know you're pointing a lot of fingers at Glenn, but. 78:03 I'm not. 78:03 I, you brought him up. 78:05 No, false. 78:06 I think I did. 78:07 A big cap brought him up. 78:08 Yeah, yeah. 78:08 Okay, you. 78:08 Well, I'm a, I'm a Glenterman. 78:10 I saw a lot of people like, was it you 78:12 or was it Gazz that was tweeting about Glenn? 78:15 I said I can't wait to watch Glentape watch this week. 78:18 Oh, so you're, yeah, you are thinking about it. 78:19 So you're a Glenterman now? 78:22 No, but this week I will be. 78:23 Okay, you're one week only you're getting the one week pass. Yeah, you 78:27 Sorry max do they have a 78:30 Do they have a pass just if you want to be a Glenn tape watch guy for one week only like is there like is like 99 78:36 Oh, yeah, this wasn't me that said suck my dick PFT commenter and Glenn tape watch that was gas 78:42 Gas and Hank are just one. They're just one in the same 78:44 Yeah, that's that's actually fair like a lot of people think that max is Glenn a lot of people think that gas is Hank 78:50 Mm-hmm. I haven't won heartbeat. I haven't seen guys in Hank in the same room together. No, neither by never 78:57 Do you have anything else in the game? 79:00 Not real. I mean there was it was like a boring yeah, it was fantastic watch 79:03 It was the Raiders can't run the ball 79:05 I feel like the Raiders for Clint Kubiak to run his offense. They have to be able to run the ball 79:08 They could not run the ball today. They haven't been able to run the ball all season and it was very like the Patriots 79:13 Just stuff them like thinking about this team with AJ Brown back Mack Hollins back Christian Gonzalez back 79:18 actually gets it's it's it's exciting it's exciting to get excited yeah when is 79:22 Christian Gonzalez get back I'm not sure because that's a big loss yeah but you 79:28 guys obviously didn't need them at all today no and not next week either against 79:33 the Jets so you are over you're overlooking the Jets those bolts and 79:38 board but Gerald means you're willing yeah you're openly overlooking the 79:42 Jets so I'm here it's the Jets yes wow it's the Jets wow it's the Jets 79:48 Okay, memes. What if you lose the jets? You're my bitch. Oh, yeah 79:55 You'll be his bitch on my pocket. I 79:58 Don't know what I don't know what I'll do 79:59 But I think you have to be memes is memes is servant only get to be memes bitch 80:02 He has to be able to use every one of your holes all of them 80:07 Okay, you just be like mouth 80:13 But here you just got to produce the holes 80:17 Okay, okay. Wow. All right. Do you that confident? Yes. It's anyway. What's the what's the line? 80:24 I have no idea. Where's the game? I looked at it. It's in New England. Patriots seven and a half eight 80:31 and a half. Henry. I know what it is. What is it? Seven. Seven. Okay. Are you gonna be taking that? 80:38 That, minus seven. 80:41 Yeah, probably alternate line, minus 15. 80:44 Listen, I don't know why Hank, AKA Gazz is upset with me. 80:48 I bet on the Patriots the last two weeks, 80:52 ever since you turned it around. 80:53 I know, I love that. 80:54 I'm happy for you. 80:55 I'm a Billy. 80:56 I'm happy for us. 80:57 Yeah. 80:58 I'm not mad at you. 80:59 I don't know what I've said today 81:00 that has made you think that I'm mad at you. 81:01 I don't think you're mad at me. 81:03 I thought that you were mad. 81:04 I thought that you were mad at Glenn. 81:07 Did it might going crazier did like five seconds ago. You said I don't know why Hank is mad at me 81:12 Okay, I was I was mixing you up with it with gas got it. Yeah, got it guys 81:20 Different guys retweets are not endorsements 81:23 Is that in your bio? 81:25 No mine. Mmm. After that Mount Rushmore controversy last year 81:30 had to put it in there. Okay. Hey, you'll forge yours if you have anything else in this 81:35 game. It was just yeah, it was it was an absolute ass kicking. And I do think the Raiders are 81:40 like not bad. I mean, they just played the Chiefs to a game where they could have beaten 81:45 the Chiefs. So it's not I'm not going to say they're the Raiders from last year. 81:49 That that was just an ass kicking. It's hard to win in this league by a lot and 81:53 they kick their ass. Get this team healthy and can beat anyone. Have you watched 81:57 Have you watched any other film breakdowns that point to like maybe why Drake may is because he looks like a different player 82:03 They did a couple weeks ago in the last two hours 82:07 Or just in the last week or so. Yeah, because he looked great last week, too 82:11 I have not no 82:12 All right, I'm just curious like is it what changes have been made because he looks I think more more time to throw the ball 82:20 Yeah, no, the protection was great. Okay, uh 82:23 Steelers 34 cults 22 82:28 Aaron Rodgers might be back, he didn't do the air yards, the air yards were still low, 82:33 but Aaron Rodgers threw for three touchdowns, he's three straight games where he's had three 82:40 or more touchdowns for the first time since 2021 when he won the MVP. 82:44 He might be back. 82:45 He was smiling. 82:46 Yeah. 82:46 Jalen Warren was phenomenal. 82:49 He was incredible. 82:50 Like 80 yard touchdown catch, 50 yard touchdown run, 188 total yards, Steelers offense 82:56 had a little pop to it. The last running back to have an 80-yard touchdown reception and a 50-yard 83:01 touchdown run of the same game was Ambassador Herschel Walker, back in I believe 1986. Okay. 83:09 Did that. It was an awesome, awesome day for him. Yep. Dernal Washington also had a great game. 83:15 There was one play where one guy just grabbed onto his foot and then five other guys came 83:19 and tried to tackle him and then eventually the refs just had to blow the whistle before 83:22 was tackled. That was awesome. And then he had the block of the day where he blocked a guy into 83:27 another guy and then blocked that second guy into a third guy. And that's how it sprung. 83:32 Jalen Warren, love that touchdown. Yeah, the Colts, the story for this game for the Colts 83:37 was they just could not do anything in the red zone. They had three field goals inside the 83:41 pit 25, including one at the 10 and one at the four. It just like they would, 83:46 they would move the ball and then got stuck. Jonathan Taylor. Oh, 83:50 Michael Penex interception. 83:53 Michael Penex interception, Ravens. 83:56 It was Tua. 83:57 Oh, that was Tua. 83:58 Oh, that's very funny. 84:00 Wait, did Michael Penex not come back? 84:01 He came back in and then he did. 84:03 And then he came back out? 84:04 He got his shit rocked on that sack. 84:08 Wow. 84:09 Tua. 84:11 Tua, you knew he had it in him. 84:12 Yep. 84:13 Just when we doubted Tua. 84:15 That was gritty. 84:15 That was a gritty one. 84:17 Yeah, that was. 84:18 Snoop. 84:21 Yeah. All right. Back to we'll talk about this game afterwards. 84:25 So yeah, the Colts just couldn't score in the red zone. 84:28 I don't really know what to make of the Colts. 84:30 I also don't understand. 84:31 I'm pretty sure that the league lets you take a bye week if you want 84:34 after playing overseas and you can elect to take it or not. 84:40 I don't understand why teams don't take it no matter what. 84:42 Well, because the record is better. 84:44 Oh, yeah, that's right. 84:45 So but it makes on the road to the yeah, on the road is different to. 84:49 And I think that it depends where you play. Like, obviously, if I play, if I had my chance, 84:55 my choice and I play it in like Australia, I'd be like, yeah, give me that bye week. 84:59 I don't think anyone obviously you can't get a bye week week too. 85:02 But I think yeah, they leave it up to the teams. Teams are better if they if they don't 85:05 take them. I don't know. Yeah. But yeah, I don't really know what to make of the cults. 85:09 Like they, they desperately need Alec Pierce. Yeah, which that changes the entire offense 85:14 when they have a legitimate really, really strong downfield threat and without him 85:19 The offense looks much different. 85:20 Yeah, I'd agree with that. 85:22 And also Daniel Jones was he leads the league 85:25 in throwing bombs that just go like 10 yards over someone's head 85:28 out about so they don't get they're not getting intercepted. 85:31 There's not even close. Right. 85:33 And Jeremy Bernard was awesome. 85:35 He like because that was the thing with with Rogers today. 85:40 He played well. 85:41 He looked young and he also like 85:44 who went out Roman Wilson went out. 85:47 And I think someone else has been out so that he was throwing to you know, like it was a lot of Fryer Muth a lot of Jeremy Bernard I 85:54 Don't know the Steelers Steelers are a better team 85:57 my big conclusion from this game is the Steelers are a better team than the Colts obviously they beat him and 86:03 I still don't think the Steelers are a threat to anyone in the AFC so Aaron Rodgers through his 86:11 581th career 86:14 first career touchdown 81th career touchdown. That makes him third all time now put him above 86:20 Peyton Manning. Yep. And also the first Steelers quarterback to throw three touchdowns three 86:26 weeks in a row since Terry Bradshaw back in the day. So this is this is as explosive as 86:31 we've seen the Steelers offense in a very, very long time. Yeah. And I think the Steelers 86:35 are just going to do this. We're going to go week to week. Their offense definitely 86:38 has more pop than it did last year. Their defense probably isn't as good. Although 86:41 their defense stood up strong in the red zone and the Steelers are going to win 86:46 nine or ten games and probably losing the playoff. They might win a playoff game. They might win a 86:51 playoff game. Happy Birthday to TJ Watt. Yes. He got poked in the eye. Yes. Came back in. My 86:56 theory was that he got hit on his nose and then he acted like it hit his eye so he could go to the 87:02 sidelines and be allowed to put the visor on. That's what I would do if I was an NFL player. 87:06 The visor looked cool. Yeah. Every play I'd just be like, oh my eye, 87:09 Let me put on the sick visor who are the Colts play next the the Shane Stikin. He he's a big you you're talking about it 87:16 Max the Nick Siriani looking in mirrors Shane Stikin's a big I got to do better. Oh, they get the Titans next week 87:23 Oh, okay, so they're good. Yep. So the Colts would be back. I'm in on 87:28 I'm in on Shane Stikin. Oh you want Shane Stikin. I would love you want him back 87:34 Shane Stikin was good. Yeah. Yeah, he was good coordinator for the Eagles 87:38 I don't I don't think that Shane Stikin is the problem and for the Colts, but he and it's not like they're a terrible team 87:45 Yeah, no, they're they're an average team 87:47 The problem is it being an average team in the AFC is being an average team in the NFC could get you in the playoffs being 87:52 An average team in the AFC is gonna be very difficult 87:55 We were deep-throat in the guy for the first eight weeks of last year 87:59 He was the coach looked awesome through eight weeks last year. So I think he's a good coach 88:05 There's some other things around him that I don't think are optimal 88:08 They get the Titans next week. Yeah. Yeah. So this is by week. 88:11 And Jalen Warren, the big story is Jalen Warren deserves more respect. 88:14 It's not like an aberration. 88:16 He's just good and he's he's got he's got some juice to him where he gets the ball. 88:21 And he's he's elusive and it's it's fun to watch, 88:24 which is always a jarring thing in a Steelers uniform. 88:28 OK. Memes, Jets, 17, Browns, 12. 88:32 The Browns fell under the trap game. 88:34 dude the brown the browns browned and that they browned browns out browned the 88:42 jets jetting yeah if that makes any sense Dom my assistant so he remember he 88:48 said this is avoid the trap game I told him afterwards you fell in the trap and 88:54 he said no we didn't we got beat by rain yeah they lost the rain wasn't part 88:58 of the deal the browns lost yeah how come every time the browns play the 89:03 Jets in the Meadowlands. It's just the worst possible weather. 89:08 A bunch of players were saying that today, too, that it just only 89:11 rains on Sundays in New Jersey. Yeah. 89:15 I have a question for you, Memes. Yes, sir. 89:17 Where so you beat the Browns. 89:20 Where would you say this ranks in terms of Jets wins? 89:24 I know where you're going with this. 89:26 So where would you personally say this is? 89:29 Hey, you're going to want to listen to this. I'm listening. 89:31 Wait, where would you where would you say it ranks historically? I'd say it's one of the biggest okay? 89:36 Yeah, cuz tomorrow Davis said I 89:39 Would go as far as to say this was a historic win for this organization 89:45 It could be it could never lose it could never lose again 89:48 Should actually say that after every game because you never know where it's gonna go. This could be a historic podcast. I 89:55 Think it is. Yeah. No, I'm saying this episode 89:59 Maybe no, but we don't know where it's going. What if we all die tomorrow? Yeah, we make this historic 90:07 That's true 90:09 Something to think about that's kind of what tomorrow Davis is going for he's like I'm gonna make a bet the Jets 90:14 We're gonna win the Super Bowl this year. I'm gonna say this win is historic 90:18 Well, he's right to a certain extent because like 90:20 Historically, they lose that game every single time. Yeah. Yeah, like Geno Smith fumbling at the 50 90:26 the like Browns get that go get a touchdown. 90:28 But like they didn't nail the Browns. 90:31 Yeah. Well, it was yeah. 90:32 It's 31. 90:33 That was that's true. 90:35 Three and one team put some some respect on them. 90:38 They just won the game in the century less than 10 days ago. 90:42 Yeah. The the the sequence of the Browns up 12 10 90:47 getting the fumble with four minutes left being 90:50 like the Browns are going to win this game. 90:52 They're going to you know that that pass. 90:55 Who was that to Denzel Boston that that was a nice pass from from Sean Watson their offense kind of woke up at the end 91:01 So you're like all right the Browns have the ball games over. They just got the ball. They're just gonna you know run the ball 91:08 they go three and out and 91:11 Then just sky it over Bajorca's his head and the Jets win the game Braylon Allen Braylon Allen was awesome 91:18 Yeah, they should have just been going to him the entire time 91:20 when they played the Packers they didn't run the ball enough and 91:25 even today, they didn't run the ball enough like 91:28 Aaron Glenn figured out on defense how to call a game in the rain. It's just blitz not stop 91:33 but like Frank Reich still hasn't but 91:36 Squeaked one out. Yeah, yeah memes. I have a question for you about certain things that some Browns fans have been saying regarding makeup 91:44 That's Patrick 91:46 Yes, is he a dirty player and or does he just hate the Browns? I 91:51 Don't believe so I think because he's he had this one hit against Concepcion 91:57 Looked to be helmet to helmet now granted Concepcion kind of like ducked his head as he turned 92:02 I don't know that Mika was going for his head, but there's a history. I guess he also took out Nick Chubb, too 92:08 That's what they were saying, but that was that was a clean hit like was it? What's he supposed to do not hit him? 92:13 Which one today? 92:15 play. Yeah, I think that it was like a bank bank play where receiver kind of moved his head 92:21 kind of into the strike zone. Yeah, that was just a football hit. It was bad though. Like 92:26 it's a bad concussion. I don't want to say get your weight up, but like he should get 92:31 it. Oh, okay. All right. Okay. I agree with you memes that Aaron Glenn called a great 92:36 game. Let's fuck out of him. David Bailey was awesome. I feel like every time we looked 92:43 up. He was either chasing, he was either getting a sack, getting a pressure or Deshaun was trying 92:49 to scramble and he was like running him down. He was sick. Yeah, David Bailey is awesome. He's 92:55 been getting some slack online and he also hasn't seen that because I don't think he has internet, 93:00 which is, which is awesome. Yeah. So it was just a really good bounce back week from him 93:04 because there's there's on the other side town is Arvel Reese, who's been popping off. So 93:09 people are saying David Bailey might have been a miss. 93:12 But today was a phenomenal bounce back. 93:14 Yeah, you had three sacks, nine pressures. 93:16 Like you said, Aaron Glenn blits the fuck out of the Browns, 93:20 which was the smart game plan, 93:22 especially when Concepcion went out. 93:24 And by the way, I know this is a meatball thing, 93:27 but I say a bond. 93:30 You have to put on gloves 93:31 when you keep dropping the ball in the ring. 93:33 You cannot just, you cannot be, 93:36 it's same with Camp Scatterby with the football. 93:38 You cannot be the guy without gloves on in the rain and fuck it up 93:41 If you catch everything and you have no gloves on fine 93:44 The minute you drop one pass and you have no gloves on you got to put the gloves on immediately 93:51 You just can't you can't be seen like that. It's too easy too easy to point out. Yeah. Yeah 93:56 It's just so easy. My favorite drive of the week was in this game 93:59 It was a five-play drive by the Browns. It was after a kickoff in the fourth quarter 94:04 Jets were leading 10 to 6 94:07 And it went in completion 30-yard completion five-yard penalty 94:14 Sack for minus ten yards five-yard penalty in completion sack for minus eight yards punt 94:21 Hmm. It was a five-play drive 94:25 Two minutes 29 seconds with a 30-yard completion that gained two yards before the pond browns out browns 94:32 Browns out jetted the jets. Is that what you said? Yeah, I'm trying to find a better way to say it 94:39 The the Browns out the Browns charged despite the Jets falconing 94:48 Correct. Okay. Well, no, the jets didn't have enough big enough lead to Falcon. There's a close game 94:56 throughout 94:57 Yeah, I'm trying to figure out a different way to put it. I think that's pretty clear 95:01 I think just the Browns the Browns Browning was stronger than the Jets jet jet sing today 95:06 Yes, that's like it was yeah, they their force was stronger and in Braille and Allen Garrett Wilson 95:12 They had 220 of the 276 yards the Jets had on offense today. They were awesome. Yeah, that first job was sick 95:19 I thought we're gonna score a million. I did to I did to so are we pumping the brakes on Todd munkin to the Hall of Fame 95:26 Yeah, I never put him in the Hall of Fame. I would say we're good right now 95:30 I had him in the Hall of Fame. Yeah. Yeah, I think he's dropped a frickin the oh 95:34 I said we all got to take a big frickin bite out of this because it's not good enough. I love that. I 95:39 Love him quote also. Apparently. There's another another TV show about the Browns 95:44 About a fictional Browns team. Okay, it's Christopher Maloney from law and order. They're like she's 18. You sick fuck 95:51 You know that yeah, I guess he plays the head coach of the Browns. Oh and a show that's just coming out right now. I 95:59 Think it's called the land 96:01 and his son is like the Ohio State quarterback. That's pretty cool. And he tries to draft 96:06 his son. 96:06 What was that noise Hank? What's a show about Cleveland? Hank. You watched draft a TV show. 96:14 Hey, Roger Kedel's in it. All your favorites. Hank, we had a nice time in Cleveland that 96:18 one time we went. Can I make my bed a bunch of times. Remember that one time we went? 96:22 We walked around. It was a beautiful Sunday day. It was the Jake Paul fight. Or was 96:27 I mean, how are you going to have a great time if there's one team? I've never seen draft have Chris from alone 96:33 What's from lawn order plate coach? We've talked about it on this show. TFT 96:37 So many times. I'm just thinking about the scene with him and to Sean Watson. Like how's that going to go? 96:43 No, you miss what thanks. Oh, sorry. I was just locked in on that fantasy. What was that anymore? 96:47 Hank say it again. There's too many conversations. I agree, but it's we got to focus on what Hank just tried to reveal to us 96:55 I've been holding this in for a long time. I probably should have just done it at some point 96:59 I've never seen draft day. I think you have homework. Yeah, you got to see it 97:05 Yeah, I see draft a Hank. It's so it's so good. You're not missing much. Oh 97:10 Whoa, it's fucked up draft days an excellent film excellent film 97:13 And I've never said that it would be one of the worst movies ever made if it didn't have official NFL logos in it 97:18 I've never said that 97:21 But because it does area you ate area. Yeah, you do here. I love it. He's in it. It's also 97:26 Character he plays one main care. It's wildly fictional too because it's the the Wisconsin quarterbacks going 1-1 overall 97:33 And also the Cleveland Browns having a functional front office 97:37 They do they fucking hose the Jaguars in that movie. Yeah big time that GM. He's 97:43 He's got to watch you should watch you know watch 97:46 memes next week. What are you thinking? 97:48 after a historic win after a historic win season back on if you win the game 97:54 you're three and three the Patriots are three and three you control your own 97:58 destiny in the division wow factor fiction Hank the amount Hank is like 98:07 considering the Jets is a word where the adversary is less than zero 98:11 welcome to this podcast yeah no I know it's like if I'm speaking freely we 98:17 We don't go in there and win. 98:19 Yeah. 98:20 Ever. 98:22 But now. 98:22 And we stay. 98:23 But now Ben Johnson's your coach. 98:25 Ben Johnson is our coach, but like we. 98:27 Yeah, you got all Ben Johnson's powers. 98:30 Aaron Glenn doing the flag, the red flag, 98:33 the challenge flag was very funny. 98:34 Yeah. 98:35 All time gift. 98:36 I love him. 98:36 I know some Jeff Vans won't like that. 98:38 I love him. 98:39 I think he might be turning the corner. 98:41 I mean, Dan Campbell didn't do it in one year. 98:45 Yeah, that's true. 98:46 They there's a lot of comparisons to him. Yeah, I've called a great game today. He's he's building the culture 98:54 The 2022 lines they serve what one and seven. Yeah, they're really been really finished nine and eight. Yeah 99:01 So 99:02 Might be might be things might be turning. Okay next up Bengals 31 Dolphins 24 99:13 What was 99:14 They got lucky because it was the Browns if they had lost the game which they should have lost the game 99:19 It would not be things have turned the corner 99:22 You're only saying that because at the end of the day they won correct, but like they never listen to show a no 99:29 I know but like the I play the results. Yeah 99:34 Okay, that's really good. You know what? Hey, you it was it was a torrential downpour 99:38 You just need to let people always gale force wins. You let memes enjoy this 99:42 You guys are gonna be able to settle it on the field. Yeah, I agree 99:47 Sucked I wasted three hours watching that shit 99:49 There was two good drives and one of them was half a drive which was at the end of the game 99:53 That was a Braille Allen touch. Yeah, it was a Braille Allen run and that was that was it 99:57 And the first drive of the game. Yeah in the first drive of the game 99:59 Everything in between was dog shit, and they never went back to Garrett Wilson 100:03 Or saying call some Garrett Allen. Well, yeah, the Browns made adjustments, which is smart. Yeah, but everybody is coming back next week 100:11 Everyone everyone who oh Mark Cooper of Ries Hall. Oh, that's actually good left guard. Mm-hmm Adnan Mitchell 100:18 We're coming. They're coming. They're probably right now sit at home listen to Hank 100:23 This is bulletin board material for their ears bring it. You just call them Adnan Mitchell at night like the 100:29 Guy from cereal. I'm gonna put the jets in my hunger dog. Is that still in jail? 100:35 I 100:35 Yeah, I think so. Oh, can you imagine and I'm sorry eggs. Yeah, did the woman never say that she was in love 100:40 Yes, she was clearly in love with him. Yeah, what are you gonna say me? Zack? Can you imagine if they win next week? 100:46 that 100:46 emergency pot 100:47 Hey, it's iron. It's iron. It's literally like saying was an emergency pod like we every that's it every time you saying imagine if the 100:59 Just be Hank is treating it like 101:01 Someone saying imagine if the Sun didn't rise tomorrow 101:05 Yeah, we'd be in trouble 101:08 Well, how bad would it be if the Jets beat you? 101:11 horrible 101:13 Seasons over. Oh 101:15 So you have to 101:16 done with the season 101:19 Mentally like tank 101:20 Yeah 101:22 Change the name change everything 101:25 And you'd be his bitch for a week. Yeah to French. Oh, no, no, no, it'd be longer 101:30 Well, until you played again. No, no winning in in Fox, but then he would come potentially win in Jersey. Yeah, but we stink 101:39 Okay. All right, sure. Uh, Bengal 31 Dolphins 24 ass kicking. Yeah 101:45 I'll say that the Dolphins 101:47 Nikki smokes our co-worker who's Dolphins fan 101:50 He did put a point out that they're not the worst oh and four team and then we're like or he said they're the best 101:55 Oh and 14. Yeah, and then we're like what about the Texans the Texans were about to win their first game 102:00 He's like, well, they weren't supposed to be owned for. 102:03 And he's like, or like, what about the Chargers? 102:05 Like, well, they weren't supposed to be owned for. 102:06 So he's basically saying the Dolphins are better than Titans. 102:09 I agree. Yeah, he's right. 102:10 He's right. They're the only true good 0 and 5 team, right? 102:15 They're tanking perfectly. 102:16 They have a lot of young talent. 102:18 The young talent plays hard. Ethical. 102:21 Their coach seems to know what he's doing generally. 102:25 And Malik Willis is just not very good. 102:28 Well, is Malik Willis not good or was he just tipping pitches? 102:32 Maybe he was tipping pitches. 102:33 Because Battle, like publicly before the game, said, yeah, he's got to tell. 102:39 Here's what his tell is. 102:40 We're watching that. 102:41 We're going to be able to get the jump on him. 102:42 Wow. 102:43 And then that's exactly what he did. 102:45 I think he had two picks on Willis. 102:47 He had two. 102:48 Yeah. 102:49 He had, uh... 102:50 Or did he have one interception? 102:51 I think he had one. 102:52 But the Malik Willis threw more interceptions than 102:56 completions 102:58 With one minute left in the first half he had more interceptions. Yeah, so he had one one completion going into half-time there 103:05 Oh, yeah, yeah battle battle picked him off on back-to-back drives in the second quarter 103:09 Yeah, so he did have a tell so maybe just we fix that and then we fix the dolphins 103:14 The Bengals are going into the buy for the first time with a winning record since 2022 103:20 I know their bias changed where it's been, but good for the Bengals. 103:25 I still think they have to figure out how to run the ball because you saw it at the end of the game. 103:29 The Dolphins had an all-time backdoor cover in this game or backdoor push. 103:32 Should have been a backdoor cover, missed the extra point. 103:35 So that was basically our big witching hour gambling switch that was happening. 103:41 And so that to me is like watching that game. 103:45 The Bengals just they couldn't they couldn't fully put the Dolphins away 103:48 just because he couldn't just get first downs running the ball. 103:51 Jamar Chase also made just an insane, insane touchdown catch. 103:56 He's so good. 103:57 Yeah, he's very back. 103:59 Yeah. 103:59 So I think the Bengals are in a good spot going into the buy. 104:03 Then they have the Ravens. 104:04 So the big, big like test on what the Bengals are. 104:08 The Bengals, they're crazy healthy. 104:11 Yeah. 104:11 This is like the good, you know what? 104:13 I'm going to stop talking because I feel like if I say anything else, 104:16 it's a big time jinx of them. 104:17 Yeah, stop talking. 104:18 It's nice to see the Bengals playing with their best players. Yeah, they're very good 104:23 But Joe Burrow got a little time. I think he's I think he's kind of like I didn't like the media anymore 104:27 No, I like this. He said the reporter asked how hot was it? He said, I don't know. I'm sure you can check the weather report, man 104:34 I like that response. It's like Bart Simpson. I mean, it is true 104:37 Like there's a temperature on your phone. Yeah, so asking Joe Burrow after the game 104:42 How hot was it is a pretty big waste of your question. Yeah, why don't you why don't you look at the weather channel, man? 104:47 Yeah, check out the weather channel. All right, let's keep moving 104:51 Because that this these are the non competitive games that we saw next non competitive game Vikings 23 Saints 13 104:59 Big stories the Vikings offense look good for the first time this season Kyler looks good 105:05 Started the game 12 for 12 was running so cute running 105:10 Justin Jefferson made an insane catch touchdown catch and the Vikings defense had Tyler Shuck 105:16 in absolute hell our boys going through it Max he's going through it yeah it was not good 105:22 but hey listen he's still he's still young quarterback you got to go through through 105:27 some adversity at this point in your career it's all about how he bounces back that's 105:32 true did I read right that Flores blitz 90% of the times that I I don't think so I think 105:39 He puts 61% 61% of the time. Yeah, that's the floor the Vikings defense is so good. Like you want some crazy Vikings defense 105:46 stats 105:49 Let's see I had them all written down. Hold on. I gotta pull them up the the Vikings 105:55 Hold on. Oh, there was some Calamore bad stats Calamore's got to figure it out. They 106:00 He's coached 22 games for the Saints. They have one first quarter lead 106:07 four first half leads, they start every game slow. 106:10 It's crazy watching them start these games. 106:13 It just, it, they just keep putting themselves in holes. 106:17 And when you're playing a team like the Vikings, 106:19 you got no chance of getting out of that hole 106:22 because they're so fucking good. 106:24 Oh, here it is. 106:25 The Vikings defense has allowed three touchdowns 106:28 since half time of the opener. 106:30 That's four and a half games. 106:32 They've allowed three touchdowns, three touchdowns. 106:36 opposing offenses, third down conversions against the Minnesota Vikings defense this year, 106:42 14 for 63, 22%. That's insane. 22% teams are converting on, on third down against the Vikings 106:51 defense. They are so good. And Kyler again played really well. So now you see like the full picture. 106:58 It's like, Oh shit, this team could be very scary if their offense comes along. And I think 107:04 even Addison went out, Hawkinson got a concussion, so it was basically just throwing it up to 107:10 Justin Jefferson. I don't know, man. That was impressive. They had the Saints in absolute 107:16 hell. Yeah, there was one moment where it looked 107:18 like things were turned around for the Saints. Chase Young got that fumble, ran back with 107:22 it, and it was like, oh, well, it might be Frisky, and then absolutely nothing. 107:27 It's just been a couple weeks of terrible vibes in the dome. Bad times in the dome. 107:32 Shucks said I'd boo too like he understands like that sucks. Mm-hmm. Yeah, he was on Drew Brees night 107:39 Today was Drew Brees. It was Drew Brees night tonight. Whoa, so they they inducted him to the ring of honor 107:44 Oh, which I was kind of surprised that he wasn't already, but I guess they were like baby 107:48 He'll come back. Maybe yeah, maybe that's when it's real. That's when it's like we're not we're not 107:53 Yeah, yeah, but yeah, I was impressive Kyler looking good scared me 107:57 He ran the ball well to today. 107:59 He ran it 10 times for 51 yards. 108:00 And he again, he looks so cute running, 108:02 but when Kyler starts to run, now it's like, uh-oh, 108:06 he might be feeling, I think it was his best game. 108:08 I saw the stats since like 2024. 108:11 He's getting used to it. Yeah. Yeah. 108:12 He's getting used to being back out there. 108:14 Okay. Last game from the early sleep. 108:17 Texans 26, Titans three. 108:19 I feel like we just don't have to talk 108:21 about the Titans anymore, right? 108:23 The only note I had here was, 108:24 I feel like it was kind of fucked up of Demico Ryan to pick this is the game that he was taking 108:31 back control of defensive play calling. That's such a layup. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? 108:37 He's like, yeah, we I he's like, I need to get back in charge of the defense. Oh, 108:41 shit, we're playing the Titans. OK, I guess I'll do it for this week. Well, yeah, 108:44 it's a really easy one. It's a really easy one for today was just a great day for him. 108:48 He's like, I'm going to get to call the plays against this defense. And then afterwards, 108:52 I'm going to go to the podium and I'm going to talk about how we just got Marvin Harrison. 108:55 So let's talk about the Marvin Harrison thing because Adam Schefter one of the weirdest tweets 109:01 on was it Saturday morning when he's like Marvin Harrison has been traded. 109:06 Yeah. 109:06 But just didn't say where. 109:09 And he's been doing this for a couple of years, but Kat, he knows that some people have 109:13 notifications on for his tweets and he knows exactly where they cut off. 109:19 and so on the notification has been traded and then dot dot dot yeah then you 109:25 open it up and it's just like that's the end of the story so we're we got a lot 109:29 of things we write this down Zach because we got a lot of things we got to talk 109:32 to Adam Schefter about when we see him at the combine yeah he's he reported what 109:37 was the initial tweet it was Saturday morning yeah I'm looking for it it was 109:42 so weird, but I will say it maybe here it is breaking the Arizona Cardinals are 109:49 finalizing a deal to trade Marvin Harrison sources tell me in rap sheet 109:53 the team informed Harrison this morning that it would be inactive for Sunday's 109:56 game for just verse Detroit as details of the trade are finalized just 110:00 nothing about where nothing so I have a question for you guys were the Titans 110:06 or the sorry the Texans basically like hey we're gonna trade for Marvin 110:11 Harrison if we beat the Titans like we're on four if we can't beat the Titans the season's over 110:20 we can't be taking this on yeah right when we beat the Titans we'll then do the trade yeah I think 110:25 that's what happened right I think that's exactly what happened that's so funny and and yeah because 110:31 and they're not wrong yeah they're like if they'd lost if they'd lost the Titans they should pack 110:36 it right they were like we got to test this thing out yeah like let's just make sure that we're 110:39 not really, really bad. As soon as we, as soon as we get the 110:43 answer, we'll let you know, we'll do the trade. Yep. And 110:46 that's what happened. That's I also am I crazy? I think I'm 110:50 just a sucker for like, you know, rekindling. But yeah, CJ 110:54 Stroud and Marvin Harrison, I think it's gonna work. I think 110:56 he's and you know what? It's Columbus Day. Mm, two Buckeyes 111:00 getting back together. Yep. See, he's shot looks good. I 111:03 mean, he he hit seven guys had at least two catches. Oh, I 111:08 one Titans thing. I mean I'm done with Cam Ward. Here's the stat that sums up why I'm 111:15 done with Cam Ward. He had in the first half, he had zero passes completed over ten air 111:22 yards, but he also had two pass attempts under two and a half seconds released. So he's 111:27 holding onto the ball and still not throwing it deep. It's terrible to watch. 111:32 Yeah. So he, here's one good thing for the Titans. Last year, the Titans played against 111:38 the Texans and they lost 26 to nothing. This year, 26 to three. Okay. So it's improvement. 111:45 Okay. Salah also called the Texans the best 0 and 14 in NFL history. Okay. So there's that, 111:52 which we'll have to go through the all time rankings and get back to him on what that is. 111:56 Yeah. By the way, there's also not benching cam board. He said he's a starter. 112:00 Okay, that's good the history of top five overall draft picks traded within the first three seasons not exactly great 112:08 So Trey Lance Trent Richardson Aaron Curry remember him wake for us 112:14 That and by the way Aaron Curry was the one thing everyone said about him 112:19 This is the safest pick that you will ever see made in the top. Yeah. Yeah, and then gains Adams 112:24 So those are all the the four that have happened in the last 25 years. So maybe 112:30 CJ Stroud and Marvin Harrison back together will will do it. I do think that this could be 112:36 I don't know because I'm of the mindset that Marvin Harrison jr. Didn't forget how to play wide receiver 112:41 Because he was it didn't look like that when he was in college. You know, it doesn't help him either 112:46 The fact that Jeremiah Smith is so good. That's true. But everyone's like 112:50 But what I'm saying is like I don't think that helps Marvin Harrison. It doesn't help Jeremiah Smith. Oh, no 112:55 I think Jeremiah Smith Marvin Harrison was 112:59 Jeremiah Smith it looked different when he was in college that like he he ran Chris 113:05 It was like sharp turns CJ strong change of pace 113:08 Explosiveness those CJ shrub. Yeah, so like he did not I don't think he forgot how to play football 113:13 I think for whatever reason 113:14 something 113:16 Went wrong and maybe it's like just what we're seeing with college athletes now 113:20 You get paid in college then you go to the pros football is not as fun anymore for you 113:24 Yeah, and you get bummed out and you play for a shitty team sometimes for whatever reason it just didn't work in Arizona 113:31 And I do think that a change of pace might help him out. Yeah, I'd agree 113:35 It's good move by the Texans. They need the better their offenses like we know their defense is gonna 113:41 Round into shape especially with Miko Ryan's. I mean look at he called the plays for one game 113:46 They gave up three points 113:47 Will Anderson jr. Had an amazing game. Yeah, their defense is awesome 113:51 And the Texans the Titans do not have a real offense cam Ward 113:56 I 113:57 Titans fans tell me if I'm wrong like are you done with them? I feel like I 114:02 Feel like you gotta be done with them. Yeah 114:04 Yes, big picture. Yes, but also if you're the Titans you realize that 114:10 Playing the rest of the season with cam Ward. Oh, yeah, but is also the right thing to do 114:13 Yeah, no, I'm not saying not playing him this year, but like you have to look done but done believing that he will be the future 114:18 of the team next year might be 114:20 Let's draft a quarterback. Thank you to bluetooth for sponsoring the pod in the bedroom 116:24 Okay Broncos 23 Chargers 17 116:29 Cardiac Broncos back come back kids. They were down 1710 in the fourth quarter and then 116:35 Then big stupid pick guy showed up as partially big stupid pick guy partially stupid fumble 116:42 guy big stupid didn't get fourth and one guy. 116:46 Yeah. 116:47 So the the Chargers had five possessions in the in the fourth quarter. 116:52 They went punt turnover on downs fumble pick sack to end the game. 116:57 Yeah. 116:57 They're all line is such a mess. 116:59 I know that. 117:00 Very bad. 117:00 Justin Herbert also looks like he had no one to put I actually you know what 117:06 I'm not gonna put anyone doesn't make excuse. No, no, I he's been bad this year 117:10 I'm actually not gonna blame this one on him just because hold on 117:16 The pick the fumble I blame on him the pick was fourth and six. He had to try to do something 117:22 He literally had no one to throw to end the offensive line socked 117:25 But the fumble was the fumble is what lost them the game 117:27 They were all you do is take a sack there and punted away because the Charter's defense playing really well Broncos offense still sucks 117:34 Sean Payton took it over the numbers somehow got worse 117:37 But yeah, the the the pick the big stupid pick that wasn't as stupid as like it was fourth and six 117:43 He had to just throw it the Chargers out game the Broncos 237 to 224 the out rushed in for 155 to 106 117:50 they held the ball longer the Broncos went 1 for 12 on third downs and 117:56 Still found a way to win the game and Sean Payton 117:59 And kicking that field goal on the one yard line was like some chicken shit football, 118:04 but it's also very disrespectful that he was like, yeah, we'll take the three points from 118:07 the one because that's how little faith I have. 118:10 Yeah. 118:10 And Justin Herbert to do anything good right. 118:12 I actually thought it was the correct move because like they're the Chargers are not 118:15 going to they had the Kamani Vidal run and like like the Chargers aren't going to 118:18 be able to get down the field. 118:20 Their office is such a broken piece of shit. 118:23 And Justin Herbert does deserve a lot of blame. 118:25 But that the pit, I'm just not calling him a big stupid pit guy. 118:28 He's a big stupid fumble guy this week. 118:30 The fumble was bad. 118:32 It was kind of a stupid pick. 118:33 Well, it was fourth and sixth. 118:34 You got to throw it. 118:35 Yeah, you got to chuck it down there. 118:36 You can't, it didn't, like. 118:39 The stupid pick last week was a banner weekend 118:41 and stupid picks. 118:43 The first one that he said, he's been bad. 118:45 Justin Herbert's been bad this year. 118:47 It's also true that everybody around him 118:49 is currently in the morgue. 118:52 Do you think, are we worried at all about 118:54 Jim Harbaugh's mental health? 118:56 Yes, yes. 118:58 He's lost eight straight football games. Yes, that's never happened eight straight. Well, it has when he was a player 119:04 But yeah, but not as a coach not as a coach. Yeah. Yes, I'm very worried about him 119:08 They asked him like what the message was for a team that's on five and he just goes I don't know 119:14 And guess what they had to play the Chiefs off a bye 119:18 This is when they turn around 119:20 Andy read off a bye the fact that the Chargers didn't cover this game is insane 119:25 They were up 17 10 there plus three and a half 119:28 They're up 17 10 in the fourth quarter and the Broncos couldn't do anything. The Broncos got worse offensively with Sean Payton 119:35 It's crazy. Yeah, I still don't wait Broncos are three and two 119:39 I don't really understand them at all like I don't think they're good 119:43 But they keep finding ways to win games if they beat the Seahawks on Thursday night football 119:47 I'm just like I'll just throw my hands up like this team's just 119:51 Magic there's just something about the fourth quarter and bow next 119:55 Yeah, I mean he didn't push the ball down the field much at all again today 119:59 I didn't but he just they figure out a way to call the perfect play at the perfect time 120:04 To win the game to win the game and that's that all the game winning play that's happened for the last two years 120:08 It just continues to happen. I don't know what it is 120:11 Even Broncos fans probably don't think that there's not a like 120:14 There's not a whole lot of confidence because they haven't reached that part this in the season yet where they just 120:19 Say let go close your eyes and trust that everything's gonna work out because it always does 120:23 But it's it's getting to that point where I'm about to just say fourth quarter if it's a within one score 120:29 Just yeah, let let bow next take the wheel and good things are gonna happen. Yeah. Yeah, okay 120:36 Should we go Lions 45 Cardinals 21? This was 120:40 everything I've ever said about Jacobi reset if you didn't watch the game 120:44 Jacobi reset was six for eight fifty eight yards of touchdown on the first drive 120:48 He was seven for 12 60 yards of touchdown on the last drive and in between he was garbage 120:54 Mm-hmm. There was the perfect you go be your second. Yeah. Well, they also ran a sick Philly special 120:59 Yeah on fourth and one. Yeah, where's Michael Wilson throwing to preset for like a four yard game got the first down 121:05 Yeah, that was the hardest. I've seen a team work to get four yards. Yeah. Hey, it worked and the Lions defense played well 121:12 I know it's against the Cardinals offense, but they played well Lions offense was awesome 121:16 and it felt like everyone, like Gibbs was incredible. 121:19 He is incredible. 121:21 He had more yards from scrimmage in the first half 121:23 than the Cardinals did as a team. 121:26 Laporta was sick. 121:27 J-Mo got going. 121:29 It felt like the Lions full offense like woke up today 121:33 and they started a little slow again, 121:36 but then once they found their gear, they was just off. 121:38 It was over at halftime. 121:39 They haven't scored a touchdown 121:40 in the first quarter yet this year. 121:42 Did they not score one today? 121:43 I don't think they did. 121:44 Did they? 121:45 I think I know going into today. They didn't have one when you're talking about like their slow start 121:50 Yeah, no, they they have been starting. So yeah, I don't seven nothing today. Yeah down seven nothing 121:54 They know then the second quarter they scored 24. They went off. Yeah, Gibbs. Yeah, you're right great 122:00 Absolutely outstanding game by Gibbs Gibbs has now tied Barry Sanders for most scrimmage yards 122:07 Or most scrimmage touchdowns before turning 25 in NFL history. He's 57 122:12 He's so sick and he scored 58 shortly after that. Yeah, I just saw the update now. He's at 58 122:17 So he surpassed Barry Sanders on that list 122:19 Also, if you want to just like if you're a fan of awesome catches 122:24 Trey McBride might have had the best touchdown catch that meant absolutely nothing in a blowout loss 122:30 yeah, I tipped it to himself got his feet and bounds and 122:35 And somehow like hovered over the defender and and got control before he was pushed out 122:42 to cut the lead to 45-21 with like five minutes left in the game it was sick 122:49 catch that's it so Dan Campbell asked for 35 points at a minimum to win this 122:55 game and he got it and he's done with less he's realistic realistic because I'm 123:00 sure that if they'd scored 31 points it would find a way to screw something up 123:03 in the in the fourth quarter but yeah the the defense I I don't know did the 123:08 Did the defense look better or were they just playing the Cardinals? 123:11 Uh, yeah, that's probably a little bit of both. 123:13 I mean, they did get five sacks, I think, uh, so that's, that's at least something. 123:17 But yeah, I think that Jacobi percent might, might be the most comfortable quarterback to 123:21 sack. 123:21 And yeah, right now. 123:22 Oh yeah. 123:23 You look at big pillow. 123:24 You look around the league and that's probably might not be the funnest to sack, but in 123:27 terms of like, it's like you're jumping into a bunk bed when you hit Jacobi percent. 123:32 Also Jared is a 12 touchdowns, zero interceptions through the, to the start of the season. 123:37 Yeah, some of the some of the monitor. They've been. I mean, they were offenses. 123:42 I the bill's game was like that was a lot of offense when they were kind of already 123:46 getting getting blown out. But like if the Lions can just have a 123:51 middle of the pack defense or a good team shared with a rushing touchdown today, too. Yeah. 123:58 Yeah, that's right. Dude, he does it all. Michael Ford said, I know we're better 124:03 than that, but that doesn't mean shit right now. I don't know if you are. 124:07 No offense mm-hmm. I don't think the Cardinals are better than I think baby 124:11 is thinking like I think we're closer to the team that we looked like in the first 124:16 half of the first half oh of the first of this game of this game yeah 124:21 jacob said always looks like yeah I think he's like that's closer to who I 124:26 think that we are because when I watch us play in practice that's what I see 124:31 has a win has a shocking win ever aged worse than the Cardinals beating the 124:37 Chargers week one remember we all were like holy fuck Cardinals might be good
