Today is Wednesday, October 14th. And boys, we got some baseball. We got some 2:30 playoff baseball. I don't know which one we want to start with. Actually, let's start 2:33 with the game. We just watched the guardians in the rays are tied one one Monday night. 2:38 the guardians in an all time, I expected nothing out of them. And then they somehow woke up 2:45 and delivered like never have I been more sure watching a game PFT where the rays jumped 2:50 on them to nothing in the top of the first, the guardians just finished a five game series 2:55 like 36 hours ago, hung over whatever you want to call it. And then the guardians 3:01 just were like, you know what, let's just, let's just keep riding this, this wave. 3:05 They got shut out through five innings, but then scored in the sixth, seventh, 3:09 eighth and ninth and took game one, raise, take game two. 3:13 We're going back to Cleveland one, one tilted the series one, one. 3:18 That's all the guardians wanted to do. 3:20 Take it back to the sea. 3:21 Yeah. What's going on with Tropicana field? 3:24 What's going on with empty seats and in the ALCS? 3:28 I don't even care about the empty seats. 3:30 I'm I'm sorry, Trop. 3:32 Well, actually, you know what? 3:33 I'm not sorry because I think raised fans know exactly. 3:35 They completely agree with this. 3:37 And when I say like there's seats, I'm not saying I'm not saying like all the fans there 3:42 suck. 3:43 The fans that are diehard fans of the devil raise are the rays that were in double race 3:46 night, which were awesome. 3:48 Yeah, they were great. 3:49 Great throwbacks. 3:50 Awesome fans. 3:50 The fans there that care. 3:52 They are incredible fans. 3:54 The problem is there's just not enough for you guys. 3:56 Not enough. 3:57 And let's just be honest. 3:59 There's no aura or like mystique when you're watching an ALCS game in Tropicana field and 4:07 every fucking time there's a fly ball, the announcer's like, nope, didn't hit the rings. 4:12 Oh, that might have hit the rings. Even in the ninth, there was the ball that the right 4:17 fielder just stood there and kind of let it like fly like, oh, did it hit the rings? 4:21 Why the like, what are we playing? Star Fox? What the fuck is this? 4:24 Yeah. Do they have a do they have an umpire in the postseason that's up in the catwalk 4:29 like closer to the ceiling to see there actually should be a guy up there wearing like a full 4:33 on MLB umpire uniform that's as close to the roof as possible to see if the ball hits 4:37 it. Yeah. There's no war in that stadium whatsoever. But you know, who does have or it's fastball 4:41 Freddie. Yeah. Freddy Peralta was really good tonight. Jose Ramirez error, which 4:46 I that was it was an error, but it also was the TROP like having weird bounces 4:53 because it's fake turf. What are you looking at? What are you sitting in Max? They did 4:58 call it an error. Yeah. That was a for sure an error. He's got it. I know. I know. I'm 5:02 saying I'm saying it was an error. It was definitely an error, but I'm saying the bounce 5:05 that happened because the trap has weird fake turf and baseball shouldn't be played 5:10 on fake turf. It was part of it. He's got to go. He had 100 times out of a hundred. 5:16 He had to go after it. Yeah. He had to, he had to charge it. He did. He let it 5:20 like come to him and to eat him up. Yeah, you can't let that ball eat you up. You can't 5:26 but I'm not I'm not I'm not giving him a trot pass. Oh, I'm going against a routine ball. 5:30 I'm going against a trot. They got they got to move out of Tampa. They got to move out 5:33 of Tampa. Not real stadium. No, they got to move. They got to move. I don't care if 5:38 they have a slightly nicer stadium. I don't think people in Tampa would go to the games. 5:44 It's just hard to get it's impossible to get to the drop. Yeah, exactly. It's 5:50 go nice. It is the ALCS. Everyone says winning cures all. You're the best team in baseball. 5:59 How do you have that? Not true. Not true. The Brewers are, but yeah. Okay, fine. You're the best 6:04 team in the AL. Fucking semantics. It's a joke. It's a fucking joke how many empty seats there 6:11 are on a night game. You have no excuse not to get there. I don't care how hard it is or what 6:16 The fucking traffic is there's always traffic. There's always traffic getting get into fucking stadium. You're right 6:22 You're asked to the stadium. It's playoff baseball. You're trying to go to the world series move out of Tampa 6:29 Is that Zach Zach? Why why is it so hard to get there traffic try to cross that bridge max? 6:35 You never been you never been over the bridge is it you get car locked 6:40 You want to listen to the game on the radio in your car? That's what you get. That's what you end up doing 6:45 impossible to give a fuck about the race. No. If we're coming for stadium, you're the 6:50 perfect example. You live in Tampa. You couldn't name three players on the team. No one in Tampa 6:55 cares about the race. Move out of Tampa. 35 to 40 men's east, but still, uh, did you 7:00 see the renters for the new ballpark though? Yes, the 360 glass. Pretty sick. Come on. They 7:06 should put her find a way to show up to that either. And it's crazy because the 7:11 really, really good in their front office is awesome. Um, I will, I will say that like 7:15 this first two games, this was a win for Cleveland to get one of these and to have Gavin Williams 7:21 ready to go. Like that's, that's a huge win, uh, for, for Cleveland. And they, again, 7:27 I was like Monday night was, it was shocking to me. I had like, I think guardians fans 7:32 probably were like, well, probably scheduled loss. Like we're going against their ACE, 7:36 They're rested. We're coming off a five game series. 7:40 And I thought the race did some weird shit with their bullpen. 7:43 I think they had a guy pitch who was like, 7:44 who hadn't pitched since like April or something. It was very bizarre. 7:47 They never, they were, they were in a tied game in the late innings. 7:51 Their closer never got in like the high leverage situations. I don't know. 7:55 So when for the Guardians to be one one going back to Cleveland? 7:59 I, if I, if it were me and I, I won game one on the road like that, 8:03 I would for sure blow it in game two. 8:05 I don't care. It would be such a big letdown spot for me personally, but um, but they still even had a moment 8:11 They had a moment. They had a moment or hit that double. Yeah, just a lot is awesome. Love watching him play 8:16 Regardless of the fact that he went to Jamie. He's an awesome player 8:19 And he always seems to be the guy that like if there's no spark if the guardians are having an off night 8:23 He's the guy that kind of stirs the drink that gets him going and then people kind of feed off that 8:28 but yeah, they're going back to Cleveland and 8:30 They are I don't think Marlon's man is going to be in attendance, right? 8:34 He doesn't go to the Cleveland games. No. Yeah, because not because the 8:38 Guardians fans are mean to him, but it has nothing to do 8:41 I think it's guardians fans are mean to me has nothing to do with the fact that the seats behind home plate are raised 8:46 So you can't see anyone right? I don't think he knows if he's on camera or not, right? 8:50 Right. So that's never crossed his mind is mostly about the fact that like one guy said something mean they were mean to him 8:55 Yes, 2016. Yeah, and then the other series the burrs. I mean listen, I'm not rooting for him 9:02 But they are so good at baseball and it's crazy. 9:06 I I I know people thought I was trying to jinx it like two weeks ago 9:10 when I was like, just get used to it. 9:11 The Brewers are going to win the World Series. 9:12 But that game Yamamoto is the guy. 9:16 He is the guy that you throw who like is just a fucking stud 9:20 when it comes to playoff baseball. 9:22 I think the only other team that that has ever like touched him up 9:25 like that or chased him like that was the Phillies last year. 9:29 In that five game series, he pitched four innings in that game. 9:33 Yamamoto is the guy. You like, Hey, we, it's okay. We're fine. The brewers approach at the 9:39 plate, that, that Jake Bauer at bat was just insane where he just grinded him and grinded 9:44 him and grinded him it down. It was like, I don't even know how long that bat was. It 9:48 felt like it went for like five minutes. It was, and then they chase them get the 9:53 entire Dodgers bullpen. They just get big hit after big hit. They're so good at 9:58 like situational hitting situational running, hitting it to opposite field. 10:02 They're just such a good baseball team. 10:04 I don't know what else to say. 10:04 And I also will say this, it felt, it feels like the Dodgers are going through 10:12 like usual business of like, all right, we're going to the playoffs. 10:15 We're just going to win the world series again. 10:17 The brewers have had this exact matchup circled for an entire year after 10:23 getting embarrassed last year in the NLCS. 10:25 It was like this is what it's all being built for it's to beat the Dodgers 10:29 It's to take it to them and you can see the difference in in the first two games 10:34 Like with with how the Brewers are ready for this and then Hank woke up a sleeping giant Christian yellow 10:39 It's because yeah, all the guy does now is is hit RBI's guys RBI machine. Yeah 10:45 I mean this is I I have a lot of faith in the Brewers the Brewers are no fluke the Brewers 10:50 Of course, I mean, well, one of the most games in baseball 10:53 in the last five years, yes, they've been building for the last five years. 10:57 I think it's I think it's something it's it's a crazy like in terms of regular 11:00 season baseball, they've just I didn't know it was the last five. 11:03 I knew that they were definitely the best team in baseball this year 11:06 and going back to the second half of last year. 11:08 But five years is crazy. 11:09 But the Brewers, it might not be five, but it's a lot. 11:12 They are they are just very, very good at every single small detail involved in 11:18 And like you can watch from the prep that they put into every bat. 11:23 They are like laser focused because you're right. 11:25 They got, they got embarrassed by the Dodgers last year. 11:28 And most wins the last three years, last three years of baseball, they have the most wins. 11:32 So it's not, yeah, it's not a, it's not a fluke. 11:34 They've been good every year. 11:35 And if you go five, four years, they're just like five games behind the Dodgers. 11:39 So they've just been good. 11:41 And yeah, going up against Yamamoto on the road for Yamamoto should be 11:46 But what do you last two innings two and two thirds? 11:48 Yeah. Yeah. 11:50 Brewer's great story. 11:52 And now they have to go back and because it's game three. 11:55 Now they got Blake. 11:56 Do they have Blake Snell? 11:57 I think it's Blake Snell. Yeah. 11:58 So they have Blake Snell as their reward. 12:00 But I feel like Brewer's kind of got him where they want him 12:03 psychologically to in a row, start of the series off. 12:07 They're just going and the Dodgers are panicking now. 12:10 They're they're pulling every lever that they can 12:12 because they know something's wrong. 12:15 So this is great. 12:15 I know maybe if you're a Cubs fan, you don't love the bruise playing this good and look at 12:21 this dangerous. I think everybody else loves the brewers doing this. Yeah. I mean, I've, 12:25 I've come to peace with it. It is what it is. They've been so good all year that I mean, 12:29 they're just, they're, they're just exactly what you want out of a playoff baseball team 12:33 where money moments, they're just, they always get the big hit. They always get the big strike 12:38 out like their their bullpen is fucking nails. It's just yeah, it's and they're analytically 12:46 like perfect. They just do things correct the correct way. I can't stand Pat Murphy, 12:51 but he's obviously an incredible manager. Like it just is what it is. And I don't know. 12:56 I think the Dodgers will obviously like I don't think it's gonna be a sweep, 12:59 but to lose the scuba and Yamamoto starts is crazy. I think I think it still might go seven, 13:06 But it's it's a great start for the Brewers glass. Now. I don't think he's ever lost a postseason start 13:12 with the Dodgers. I 13:15 Think I think he's perfect if I recall correctly his era is like sub two 13:21 And he's he's been a very very good post he's in picture for the Dodgers 13:24 So I fully expect the Dodgers to win game three regardless of if they have Shohei playing or not 13:29 It sounds like he is going to play. Yeah, he's been so so bad 13:32 he hasn't had a home run since August 18th and 13:36 He's definitely injured, but still he's been really really bad and now they're talking about maybe taking him out of the line 13:42 But there I think I read earlier today. They're going to keep him in 13:47 I think you have to play him. You got to play 13:50 If you have fucking Shohei Otani, you have to put him out there in the playoffs. Yeah, I'd agree 13:54 Yeah, I mean, but he has been that bad like terrible if he wasn't named Shohei Otani he would 14:02 It would be no question the way he's hitting and the way he like looks lost at the plate. 14:07 He does. And I think he had a, um, he got off to a slow start in the playoffs last year. 14:11 If I remember correctly, he obviously more than corrected for that when he, uh, he ended 14:16 up the championship series with the best baseball game ever played. But, um, yeah, it's been, 14:21 it's been like months that he's been bad. So it's a panic move. 14:25 Tyler Glass now, I looked it up. Did he possibly hit him? Yeah. 14:27 Tyler Glass, now the Dodgers, he has never recorded a win for the Dodgers in the playoffs. 14:35 The Dodgers have never lost a game where he's pitched. 14:37 Yep. 14:38 That's pretty insane. 14:39 Yeah. 14:40 So if you look at, I mean, he was, he was a mix of starting and relieving last year and 14:44 they won all of those games. 14:46 And then this year he started the game against the Braves, but only went four and two thirds, 14:51 but they won that game. 14:52 So yeah, he's, I mean, that's the thing with the Dodgers. 14:55 They just have, they're just like, Oh, okay. Well, we lost the first two games. 14:59 We have other Cy Young guys who are going to pitch now. So. 15:03 Yep. 15:03 It does feel like a possible crash course of Brewer's raise. 15:09 Yeah, I'm not, I'm not counting out the Guardians. 15:12 I was wrong about the Guardians after the first two games against White Sox. 15:15 I was very wrong. Hand up. 15:17 They have a little bit of that mojo of like they get the big hits 15:20 in Jose Ramirez. I know tonight was a bad game for them, 15:22 But like they have big guy moments and like, yeah, I'm not counting them out, 15:26 especially with if Gavin Williams can pitch two more times in this series, 15:29 like that's pretty big. 15:31 So I talked a lot of shit about Cleveland and deservedly so big cap. 15:35 But I feel like I, and so I get a lot of heat daily from, from their fans. 15:38 And I've seen you catch some ricochets in the past few days with those with yours. 15:45 Yeah. Just being like, fuck you, Cleveland. 15:47 Like Cleveland's going to fucking kill you. 15:49 And then like also like big cat you too. 15:50 Oh, yeah. I mean, the only thing I said was I wasn't scared of their lineup through the first two games against the White Sox 15:55 And I wasn't and then they woke up like Jose Ramirez had a bad second half 15:59 And then he decided to be the clutchest guy in the world and hit big big hit after big hit 16:04 I was wrong about that. I did not think that he would all of a sudden just become Jose Ramirez again, which he did 16:11 So yeah, I'm not I'm not I'm not ruling out the Guardians to win this series against the race 16:15 I think they're very very live in this especially after splitting the first two 16:20 And they, you know, chipping a chair, just getting to the end of the world series, 16:24 anything can happen. Right? Maybe, maybe the, maybe the brewers, 16:28 especially if you get the brewers, like what you said is true. Like, right. 16:31 Like they, they, this is their championship. It's like the spurs. 16:34 Right. Right. They've been building up for this moment. 16:37 They might be ripe as someone in the AL to pick them off. 16:42 Okay. So we recorded a bunch of the show earlier today, back in studio. 16:45 Two things that happened since then. 16:47 And we're going to talk about Monday football. 16:49 Mevis got cut. 16:50 Yep. 16:51 Yep. 16:52 Too bad. 16:54 Mevis got cut and then they played groupie. 16:56 It was basically they switched. 17:00 What's to Tumon for Pumba? 17:02 Who's the fat one? 17:04 Pumba. 17:05 Pumba is the fat one. 17:06 So they switched Pumba for Tumon like a buck 25. 17:11 They're the exact opposite guy. 17:13 Yeah. 17:13 Blake rupee is what like when you close your eyes and you think of a kicker. 17:16 You can picture a guy like Blake group. He's made out of entirely elbows. And then yeah, I'm gonna miss I'm gonna miss seeing me this out there 17:23 I'll see I want to see bring him back somebody for the good of the league somebody should sign me this I also what's going wrong? 17:29 What's wrong max? He's laughing elbows everywhere made out of elbows is very funny 17:34 Look at him. Look at Blake 17:38 As you were saying it and he does he's looks like 17:42 He is and then me this is made out of elbow macaroni 17:46 the, uh, the, the kickers, you know how we have like, uh, alt 17:52 cast for everything now. Like last night I got caught in an 17:55 NFL network all cast. I didn't even know existed for Monday night 17:58 football. Did you guys see that? There was just NFL network had 18:01 one manning cast. How about an alt cast when a kicker misses a 18:04 kick where they just have to sit in like, I don't even, it 18:07 won't be the blue tent, whatever any color 10, the 18:11 kicker just sits in there with a go pro and you just get 18:14 to watch them and like they have to read the comments. 18:15 That would be awesome. 18:17 Imagine if the kid you give me this miss a kick and he just sits down 18:21 and it's just the chat is just like fucking roasting him. 18:24 He has to just read every single one. 18:26 Yes, it would be the highest watched all cast after a big miss kick. 18:31 Well, what the fuck is is Pasquale in Staten Island saying about me? 18:35 Why do they keep saying the chats in Spanish? 18:39 Yeah, that'd be that'd be really fucked up mentally to do to a kicker. 18:42 That'd be really they should have to really meet a really mean thing to. 18:45 By the way, I don't know if you guys caught this, but towards the end of the commander's 18:49 go or commander's Giants game when, um, when the Giants kicker missed that kick, I feel 18:55 like Scataboo. 18:55 I remember Scataboo getting up in his face and like screaming at him. 18:59 I don't know if he was doing the Scataboo thing where he was like trying to motivate 19:02 him. 19:03 Um, but it looked like he wanted to fuck him up like good, like violence. 19:07 And then Scataboo go back and then he fumbled on that drive probably felt like an 19:11 asshole after that. 19:12 But yeah, I mean, I wouldn't, I wouldn't mind seeing kickers have to read the comments. 19:15 I do. I also think we should have that camera that, that follows guys around until like, 19:20 I want to close up on their face as they find out that there was a flag on the play that they 19:25 thought they just scored a touchdown on Ted work too. I like that. The, uh, and then the other one 19:30 was Montez sweat got popped for PEDs, which I, I made the joke on Twitter, but it's got to 19:36 be the easiest appeal ever because there's been no performance enhanced. Like you just 19:40 have to show his stat sheet and be like, what are you talking about? 19:43 I don't I don't get how I don't know. 19:45 I don't get how you could get pop for them when he hasn't been playing well. 19:49 Imagine imagine how bad it would have been without the drugs. 19:52 I guess I guess credit to him for like trying everything, 19:55 like shout out him for being a team guy, being like, I got to get, 19:58 I got to get, I got to get the best I can get. 20:01 But that's a problem for the bears. 20:02 Is like, if you if you get pop for PEDs, at least you're trying. 20:06 Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Yeah, you care. Right. 20:08 So yeah, into the day, maybe not the worst thing also like if you if you take steroids 20:15 how long did it take for the steroids to completely wear off like to 20:18 To lose all the good side effects from I don't know 20:22 I'm assuming he's been using them for a while working out probably got really strong 20:26 Is he gonna get weak in the next two weeks, but isn't 20:30 To two games is light right like if it was just straight-up steroids. I thought it was more than that 20:36 I'm not exactly sure. Yeah. I mean, there's a lot of different 20:39 could have been Viagra. Yeah. Yeah. Either way, I feel like they should appeal. Absolutely. 20:47 Just like be like, Oh, here's the all 22. Also, there's no Montez sweat underrated very 20:53 cool intimidating name. Oh, yeah. And I mean, the bears need him. So I hope he comes back 20:59 and he's like proves that, Hey, it wasn't the PEDs. I'm, I still can be good. But, uh, yeah. 21:05 And then there's weird like contract stuff too with it, where I think his guaranteed money goes 21:09 away. And now, I don't know, we'll, we'll see. Uh, was there anything else that happened that we 21:14 missed? I don't think so. Just looking through the news right now, because we did record earlier. So 21:22 um, Hank, have you done your call outs? He did. Okay. So who you call out? 21:28 It's shocking. Just tell us real quick. I call that Donnie PFT commentary, Jersey, 21:35 Jerry, Mike Grinnell. And that's all for straight up. No handicap. No handicap. Straight 21:40 up. Okay, screwed up. Why don't you call out me and Max, me and Max and the scramble. 21:47 I don't know. Cause we, I like to have fun with you guys. Okay. Well, all right. So 21:51 you're scared of us scrambling. Yeah. All right. All right. 21:55 Fine, pussy. 21:55 Max, we just want the great duo right there. 21:58 That's a win for us. 21:59 All right. 22:00 What do you mean by that? 22:01 One win for us. 22:03 You like to have fun with me, Jersey, Jerry, Grinnelli. 22:07 Just sound like it. 22:08 No, I come. 22:09 I show up to those matches strictly to win. 22:12 It's business? 22:13 Yeah. 22:14 What's very funny is that, like, I was just sitting there. 22:18 I was minding my own business just sitting down 22:19 and then I got called out. 22:21 And that's never happened to me before. 22:23 And it's like, it's not a good feeling to get called out. 22:26 Do you know what you should do, PFT? 22:28 I, well, I, I sent to my lawyer to respond. 22:31 Well, I was to say, you should call him out, righty. 22:36 I don't want to do that. 22:37 Okay. I'm not a call out guy. 22:38 I would kill you, righty. 22:40 Oh, I don't. 22:42 This, this, like, oh, no, I brought out the righty clubs the other day 22:46 and it was so much better. 22:49 Hanks right one more we got one more month of lefty Lockwood. Thanks, right. We've played we've played 22:56 You've always beat me right handed on camera, haven't you? No, that's true. I 23:02 Want to the real I want to beat 23:05 Max, I mean I'm gonna beat PFT Jerry and Donnie 23:10 Just so that I can say when I switch back righty that when they chirp me I can be like well 23:13 I beat you lefty and righty. Let's just, let's just run the ball into the middle. 28:52 Let's, let's be conservative after we shredded the bills the entire second half and hope the fat Meevis can make a kick. 28:58 Meevis, well, it was third and five, right? It was third and five. 29:01 And McVay said, I'll run the ball up the middle. 29:04 But third and five, they, they got the first down and then they kind of put pump the brakes on the office. 29:10 They ran the ball up the middle and took the ball out of Stafford's hand. Yeah, which is not what you want to do in overtime 29:15 I mean listen 29:16 This is a game it delivered when we thought the bills and the Rams 29:19 We thought there's gonna be like two really really good teams 29:22 It did feel like a football game. So like the criticism of McVeigh. I think it's it's legit, but it's also 29:29 It's two really good teams 29:30 So so it was gonna come down to small small mistakes and decision-making 29:34 But the small mistakes always are the special teams the Rams and they always they have the worst special teams 29:39 games again through five weeks. They could have had another super ring last year if it 29:45 weren't for their special teams. Remember the Muft kick against the Seahawks the NFC championship 29:49 game like they just don't have good special teams. And it's every single year. It's crazy. 29:55 The kickoff return especially was bad last night. Yeah. I do think this is more like 30:01 how much more leeway do the Rams have before they dig themselves in a hole that they 30:06 can't get out. They're fine. If you're going to look for a bet right now. Take the Rams 30:10 over 10 and a half wins. They're fine. So they said a two and three. Have you seen their 30:15 schedule? I was looking at the schedule earlier today. They are softens up nicely for them. 30:20 They're going to be, I'll say they'll be seven and three or six and four at worst seven 30:26 and three most likely going into the Packers game on Thanksgiving. Okay. So looking ahead, 30:31 They got the Cardinals. They got the Raiders. They got the Chargers. They got the commanders 30:36 They got the Cardinals again. So those five games 30:39 They're gonna go four and one in those games. I feel pretty confident 30:42 They probably will go four and one if they don't then it's a real problem 30:45 I think it's probably already to the point where they've they fucked up home field advantage for themselves 30:52 They still get to play Seahawks twice. Yeah, so you win those games and and anything can happen 30:57 But yeah, I would not be worried about the Rams other than the special teams like I don't think this team is still good 31:03 The offense is still good. The defense needs miles Garrett 31:07 They the special teams is just atrocious and every single year 31:10 They do this and every single year cost them in a high-leverage game, and it's just it's the same thing over and over 31:17 I'm gonna watch this me this kick again here and see if we can tell anything 31:20 I don't know if you can tell if it's going in or not, but the problem is they can't block it got 31:25 Yeah. You can't you can't block on it. It's not all me this credit. Yeah, credit to the bills 31:29 line on that play for running something that worked and fucking up kind of like the interior right 31:33 side of it. But yeah, it's not saying the Rams special teams is bad. It's not just like, oh, 31:39 they have bad kickers. That's not it. They have bad coverage. They have bad blocking like every 31:44 single year it happens. Yeah, the blocking was bad. The blocking was really, really bad on 31:49 that. But also, yeah, there's other points in that game that you could question some decision 31:53 making to the bills. Josh Allen with his feet. Troy Aikman kept saying like, yeah, this guy's 31:59 actually a triple threat because he can beat you with his arm, his legs or his brain. Yep. Usually 32:06 you very rarely get the triple threat. What about the heart? Is there a quadruple threat 32:09 quarterback might be the balls, a quintuple threat quarterback. But yeah, Allen had an 32:14 amazing night running the football last night, unstoppable running the football. 32:18 It's the bills are the exact same team they've been every single year and that 32:22 their defense is a weakness, although their defensive line played like decently. Well, 32:26 they got after staffer, especially in the first half. Josh Allen has to be Superman for them to 32:31 win football games against really good opponents. They're bad opponents. They can win good opponents, 32:37 playoff teams. Josh Allen has to be, he had to be, he had to put on the cape that last quarter 32:43 and, you know, just start running every single time he was given a late. What I'm seeing from 32:48 Joe Brady this year is they are, they are a lot of the same bill as that we saw in the 32:52 past, they're just more of the same bills. Just like they're 32:55 doing the same stuff, but they're doing it harder. 32:57 Yeah, I mean, DJ Moore is very significant. When he's not 33:00 playing, it does feel like they don't have enough guys who can 33:04 get open on their own. 33:04 It looked like last year. Yeah, with no DJ Moore, when he is 33:07 playing, it's he has a difference maker because he's a 33:10 truly elite talent. When he's on the field, when he's off 33:13 the team looked very similar except Josh Allen, somehow 33:17 looks like he's getting better year over year. 33:19 James Cook keeps fumbling. I feel like that's that just keeps keeps happening Hank 33:26 You had this is a scheduled loss for the bills 33:30 No, not necessarily no because remember we had the conversation about you you the destiny 33:36 AFC East goes through it does the Patriots, but part of that was you beating the Raiders and the bills losing to the Rams 33:44 Yes, but even still the Patriots control their own destiny, right? So 33:49 But did anything you saw last night change your opinion? No, the bills are the bills are good 33:53 The bills are really good. Like you said, they're the same bills 33:55 Yeah, Josh Allen needs to be Superman and then it what happens is in the playoffs 33:59 Like there's no room for error and one little error by someone maybe not even Josh Allen like that's how you win or lose game 34:05 so I don't as good as they look it's like they've looked this good for the last seven years and 34:13 Con so it's like 34:15 They're they're a respectable opponent. It's actually good team. It demolishes the haters the Patriots haters 34:22 Line of reasoning that the bills haven't beaten any good teams. Yeah completely destroys that because Rams. I think are a good team 34:28 Yes, definitely two and three, but yes, they're a good team. So alright, so here was the stat by the way 34:33 To back up everything I was saying about the special teams 34:35 The Rams the only team in NFL history to mass 400 total yards gain 30 plus first down score five plus 34:42 touchdowns convert 50% of their third downs and have zero turnovers and lose 34:47 the game. The Rams special team came into week five ranked 32nd in DVOA. They've 34:52 been 26 or worse in four of the last five seasons and if you go by win 34:58 probability lost they lost minus 110% win probability over the course of the 35:05 2025 season from special team snaps in 2026 which is just five games. They've 35:10 already lost minus 104 percent win probability 35:13 in special teams. 35:15 Special teams, a third of the game. 35:16 It's but may just ignores it. 35:18 Yeah, because he did fire the guy right last year, 35:22 but like they just aren't. 35:24 That's just a philosophy like the Rams is a philosophy. 35:28 They just like we'll make a super team 35:29 and we'll figure out special teams later. 35:32 It's like and it rears it's ugly. 35:34 So it's actually not a third of the game. 35:36 Obviously like nowhere near a third of the game 35:38 by Snap Count, but when you look at how disproportionately 35:40 it affects whether or not the Rams win or lose, 35:43 it's actually half the game for the Rams. 35:46 It's not a third of the game, but it is. 35:48 I always just go back to when you get in these big games, 35:51 playoffs or regular season game 35:53 against a comparable opponent, it's magnified 35:57 because they're so equal in talent. 36:00 What's the difference gonna be? 36:01 A lot of times it will be a special teams play. 36:03 Yeah, our guy, Paganati, 36:05 They keep saying that they should get Taco Fall to play a defensive line on field goal 36:11 attempts and just have them stand as close to the line of scrimmage as possible. 36:14 Just jump? 36:15 And just jump straight up in the air. 36:16 Just jump? 36:18 Uh, yeah. 36:19 So, yeah, that was, it was great Monday football game. 36:21 Also, Aaron, Aaron Donald back. 36:23 Yes. 36:24 I think we can now say officially back. 36:26 I'd agree. 36:27 After his play last night. 36:28 I'd agree. 36:29 I'm trying to think if there's anything else that we- 36:31 Yeah. 36:31 Pukitaku is just unstoppable. 36:33 Pukitaku is, yeah. 36:34 I mean, I feel like he got targeted. 36:35 30 times. That was a catch by the way. Which one? On the sideline. Yeah, wait, he had so 36:41 many. The one that got overturned where his foot he like dragged his foot in. It hit the 36:49 ground but then like when the pellets started flying up he was out of bounds. Honestly 36:55 he caught so many balls like I'm actually thinking of like three different times this 36:59 happened. They said it was a process of a step. The process of a step. Okay. That's 37:04 out of bounds got it he yeah I mean he was so good but it's also I don't 37:10 understand the NFL like the there was it brought up the conversation a few years 37:14 ago when I think it was T Higgins like caught the ball and his heel hit the 37:18 ground first in bounds and then his foot came down out of bounds and I said 37:23 that wasn't a catch either but if you do a toe drag which is what pookin 37:27 to quit is it this one because this one I thought was definitely out of 37:30 bounds. No. Okay. Yeah. See, it was that one. No, it was it's 37:34 this one. I think that I think he is out of bounds. I think it 37:37 hits the great like his what we're talking about now is like 37:40 the front cleats on a shoe landed first in bounds but then as 37:45 the toe came down. That's oh yeah, I think that is in bounds. 37:50 Right. But then when it's when the turf comes up or like the 37:54 pellets come up, it looks like it's out of bounds but it's 37:56 Yeah. 37:57 So the explanation was that it was one full step. 38:01 So it's like a slide? 38:02 What's a toe drag? 38:03 I think that's out of bounds. 38:05 What's a toe drag then? 38:06 That's not a full step. 38:07 Well, it's a toe tap. 38:08 So the toe tap is the process. 38:11 His cleats tapped, not the toe. 38:13 The cleats tapped and then the toe came down out of bounds. 38:15 So is a cleat not part of your toe? 38:17 I don't know. 38:17 This is where it's like, that to me looks, 38:19 if you were to ask a drunk guy in a bar, 38:20 and I've been a drunk guy in a bar plenty of times, 38:23 that's not a catch. 38:24 catch. Yeah, when I was watching on TV, I thought I was like, that's not a catch. 38:30 I get an awesome game last night that in particular and he's so good that there is always Pukin 38:35 Nukua leads the league in spectacular almost catches. In addition to spectacular catches, 38:40 he just makes so many of them that yeah, there's going to be some that that just 38:43 barely don't break his way. That's very close to being a great catch. I would say it's 38:48 not a catch. He also Pukin Nukua leads the league like I don't I don't understand 38:52 And the concussion spotter thing and how it works. 38:57 I feel like he should have been spotted like six times last night. 39:00 He was getting smoked. 39:01 Yeah, I think he's kind of got he's I feel like he's getting into like 39:04 Gronkh territory where he just kind of like 39:07 it feels like he's permanently concussed so they never really 39:11 it's hard to gauge right when he is concussed because he kind of just 39:15 has that like there's multiple always concussed vibe. 39:18 Yeah, there's multiple times where he took a hit over the middle. 39:20 I was like, oh, that was bad. 39:22 It's like, how do you do the concussion protocol on Ben Mintz? 39:25 Yeah, exactly. 39:25 Like it's tough to it's tough to really prove anything. 39:28 Yeah. 39:28 OK, any other any other stories for or things we need to clean up 39:33 from this weekend, week five, chaotic week? 39:36 I also think that the Rams will be fine just just to be clear, 39:38 but they're getting close to the level of being in a hole 39:42 that is going to end up costing them at the end of the year somehow. 39:45 I yeah, I thought that for a second, then I looked at their schedule. 39:48 Mm-hmm, so I just it's kind of like my buy stocking Texans like there's I think the schedule has just been and like to go the other way I 39:58 Think the chiefs have like a tough schedule coming up 40:00 So there's gonna be there was some disproportionate scheduling to start the season 40:05 I've just seen it enough where you have losses that that add up like the loss to the Broncos in a game that they should have won 40:10 The loss of the bills in a game that they could have won 40:13 and those happen early in the season, 40:15 they tend to manifest themselves later on 40:18 in a way that you can't see coming, 40:19 whether that's race for higher seating 40:22 or even getting into the playoffs, 40:24 those things tend to come back around. 40:25 Yeah, yeah. 40:27 Okay, what else, anything else from week five? 40:31 Hank? 40:31 Any cleanup on the Dan Quinn press conferences, 40:34 I feel like more details came out on Monday. 40:36 What was it, more details? 40:37 So many details. 40:39 Just, I guess the blame- 40:40 There's no details. 40:41 It's just basically more people having opinions on it 40:43 And sometimes you listen back to the things that you say on the show and you're like, I wish I could have said that I think I nailed 40:49 My response to what happened fucking nailed it a plus. I graded myself out a plus 40:55 Because it is a hundred percent a hundred hundred actually no b-plus because I'll walk back one thing 41:00 I'll say it's a hundred percent on jaden daniels and then it's 41:03 I'm gonna reduce blame on dan quinn and say it is a hundred percent jaden daniels 41:09 75 percent 41:11 on 41:11 on David Blau, 25% on Dan Quinn. 41:16 I think Dan Quinn is doing a, what? 41:19 What, Hank? 41:22 You know the team better. 41:23 Isn't like, Blau is the play caller. 41:26 Dan Quinn is like, he's the one that's supposed 41:28 to have the like clock management. 41:30 Like that's his main job. 41:31 Yeah, but where I think, and it's impossible to tell 41:33 because- 41:34 But it's not, it's a play caller's fault? 41:36 It's impossible to tell what happened 41:38 because everybody's going to lie about it 41:39 and you're going to have every guy saying 41:41 like that's on me. 41:42 And so we're never gonna know exactly what happened was what in a situation like this 41:46 He didn't kind of did say that it was on the coaching 41:49 That's what I said after the game 41:50 Which is when he was like when he he tried to take responsibility 41:53 He said top-down like kind of a scummy move if that ends up 41:57 Not being like if the coaching staff had nothing to do with it pretty scummy move for him to say that 42:03 In a situation where the fans are like we have to know what happened 42:08 We have to know they should release all the communications. Yes 42:12 They should like release the audio from what happened. I want to know exactly when what went down at the end 42:18 I suspect that it's David Blau because 42:21 Everybody's lying about it. It sounds like they're trying to do two things one protect Jaden to protect David Blau first-year signal caller 42:27 And they have a lot of faith in him as like a future offensive mind 42:31 They don't want to throw him under the bus for this the play call that they put in at the end made no sense 42:36 The substitution made no sense 42:38 I know Chris Paul said that they knew that there was a timeout left the way that every player on the field reacted after Jaden went down 42:45 Getting back to line of scrimmage 42:46 No sense of urgency. So I guess not everybody knew that there was a there were no timeouts left 42:52 I think it was a bad play call bad situational situation awareness by the offensive coordinator and 42:59 Dan Quinn is going to take a lot of the blame for it because it does fall under like his decision-making 43:06 but I 43:06 think if you're gonna put blame on coaching staff it's probably the 43:09 offensive coordinator who's doing most of the talking to the quarterback there 43:12 and almost every former quarterback that I've heard break this down of course 43:17 they're never gonna blame it on the quarterback because they're quarterbacks 43:19 the Dan Orlowski's of the world but everybody that's talking about it is 43:22 saying like yeah good coordinators will tell you awareness which I think is 43:26 disrespectful to Jaden acting like he doesn't have any responsibility in this 43:31 like he can't think for himself at the end of the game it's definitely on 43:35 him 100%. But it's also if you're going to put blame on coaching staff, I think it's probably 43:39 on the OC and Dan Quinn is falling in the sword. That's what I think he said. He said Dan Quinn 43:43 goes he's furious about her execution. It took entirely too long. No one's matter than 43:48 Dan Quinn about their execution, except the state of Tennessee this week. But it's bad. 43:53 It's bad. And the good news is, if you look at what's coming up this week, we got 44:01 the 49ers on Monday night football. Nice. That means there's no better opportunity to 44:08 get people to stop talking about what happened than if you go into Santa Clara and you beat 44:12 the 49ers on Monday night football. So true. There is that window where you have the opportunity 44:18 to take what should be a fireable offense for Dan Quinn and fix it almost immediately 44:24 so that Dan Quinn can then go on to have his next fireable offense. Well flip side 44:29 Maybe this is a good thing because like fireball fans people are calling for his job 44:33 But they go out and get like 40 piece by the 49ers. Yeah 44:37 He's fired on Monday probably also might be a good thing cuz Jane Daniels will pay more attention to 44:43 Situational awareness now like that was a good learning lesson 44:46 Yeah, is it like high school like in the pros or like they just they come into practice Monday 44:49 And they just like do end of game plays for like the whole practice like no ball 44:53 We're just gonna run through end of game situations. You have it you have a ball though end of game 44:57 No, I know, but like, you know, I'm talking about like, 44:59 I think, I think Jayden needs to program some last second spikes into his virtual reality simulator. 45:08 Mm hmm. 45:08 I think that would help. 45:09 He probably doesn't practice those in VR in the metaverse. 45:12 But I have to assume that they practice that anyways. 45:16 But if they go out, they get killed by the by the Niners. 45:19 Yeah, Dan Quinn very likely would be fired at that point. 45:22 Then Anthony Lynn takes over. 45:25 But yeah, there's there's a lot of other stuff that I watched back in that game 45:28 where it's inexcusable that the game even went to overtime with a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter 45:34 What if you guys get Harbaugh? 45:37 Which one? 45:38 John or Jim. Oh special teams. Maybe the Sun 45:42 No 45:44 Why would we get Harbaugh? He's gonna get fired 45:47 Dan Quinn's gonna get fired 45:49 Why would we get Harbaugh? Why not? Yeah, why not? You gotta get someone 45:52 We do have to get somebody. That's a good point. I think that there's a chance that Josh Harris just completely focused on 45:58 Coddling LeBron right now and isn't even paying attention to the losses 46:03 Now he's got magic in his in his in his ear. Yeah, that's another thing. I want to talk about later 46:08 What I get a hmm we can save that we can save that for baseball talk. Okay 46:14 Okay, but yeah, so where I'm at is 100% on Jaden 75% on David Blau 25% on Dan Quinn 46:19 but Dan Quinn's gonna end up taking 200% 46:22 of the accountability for it. 46:24 And Jayden's gonna take zero. 46:27 Probably, yeah. Yeah. 46:28 Probably, because I mean, 46:29 we still believe him as a franchise quarterback 46:30 and I do, I don't think this hasn't affected like, 46:33 it makes me question his, 46:35 like where his head was at in the last second, 46:38 but in terms of, is he the future quarterback? 46:40 Yes, 100%. 46:42 Okay, any other, any other, 46:45 what's, is Nick Siriani, whatever. 46:48 over. He's just fine. He's going to be. Yeah, it'll be fine. You figure it out. This is kind 46:54 of what this is kind of what happens. Everyone gets super mad on. Yeah, Mondays of an emotional 46:59 day in the world of NFL football Sunday and Monday. My hot seats are the Bay Area. Oh, why? Rich Bay. You see the cow, 48:55 the cow's uniforms. Yeah, those are cool. The helmets, the grave of the dead, those are 48:59 Cuz 49:01 This might this might be a little you know taking it two steps too far in a conspiracy theory, but 49:08 Obviously everyone talks about the substation with the 49ers and that you know the yeah the brandon aiuk situation like they put that on the substation 49:16 He stopped showing up to practice no one news knew knew where he was or what was going on 49:20 Like they would ask him and the coaches and players were like we don't know 49:23 Maybe the biggest sign that he was insane was that he wanted to join the commanders. Yeah 49:27 Yeah. But now Kristaps Porzingis is doing the same thing. He's on the Warriors in the Bay 49:32 area and and he's not he's just not showing up to practice like in the team and players 49:38 like just don't know where he is. It's not he obviously has had health issues last like 49:42 a couple years and like somewhat of a mystery like even on the Celtics. 49:45 Big mystery. Yeah. 49:46 But now he's just now he's just disappeared. Now I'm starting to think if that substation 49:51 just you know it's bigger than the 49ers it's just something something in the Bay. 49:54 I like you tying it all together 49:57 Kristops is the guy that if there's anybody that's missing time with a mystery injury. It's it's him 50:02 And I've seen so he's probably the guy that people vague post the most about like people are always saying like everyone knows 50:08 Where it is, but no one wants to say it, but now he's not even he's nowhere to be found 50:12 It's not even like it's it's and when the when the coaches and players talk about it 50:16 So yeah, we don't know what'll be back because we don't know where he is and like we're not you know 50:20 He's not answering messages. Oh, we have an update 50:21 it will be, Christophe's Porzingis will be 50:24 at the Warriors facility on Tuesday to meet 50:26 with team's medical staff. 50:27 It remains unclear when Porzingis will be able to return. 50:30 So he's a doctor's appointment. 50:31 Not really an update. 50:31 Breaking news, he's scheduled, 50:33 he logged on to ZockDoc and he is seeing a doctor. 50:37 It's very bizarre. 50:39 I don't know what's going on. 50:40 I hope he's okay, but it's just, it's very bizarre. 50:44 And like, didn't Steve Kerr say something 50:46 about it last year, but it was like, 50:48 Kind of like, hey, HIPAA, so then Christops maybe, 50:54 I don't know, it's weird. 50:55 Yes, Steve Cursley hadn't seen him yet. 50:58 It's really strange. 50:59 So the Bay Area, do you think maybe it's a Zodiac killer? 51:04 Maybe. 51:05 Did you guys see that article on Substack on Zodiac? 51:09 Yes, some guy was like, 51:10 I'm pretty sure my dad's a Zodiac killer. 51:12 But there's been like three guys that have done that. 51:14 I know, but it was pretty compelling. 51:16 That's like it's a new trend 51:17 Where if you want to blow up on tic-tac you just accused one of your family members of being a serial killer 51:22 I go shit. I was going through my grandfather's shed. Yeah, and I found that's like that's better than leaving them money 51:28 Is when you die just leave them evidence that you're a serial killer and let them reap all the benefits on social media 51:34 I think this guy's dad was still alive. He's it was I haven't seen all the other ones 51:38 I just saw this one. I read it and I was like yep throw away the keys. He's guilty. I 51:43 Think they found all it's they found the guy right who I think the cops 51:48 Zodiac killer. I think so. I think that they're like a couple years ago. They figured out who it was. I 51:53 Thought the same thing. It was another you know, it was another kid that like accuses dad 51:56 That was another guy that was doing it for I 52:00 Might be talking about the same person because I think that one was in the documentary August. Oh, oh 52:05 Got it, but that's also how the fucking BTK guy. Remember he was just a regular guy 52:10 And then his family was like, well, no, he fucked up sending in didn't he asked someone like hey 52:16 floppy disk can't be traced the metadata can't be traced and they were like 52:20 yeah no the cops are like yeah no problem send it in yeah they're like 52:25 idiot dumb ass I don't know where the BTK horn I'll see that's the biggest 52:32 come on man of all time dumb ass that picture looks like anybody you know I'm 52:38 not gonna say yeah I can see it handsome guy very handsome yeah this is my dad 52:47 good golf courses in the Bay Area. My dad may be the Zodiac killer and then he went on to explain 52:52 it was a good article. Zodiac he was left-handed right? Hmm. Was he? Hmm. Interesting. Okay. Speaking 53:03 of that so kind of not really but uh. Oh he might have been ambidextrous is what I'm saying. Oh 53:08 now we're talking. Interesting. Interesting. Great ones always are. My cool throne is 53:14 I guess it's the haters. 53:17 Congrats to the haters. 53:20 Liv is dead. 53:21 This is it. 53:22 What? 53:22 This is it. 53:23 We gotta have food on it. 53:24 What? 53:24 The final time. 53:26 No. 53:27 That I will ever bring up, or Liv 2.0 is dead. 53:31 So Liv 3.0 loading. 53:33 I think it's, I think. 53:35 What happened? 53:36 Listen, I think sometimes in, in, in golf and in life you try and do something to, 53:40 to disrupt the industry and make a, make a, make a splash. 53:44 And maybe you're just wrong 53:46 Maybe you were wrong and you just never should have went down that path in the first place 53:49 Or maybe it's the haters that that road it would have worked if it weren't for the naysayers 53:53 Yeah, maybe yeah, maybe they had fun doing it 53:55 But like it was like the the haters and the people you know 53:59 Dismissing you just it ended up being correct. May we do an impromptu press conference? Would you be taking questions right now? 54:07 Sure, okay 54:09 Yeah, big cat. Uh, hey Henry 54:13 Dan Katz, pardon my take here, quick question. 54:16 So you said live is dead in your statement 54:19 that you just read to us, pre-written statement, 54:21 really good job. 54:22 You said live is dead. 54:23 Do you have any regrets knowing that you caped 54:27 and soapboxed and rode so hard for live 54:31 and you got zero dollars from it 54:33 when they were giving out millions and millions 54:35 of dollars to people? 54:37 My passion for golf is not tied financially. 54:40 It's it's just something that I I love and I love the game of golf and I love watching golf 54:46 So when no I do not feel any regret about that 54:49 I did not I did not become a fan because I was thinking about making money off it 54:53 I what if I told you live enjoy it off you five million dollars three years ago, and you didn't do it 54:58 Would you regret that? 55:00 Yes, okay, that did not happen 55:03 Yeah, but what if they did then it would be a regret, but it did not happen. Okay. Thank you have a question 55:07 Yes, a pft from parm I think no, you don't get to say that you know only memes only memes 55:13 Is this a bit premature? 55:16 No, so the new players have until August or October 25th the news came out that the DP World Tour 55:23 Will not which previously they were allowed to players in live were allowed to play DP World Tour events 55:30 DP World Tour came out and said that if you want to play in the DP World Tour you can't play on live and 55:36 and 55:37 All of the good players and live want to play on the DP World Tour because that's their path to back the PGA Tour so 55:43 essentially no one 55:46 Maybe some of the older guys that are like we're not competing at a high level anymore 55:50 Maybe they stick around anyone that's good and young is not gonna make a deal where they cannot play DP World Tour events 55:57 So Cameron Tringo, he's sticking around. He's old. He's sticking around. Don't dismiss him 56:02 So where are the old guys gonna play? 56:07 Richard Bland, where's he gonna go? 56:08 Where are the old guys gonna play? 56:10 I don't know. 56:11 They might, they're- 56:12 It's like gonna go out and just play on a course 56:14 and be like, this is live now? 56:15 The senior live tour. 56:16 That's pretty much what it's gonna be, 56:18 if it even happens. 56:19 The champions tour. 56:20 But that's not worth talking about, so. 56:23 None of this was worth talking about. 56:26 Do you have any questions about it? 56:27 I disagree with that. 56:28 I don't care, I don't care. 56:30 My question is, can we get to the next topic? 56:34 I think that's the only winner. That's it. That's why that's my cool. 56:36 There are a couple winners when it comes to the live golf range and one I think 56:39 ultimately the PGA tour ended up winning the pissing contest, but Brooks Kepke played it just 56:45 about perfectly. Oh yeah. Yeah. Oh yeah. Big time. Hank, last question. If the live people 56:55 were to contact you now and say, Hey, we'd like to do something to keep this going in some 57:03 capacity. Would you take their phone call? I mean, I would direct them to sales. You 57:11 know how this company works. We're the for-profit business. If a company wants to offer money 57:16 to promote. I'm down to change my tune. I'm open to business. 57:22 If they wanted to do it for nothing, no. If Liv wants to give us their IP, we'll just 57:27 change it into, like we'll just make the Liv accounts all just part of my take golf 57:32 And we'll invite some of these old guys to come play golf with us make a video like what's his name? 57:37 What was the old guy's name Trigali Trigali you ever fucking sprint on a hundred yard par-4 buddy plans get Victor Perez 57:45 All the big names in golf 57:48 Is this the worst thing Saudi Arabia's ever been accused of funding that was a made-up name? 57:52 I think it probably is Victor Perez Victor Perez sounds good. Who's that who's Victor Perez? 57:57 I don't know what team you know Victor 57:59 Yeah, I thought I read his name the other way he finished second in I think you're thinking of yeah 58:03 He plays on the live golf tour. What? Yeah. Yeah, look at that. Wow 58:11 Wow 58:12 Dude, he's been playing on Clicke's golf club since November 20 Wow 58:18 Pat Perez, maybe if you knew Victor Perez was live would have survived. Yeah, but he's in the PFT 58:24 T that might be our live guy. This is a DP World Tour event. So he's going to be keep playing on that. 58:29 Well, yeah, that's why he I thought you're talking about Paparez former ace my bad. No, I'm talking about 58:34 CLEAKS. You don't know CLEAKS, bro. Now you're right. I was ever much of a CLEAKER more of a CHEAKS 58:39 guy. Yeah. All right. PFT. My hot seat is Shohei Otani. By the way, live is not dead on this 58:46 podcast. Yes, it is for me. Yeah, it's they have a lead investor. Shohei Otani is on the 58:52 hot seat because the Dodgers are openly talking about possibly 58:56 benching him because he's been so bad for the last what two months 59:01 now. Yeah, he hasn't had a home run since August 18. And his 59:04 the 59:06 we probably have already talked. Yeah, we probably have already 59:08 talked about this. Okay. Yeah, just because we're going to do 59:11 baseball. So we're definitely talking about show a being 59:14 benched. 59:15 Okay, we can cut that then. Sorry, I feel like that's 59:22 just because I'm definitely gonna bring it. I was 59:25 You need a hot seat. Well, no, no, because it that when I said 59:28 I would had something else I wanted to get into about this 59:31 call. I guess I can still do that with this. I can still do 59:34 that with this. Do you need a hot seat? No, no. Okay. So I said 59:38 I had some more baseball stuff to get into today. I'm going to 59:41 put the win the win the thing windy fingers up and say what 59:45 is going on truly with Shohei because you look at when 59:49 this cold streak started and it was what August 18. I 59:54 I believe the Los Angeles Lakers were sold on August 17th, 59:59 and I believe news of the investigation 60:02 kind of hit a peak shortly thereafter. 60:06 And if you look too deep into it, 60:08 you see that Walter, the former owner of the Lakers, 60:13 current owner still of the Dodgers, 60:15 also has some shady business arrangements going on 60:18 that allowed him to purchase the Dodgers 60:20 in the first place, namely selling a company to Magic Johnson for $350 million to make 60:27 Magic Johnson a billionaire, welcoming him in as the owner of, or to be able to buy the 60:35 Dodgers. It was kind of a move to get the former Dodgers ownership and everything 60:40 pulled in via Magic Johnson and possibly that transaction for $350 million to get him to 60:47 become owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Okay. Then there's a lot of questions about what's 60:51 going on with the different contracts that the Dodgers are allowed to offer players. 60:57 Yup. Is that money? Does it actually exist? I just think it's interesting timing. Yeah. 61:02 That as this investigation against the owner hits a fever pitch. That's exactly when 61:07 Shohei Otani stops hitting. Yeah, he's also been hurt. But I mean, that's also 61:13 stop hitting. That's also like the best baseball player in the world not being able to hit anymore. 61:18 And not this year. And not this year. But when he does hit, he's slapping 70 mile an hour singles 61:24 to left field. I just think that's interesting. That's all. Yeah, he's got he's been bad. 61:29 Do you guys interesting? Anyone else think that's interesting? I definitely think that's 61:33 interesting. Something something's weird with him. Something's up. Something's up with the whole. 61:38 I'm starting to think this Mark Walter guy might not be on the up and up. Yeah. 61:41 I'm not gonna lie he lost me about halfway through that, but I agree. That's a good way to good way to just move it on 61:49 That was good. Yeah. Yeah 61:50 When people started talking about the owner of the Dodgers now we're good. That's when Otani started fucking up. Yeah 61:57 When he went under a microscope what I started suck it. Yeah, maybe Otani was told he's not gonna get paid and 62:04 he needs to get paid because 62:05 was Ipe. Got it. Yeah. And then there's a whole Ipe situation 62:10 thrown into it too. You had me until you said Ipe. Yeah. 62:15 Okay. Yeah. Forget about that. Shohei Otani worried about money owner Dodgers maybe not 62:21 have all money to pay Shohei. Now Shohei suck. So he's talking on purpose? No. He's 62:28 thinking something's on his mind maybe. Got it. I'm distracting him. Yep. He hasn't 62:34 been taking the cave parlay you know what max look into it for me i'll do it 62:37 yeah if ebay rode the cave parlay we wouldn't be having this conversation 62:40 yeah show hey yeah yeah yeah um my cool throne is books 62:44 oh we talked about books the other week because alex earl had never read one 62:48 yep the book that i mentioned maybe my favorite book of my childhood is 62:53 becoming oh yes it's becoming a movie now 62:56 hatchet by gary polson right yeah they're making that into a movie 63:00 can't wait i have not been this fired up for a movie in a long time 63:03 Can't wait and can't wait to be able to say book was better. The book is better 63:06 Yeah, this is gonna be like when I read it in fifth grade. That was actually better now 63:10 They're probably gonna make this movie. I would guess for children. Mm-hmm, right? No 63:18 What they should do is they should market it to people that read that book when they were kids 63:22 Yeah, and now they grow up and that's the only book they think about when they think about books 63:26 They read I think it'll be like a standby me situation. Oh, Jerry O'Connor might be yeah, you know like yeah 63:32 kind of for kids but like also for adults maybe get Jerry O'Connell as the 63:38 pilot at the start yeah I don't see why not I think he'd be good at that I like 63:43 this he just farts on himself and has a heart attack yeah it's a big one now 63:47 there's gotta do the giver the giver that one is dark yeah but that but that was 63:51 maybe that is that a movie they might have tried that the giver of mice and 63:56 men the hatchet I think of mice and men is a movie right yeah with Gary 64:00 Denise and what's his name? Malkovich, I think, is in that one. 64:05 Okay, they did make the giver. Yeah. All right. So we're good. 64:09 We've made them all. So bring it. Yeah, I'm very excited about 64:12 hatchet the movie. Yeah, me too. They got to get the hatchet 64:14 right. The hatchet has to be cast perfectly. What's the other 64:18 one? What's the what's the is it white fang now? Yeah, white 64:21 fang. That was a good one. That was, was that Jack London? 64:24 That was a movie too, I think. 1984. 1984. The book? 64:29 Example, what are you talking about? 64:30 Fahrenheit 451. 64:31 I'm just naming books that I have to read. 64:33 Books that have become movies? 64:34 Books you read in high school. 64:36 Yeah, and maybe even younger. 64:39 I mean, I've said this before, 64:40 but the hack is just read every Michael Lewis book 64:42 and always becomes a movie. 64:44 Moneyball, Blindside, Big Short. 64:47 They just all become movies. 64:50 It's very easy to do. 64:51 And then you can just walk around and say, 64:53 the book was better. 64:55 And sound like you're smart. 64:57 and you're not, because you're me. 65:00 Okay, my hot seat is the Tennessee Titans. 65:03 We talked about the Tennessee Titans, 65:04 but Titans fan Samuel Brown RBT went a little viral 65:10 on Monday because he did a thread of the Titans 65:13 since trading AJ Brown. 65:16 And I wanna read some of these things 65:17 because I think we need to start putting more respect 65:20 on Titans fans, pain and suffering 65:22 because it's been really, really brutal. 65:25 Since trading AJ Brown, the Titans have the worst record in the NFL at nineteen and fifty-four. That's a lot of losses, not a lot of wins. 65:34 Eventually led to the firing of Mike Rabel. The record since firing Mike Rabel is six and thirty-three. 65:41 They have won two home games and one division game total in the last three seasons. 65:47 three seasons. AJ Brown won a Super Bowl. Mike Rabel made a Super Bowl. AJ Brown had 65:52 more Super Bowl appearances with the Eagles than Traylon Burks had receiving touchdowns 65:56 with the Titans. Traylon Burks who they got in that trade. They have scored 17.2 points 66:03 per game since the trade. The worst in the NFL. They let Derek Henry walk. Then Derek 66:07 Henry has 732 more rushing yards and 22 more rushing touchdowns than the entire Titans 66:14 running back room, uh, since leaving. That's an insane one. Insane stat. Uh, they traded 66:21 Malik Willis for a seventh rounder. He then beat them 27 days later as a starting quarterback for 66:27 by 16 points. Traded Kevin Byrd to the Eagles for two draft picks. None of those players are 66:33 still on the Titans two seasons later. They lost their radio guy to the university of 66:37 Tennessee. They lost their hype man. I don't even know why that one. They just lost them. 66:43 They've never replaced Lance Smith lowest attendance number since Nissan Stadium opened in 1999 and they dropped the Greek mythology bit from the Titans branding 66:51 So no one won't knows what the Titans even mean anymore 66:55 Brutal, I you know what I feel bad for the Titans of all that they got to bring back Lance Smith 67:00 I feel I feel like he's the key 67:03 Yeah, the game day host 67:04 It sounds like Lance Smith was very very important and my Keith and my Keith and the Greek mythology bit from yeah from the logos 67:11 Yeah, it's been it's been really really bad. Just having it written out was like oh man 67:15 We got to put them all more respect on Titans fans the sufferings they've suffering 67:18 They've gone through they seem like they skate a little bit when we're talking about the the worst most petty owners in sports 67:24 Yeah, I 67:25 know what it was for me when 67:27 When Vrable went up to New England and they like honored him there during the bi-week and then he went back to Tennessee 67:33 Yeah, and Tennessee caught big feelings about that. Yep. The ownership was like what the fuck are you a? 67:39 Patriots guy are you a Titans guy? 67:40 Yeah, like that told me that they're operating from a 67:44 Pretty bad position of insecurity and most things that they do I'd agree. I'd agree 67:49 It's just for whatever reason I think it's because they're one of the newer franchises and the colors scheme 67:55 I don't know. It's just the Titans are really 67:58 They're going through it right now. So I feel bad for Titans fans. You are seen 68:03 It's shout out same old brown at RBT for that thread to so write it all out 68:07 I'd imagine he was like sobbing lightly sobbing while writing that out and rightfully so 68:12 My cool throne is the Philadelphia Eagles 68:15 Because did big Dom did a public appearance on Monday night and said he's gonna fix it. Yeah 68:21 Get things right on back on track. He didn't say he was gonna fix it. Was he with Siriani? No 68:31 They say big Dom on stage promising Eagles will be fixed. Okay, so Eagles would be fixed 68:36 You're right. Eagles to be fixed. I actually believe that's a big time. 100% believe them must win this weekend. Who you playing Panthers? 68:48 Sean is good 68:51 Eagles you 68:53 Eagles defense has made a lot of good good quarterbacks. So pretty pedestrian the past couple weeks 68:57 Not case Kenan not case Kenan case Kenan is excellent quarterback 69:03 If we had Tyson Bajan, who knows what happens whole season could be different 69:08 That Vikings concussion of Tyson Bajan was really totally different game. The whole season could be different. Totally different 69:14 I'm glad big Dom has taken some accountability though. That's the kind of guy he is and the fucking concussion guy 69:20 The fucking concussion guy. Who's that? We already talked about the concussion guys. Yeah 69:25 Right. Oh, he's talking back. He's talking back about the you said you said I don't get the concussion guys neither 69:30 to why yeah I said that or somebody said it was said on it was set on the show 69:36 someone said it big Dom is gonna save the yeah Eagles are gonna Eagles are gonna 69:39 win this weekend they're gonna get fixed must win they're gonna win you can still 69:43 win the division even if you lose yeah cuz I'm gonna play the Cowboys yeah yeah 69:49 you guys are still in it max hey this bullshit that like I was looking at the 69:55 standing today. It's like the Bucks are still alive. Like they're 70:02 one and four. You shouldn't be one and four and be like we could 70:05 still win our division. You play where you play the NFC North 70:08 every team is over 500. If there was a if the Bears were one 70:11 and four and the Vikings are five and oh you can't you can't 70:15 catch that. The Bucks are like yeah we're one and four we're 70:18 like a game away. Yeah from from being back in this. It's 70:22 not right dead Zach. It's not right Zach. Hank what do you 70:25 I think that season big Dom's promise 70:29 Like Babe Ruth in the hospital to the kid big Dom we're gonna get this fixed and be careful with what you say 70:36 Yeah, that's it's if you're an Eagles fan 70:39 You probably are down in the dumps, but then you hear that and it's like all right. We're all the way back 70:43 Why is our head of security speaking at the dent like it making a public appearance? I don't know 70:50 But I like what he's saying. We're back. Yeah big Dem. He's a union guy 70:56 Lib dumb 70:59 See you I think the Eagles are gonna be back. I might bet the Eagles had a respect for big Dom this week same 71:05 I'm gonna do that 71:06 What's those? What's this for whose line is it anyway? It's Eagles minus one and a half 71:09 We're not even we don't even have to play the game fine. It's Eagles minus one and a half. There we go 71:15 Eagles and guys are getting 71:17 Apparently guys are supposed to be getting healthy. Say one should be back to Vonte Smith should be that big dumb 71:21 That's huge. That's huge. Yeah. All right 71:23 I think for him to say something like that. He knows something that we don't know. Mm-hmm 71:28 Shit's getting turning around. So I'm gonna trust him. What's what are the odds right now for the Eagles to win that division? I 71:34 Think they're the favorite, right? 71:37 Plus money. Yeah, we looked at it. There was they were like plus 170 cowboys. We're like plus 180 71:44 Giants who are in first 71:46 I'll say really plus 310 and then you guys were like plus 700. I'll say this. Yeah, I fucking nailed that 71:53 Yeah, and in the years when the NFC East is like a joke of a division 71:57 That tends to be where you see the commander's graphic flash up on the list of division winners over the years 72:03 It's when everybody is below 500 NFC least. Yeah, but see least max you're not out of it yet 72:09 Nope 72:11 That's really nice of you PFT. He's great. My guy's right in there 72:15 You could still do like Eagles. I know you're going through a tough time 72:18 There's a lot of questions about end of game clock management with your sad little team 72:23 But you're right in there, Max. You're in there. Stay in the fight. Yeah, hang in there 72:27 Okay, Zach 72:29 I'm a hot seat this week's gonna be FIFA president Gianni in Fentino. You guys see what's going on with him. No 72:35 Is it something good? Not anything good. No, they're saying so, you know, we a country did recently host a world cup 72:41 That was us 72:42 They're saying that the organization that put together that world cup who was entrusted to do so may have slid Gianni 72:48 roughly a $1.7 million envelope, 72:51 and FIFA's just denying it. 72:52 No. 72:53 They're saying that didn't happen. 72:54 They're saying his $6 million salary is just enough 72:57 and that the 1.7 didn't come through 72:59 and it definitely wasn't from the host country. 73:01 No, I, no. 73:02 Why would the head of FIFA lie about that? 73:04 A bribe? 73:06 Soccer? 73:07 You kidding me? 73:08 Come on. 73:09 He just plain in the face, 1.7. 73:10 I saw somebody made a post, 73:12 I think it was during the World Cup 73:13 when it was right after the battle again 73:16 and got brought back and they overturned the suspension. 73:18 And it was some British guy just being like, 73:20 I miss Sepp Blatter, a proper Brown envelopesman. 73:24 It's true, like Sepp Blatter, he did corruption, 73:27 but he did it classily. 73:29 Something to be said for that. 73:30 We long for the days of, yeah. 73:32 Like he would meet you probably in the finest hotels, 73:35 the like lobby bar of the Four Seasons. 73:38 He'd have a corner table set aside just for you and him. 73:41 And then you would put the envelope discreetly 73:43 on the ground. 73:43 he would pick he would have the guy that he was with pick it up. So he didn't touch it. That's how 73:48 business should be done with FIFA. I don't like the accusations of like behind the scenes maybe 73:53 maybe crypto bribes all that. That to me seems beneath the sport of soccer. Let's bring back 73:58 SEP. No tree companies in soccer they just do right in front of you. Yeah. Then they deny it. 74:03 Also quick update I guess since we're talking about soccer taught him 19th on the table gentlemen. 74:08 Okay. What 19th 19th I believe. Yeah. Whoa. You guys look for updates there sometimes 74:13 but up the spurs yes spurs down who do you refer again I'm a Chelsea guy we're 74:18 sixth okay you guys any nefarious things oh yeah everybody gets nefarious but 74:24 yeah you gotta get a little bit are you jealous that like that's a you're away 74:28 that you got nefarious but you didn't even try to get nearly as nefarious as 74:32 man city did no because that kind of nefariousness leads you to relegation 74:37 that whole that whole scandal after you read more and more about it it gets 74:40 It's funnier and funnier. 74:41 They just made up companies to sponsor the team. 74:44 It's honestly kind of impressive 74:45 because it just kept going. 74:46 Yeah, some of their main sponsors just didn't exist. 74:51 Yeah. 74:52 So whatever you put into a spreadsheet 74:54 and print off enough times can become true for long enough? 74:57 Yeah, and then now there's speculation 75:00 that they won't get demoted, they won't get relegated 75:02 because the country of England relies too much 75:06 on energy, oil, and gas from the country that owns Man City. 75:12 So it's like they don't want to upset the ruling parties 75:14 so they can't give them too much of a punishment 75:17 when it comes to points punishments. 75:20 It's like it starts playing with the resources 75:22 of the country. 75:23 Yeah. 75:23 Like it will put the squeeze on these quick if you. 75:25 Right. 75:25 Like it'll affect all of England 75:27 if you relegate Man City. 75:30 Yeah, you can't, they're too big to fail. 75:31 They're too big to fail. 75:32 Yeah, they're too big to fail. 75:33 It's it's maybe the funniest part funniest scandal, but also like maybe the 75:38 Maybe the biggest scandal in the history of sports 75:40 Zach you're a cool throw. I do my cool through this week can be penny hard way. Oh 75:44 Pay hard way stepped in 75:46 You guys know a new era of sports a lot of guys getting paid before they make it to the league 75:51 Memphis said Penny if you want more money, you're gonna have to pay up and he decided okay fine 75:55 I'll push 2.6 million of my own money into the 9 million total pot 76:00 To guys keep some guys who said look I had a great career. Ah, I want to coach this team 76:05 I'll say this. I'm shock more guys don't do this because you're basically investing in yourself 76:11 If Penny are if you are if you have money if you're an ex-player and you're your coach if you have let's say a hundred million dollars 76:19 Putting two to three million dollars in your roster 76:23 If your team does well, you could probably make millions more on your contract, right? 76:30 like it's actually a genius move he didn't want back-to-back bad years he's 76:34 like yeah I'll just bet it myself I like it mm-hmm I like it more guys should do 76:38 it that's yourself also I feel like that great way to win a win over the 76:41 locker room okay I really believe in you guys right I'm pushing all in this 76:45 also seems like maybe a move that is geared in a desperate spot if you're 76:49 doing this I don't know in the interviews he sounds pretty confident 76:53 about it like hey I didn't want to lose again let's just push I hope it 76:56 works out for him. I could see it. I could see it going the other way. But he it doesn't 77:02 work out. And then he's just out of a couple of million dollars. Yeah. Oh, you get fired 77:07 and you're out three years. Yeah. Mm hmm. That would not be good. High risk. High reward 77:10 though. Yeah. True. I like it. I like the move. More guys should do it. Okay. Let's 77:14 get to some college football talk with Brandon Walker. Great college football talk with 77:17 Brandon Walker. Uh, where would you like to start Brandon? 80:30 Should we just at least admit that you were dead wrong about Oregon? 80:33 Oh yeah. Yeah. We can, we can start there. Uh, I will take that. 80:36 I was dead wrong about Oregon. It's two years in a row. 80:38 My national championship pick has bombed. I will say, 80:41 raise your hand if you thought Oregon was going to not be good this year, 80:44 because they looked on paper like they were going to be incredible. 80:47 I'll also say this, uh, in your defense, the Oklahoma State game, uh, was very clearly 80:54 Oklahoma State had to tell they were they knew exactly what was coming. That's a bad 81:00 coaching job by Oregon. And then Dylan Reola is just not a good quarterback. I think if 81:05 Dante Moore plays that game, they probably win that game with the way that UCLA was playing 81:09 on offense. But guess those excuses don't matter. Oregon season, I mean, they could 81:13 conceivably win it, win the rest of their games and still go conceivably, but they 81:18 got to go to Ohio State. Like there's just no, it's not happening. And Dylan 81:22 Raiola is the kind of bad there is one thing to not be good. Yeah, it's another thing to be outright bad outright bad 81:28 It hurts your team and against UCLA 81:29 He was outright bad and it's shocking because when he came against USC 81:33 He looked competent 81:34 He looked capable and he looked like he was gonna settle things down. He did the opposite. Yeah 81:38 Yeah, and so then they have Nebraska next right? Yeah for Oregon 81:43 Yeah, and so this feels like if there was gonna be any game that he'd be looking forward to it be this one 81:48 It'd be this one 81:49 but on that same note, I feel like because he's probably had this game 81:52 circled for so long, it would be the kind of game that he would absolutely shit 81:55 the bed in. Well, no, he might not play. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I don't know how 81:58 you would trust him as a coach. And if there's one game that would actually go 82:02 against starting him in a competition, it would be this one. It would be this one. 82:06 I don't know how you trust him because he was so bad against UCLA and now 82:09 if you go into practice and he looks good, you gotta weigh the fact that 82:11 oh, he's playing his old team, he's gonna freak out again. Yeah, I don't 82:15 see any I don't and plus the future the plan was to have him for the future the 82:19 plan was to send him this year he does the Dante more thing where he doesn't 82:22 play he learns a system and he comes in next year and he's your starter I don't 82:26 I think that's probably out the window yeah so as much shit as we'll give you 82:28 for Oregon bad pick sure your second pick you got Georgia in the second 82:33 round now I forget if that was just like you got Oregon Georgia back to 82:37 back or if it went back and forth I don't I believe I was the first 82:40 overall pick and picked Oregon and then I got Georgia on the comeback you 82:43 got Georgia on the comeback. Bad ball knowledge by Tom. Good pick on your part. Love to Georgia. 82:48 I think they're fantastic. The defense, they haven't even really taken this defense out 82:52 for a stroll yet. They had the one game the other night in the rain against Alabama, but 82:56 this defense is going to choke everybody out, man. Chris Cole's incredible in the 82:59 middle of the back ends, incredible. They had some injuries and they still pretty much 83:03 shut down Keelan Russell. And did you think that anybody gets in trouble over leaking 83:06 the locker room scream fest that Kirby Smart has? Or do you think Kirby Smart 83:10 loves it? Leaking it, huh? Yeah. Yeah, that's what we're doing. That's what 83:13 I'm wondering. Yeah. No, that's, uh, that's the pregame 83:16 speech starring Kirby smart every time they leak it. 83:18 Yeah. And Gunner Stockton is just good. He's good. 83:21 He did. Like, I know that he's not the flashiest name and 83:23 there's, you know, when they did do the, oh my God, look 83:26 how loaded this draft class is, which is starting to look 83:29 a little iffy. Yeah. Uh, Gunner Stockton just really 83:33 good. He, he, he's got like a dog mentality. He can 83:37 hit open guy. He throws like, he was throwing a couple 83:39 seeds down the down the seam that they have a couple fast guys that tight end is is might 83:45 be special like I live like George is this beginning of the season I think that they 83:49 going into Alabama that's the best win of the season so not to not not to you know give anybody 83:55 credit here but the star of the Brandon Walker basketball show Liam Bluttman last year in 83:59 the season said whoever wins 2025 doesn't matter George's win in 2026 national title 84:04 And then to start the season he said out of a hundred and thirty-five teams a hundred and thirty-two of them 84:10 They would beat by double digits, and I think he's right. Yeah, that's how good they are 84:13 Yeah, is he is he an employee of the Brandon Walker football show or is he an employee of UCLA University? 84:18 He's an employee of Brandon Walker LLC. Okay, yeah, because he's been spent a lot of time with the Bruins 84:22 Yeah, and it's starting to get on my nerves a little bit. I think you might be going out this weekend 84:28 I think UCLA told him he can do his postgame 84:31 thing on Brandon Walker show from the Rose Bowl field they'll set him up they'll 84:34 put him a little studio out there I like that you just referred yourself in third 84:37 person there Brandon Walker yeah but Liam Bluffin could do his little thing on 84:42 the Brandon Walker show that's not in Walker that's not technically third 84:46 person that's me we're I'm referring to an entity there yeah but you should 84:49 just have my show but how would you know yes sure you have so many how would 84:55 you know you need to do something to separate yourself from the brand 84:58 Walker football show correct like establish your own idea you know what 85:01 should happen is is Blutman should be forced to bring on Mikey Volcano what 85:06 in what in what sense in what way guess as a guest as a guest for the show if 85:11 he's gonna spend that much time with UCLA okay let's get Mikey Volcano on the 85:15 show all right fair enough max when Matt was back shaking his head that what 85:20 Michael Volcano has got to come on this show yeah he's got to come on this 85:22 show yeah I would agree yeah hey big guy shut the fuck up oh I thought we 85:27 You're calling him big guy. 85:28 Yeah, yeah. 85:29 He's kind of weird when you get it. 85:30 Yeah. 85:30 Because I'm bigger than him? 85:31 Yeah, and also Meme's just a mean guy to people. 85:35 Yeah, we need to get him on this show first. 85:37 Why is Meme's allowed to be so mean? 85:39 He's really, really scary, and we're all worried 85:41 that someday he'll just come up and shoot this whole place 85:43 up. 85:44 I'm not even that mean. 85:45 Yeah, but I'm worried. 85:46 Yeah, but you have an edge to you where we're like, 85:48 hey, he could just kill us all one day. 85:50 You don't worry about that about like Zach or something? 85:52 No, no, it's definitely not. 85:54 I don't know. 85:55 I feel like Zach's got a there's an evil streak in there that y'all haven't seen yet. These guys are very judgmental 86:00 No, how are we judgmental? You've been calling him little guy and him big guy. That's the only reason I said it max 86:05 Well, no, yeah, Brandon would never be mean to a producer. I'm not offended 86:11 All right, I cannot kid it quickly. Yes, and I don't want to make too much of a big deal of it 86:16 Here's a surprise gotta play a game. Yeah, uh 86:20 Everyone's just penciling us UCLA into the playoffs. Yeah, no, no, no a pretty big game this weekend 86:25 They got a pretty big, I feel like a lot of people are overlooking that one. 86:28 Also, the thing about the Oregon game, yeah, you see, I didn't play well either. 86:32 No, it was the worst top 25 big game that I've watched, maybe ever. 86:36 And they're on their backup quarterback now, probably for the rest of the season. 86:39 So like they're not, they're not home free by any stress of the imagination. 86:43 I was looking at it last night, like the, the, if you consider Ohio State 86:46 and Indiana into the playoff, basically, who's the third team? 86:50 Is Iowa, Iowa looks pretty good for that spot. 86:52 Wisconsin's in the mix for that spot. 86:53 Northwestern's in the mix for that spot. This has been awesome. Nebraska's in the mix for that spot 86:57 There's a there's a lot of teams are sitting there 86:59 It's gonna be a bloodbath coming down the back half of the season in the big 10 87:02 I do think that minus Nico is actually maybe a plus because it Nico hasn't been good this year 87:07 They've been a good team. They've been running and they haven't been winning on the strength of Nico at all 87:11 Right. It's like replacement quarterback. Maybe equal to Nico, but then you really you're already on your backup quarterback 87:19 You play a physical style where you run the quarterback a lot. You're just it's just a dangerous spot 87:23 Yeah, I have a feeling that Chesney is not going to take the the long-term signetty approach 87:28 If there's one young college football coach that I could see trying to become an NFL guy 87:32 It might be Chesney. By the way, he's he's not young. Did you have you seen I? 87:39 Interviewed him yesterday. Have you guys interviewed him? Yeah 87:41 Handsome devil just a handsome devil and I saw the screenshot of me and him side by side yesterday 87:47 And I I was looking at me and I was looking at him and back to me and back to him 87:51 that's jarring. He's two years older than I am. Is he really? Yeah, and it was troubling because he 87:56 looks so good. Is he he's 35? He's 49. By the way, UCLA has been an incredible story. Everyone 88:02 talks about these coaches going to different schools and bringing their team. He didn't 88:08 bring that much of JMU. I think the new thing is, if you're a head coach, if you're looking 88:13 for a new job, just look at the schedule. Agreed. It's crazy the runway you can get 88:19 If you get a good schedule in one of these big conferences and again, I think you say he's very good 88:24 I'm not saying that it's all schedule, but what happened with Indiana the first year. They got a nice 88:29 Yeah, runway of like hey, this thing is gonna work. What happened with the UCLA's here 88:33 They've got a nice runway of this thing's gonna work. You show up in your schedules bad 88:37 I mean Ryan Silverfield that guy got hot. I had to double-check. Yeah, cuz I was like didn't he just get hired 88:43 He way he's he's already being ran out of Arkansas. I know I know 88:47 And if you look at A&M, Elko in his second year, 88:51 Elko walked in there with the easiest schedule in the SEC, 88:54 got to the playoff, and now the whole thing's falling apart. 88:56 How bad is it for Elko if he's openly referencing 88:59 message boards during his press conference? 89:01 It is ridiculously bad. 89:02 It's such an unforced error. 89:03 Plus, to be fair, that's a powerful message board. 89:06 It is a, so not only is he going after- 89:09 Explain it for people who are not tuned in. 89:11 So after Saturday's game, when they lost 27-6 89:14 in Missouri, they asked him what's going on, 89:17 and he said, um, I, I, I'll listen to the rest of the fan base. 89:21 I, I want the fan base to get behind us, but I'm not talking about Billy 89:23 cesspool over there. 89:24 Billy cesspool is Billy Lucci, who runs Texax, the number one 89:29 fan side in America, like he has built something over there. 89:31 Texax is huge. 89:32 They have a gigantic base of, uh, of, of givers of donors of, of 89:37 everything that's in there. 89:38 Texax, he basically took a torch to his entire fan base and said, 89:41 either get behind us or fuck you. 89:43 And you can't do that when you're struggling and you can't find 89:46 to quarterback and you're getting whipped. Who's typing right now? 89:52 I could. Tex-Sax? 89:55 No, Aggies, Tex-A-Nam. 89:58 Oh, Tex-Sax. 89:59 Yeah, Tex-Sax. Yeah, it's crazy. And then, yeah, I mean, so I actually think that's the 90:05 thing is like when you're trying to find a new job, look at that schedule for the 90:09 first two years. 90:10 Well, you can then get the momentum and then get the, and again, it's not saying 90:14 that Signeti's won a national title because the schedule is easy the first year. But I think the, 90:20 I think the world we're in with college football is, it's as much trans reported on NIL as it is 90:26 just lopsided schedule year to year. I really think schedule is one thing, 90:30 us when we're predicting the season, we don't look at it enough. Now, I tried it this year 90:34 with Penn State, but then Penn State just kind of has fallen on their face. But yeah, 90:38 schedule is so important. And these huge gigantic conferences, it creates these avenues for 90:43 teams to kind of slide into these bad schedules. You might not know at the beginning of the 90:46 year because if you look last year, A&M schedule didn't look that easy, but South Carolina fell 90:51 apart, LSU fell apart and all these things. And now if you look at teams in the big 10, 90:55 like with the work and falling apart, that is easing up some schedule concerns for a lot 90:59 of teams. Yeah, Penn State, yeah, like Penn State's been bad. So yeah, it's definitely, 91:04 it has a big, big factor. That being said, if you had UCLA on the schedule to begin the 91:08 year you had that as a win, you got to worry. Also, their MVP this year is way 91:12 Knight who's one of the best running backs in the yeah he's incredible all 91:16 the NCAA who is a JMU guy but he's at I forget how many yards per carry but it 91:19 feels like every time I'm watching him in a game he's averaging like 10 yards per 91:23 carry he had that one game where it was 10 for a hundred and I went back and 91:27 looked and he's been close to that every single now at Oregon he had to 91:30 run a little bit more to get to get the yards yeah with 103 but he's been 91:34 fantastic and this is a guy not just a JMU guy but a four-year JMU guy yeah 91:38 like he was there for a while he didn't pop off a JMU till his last 91:41 year yeah yeah uh can we talk about in you I'm sure you're gonna love talking 91:45 about this I love it yes Lane Kiffin with an all-time blunder against Kentucky 91:50 I don't know what happened to Lane guys you guys have talked to him a thousand 91:55 times it's crazy so just to set the stage for people who didn't watch the 91:58 game Kentucky at LSU at Kentucky LSU is minus eight and a half LSU it's 92:03 they're up three the Kentucky kickers miss two kicks yeah LSU has the ball 92:09 I think it was like the four they're on 45 43 fourth and one with a minute and a half left Kentucky has no timeouts 92:16 Lane Kiffin punts if he gets it the game is over if he punts Kentucky has a puncher chance to come down the field get a field goal 92:22 That's exactly what they do. They force over time 92:26 LSU scores first Kentucky scores goes for two wins the game Lane 92:29 I don't know why Lane Kiffin has been careful this year. I have no idea what happened to him 92:33 He is a guy that has flown by the seat of his pants in his entire career at Ole Miss at least that I've been seeing 92:39 He's going to go for it if it's fourth and two if it's fourth and three if it's anything reasonable like passes on 30 92:43 He's going for it. He's getting in and he had his foot on their neck. Yes 92:47 Took his foot off the whole point of having Lane Kiffin as your head coaches you win the games that way 92:51 Yes, when the hell has Lane Kiffin been I take his foot off the throat guy 92:55 I the only thing I can think of he doesn't trust the offensive line and he doesn't trust the quarterback 92:59 But he he's always trusted himself. I don't know why the fuck he did that 93:03 Is there a difference between him coaching as a like an underdog? 93:06 with no expectation and are limited expectations I'll say are and him 93:11 coaching at LSU being like the expectation is national championship so 93:14 it's like maybe he he lacks that confidence to say fuck it I'm gonna go 93:18 for it. Well at Ole Miss I mean he was basically it was kind of coaching with 93:21 house money because he built all that right he built every single bit of it 93:24 at LSU he has been given $40 million off the rip and he has been entrusted 93:28 with a team that's supposed to win a national title but he doesn't have a 93:31 national title quarterback and he knows that and I think it is 93:34 effect in the way he coaches. 93:35 Yeah, it was it was shocking though, because I was just like, 93:37 this is why you have Lee and he should have probably gone for two. 93:41 Yeah, start over time. 93:42 Knowing Will Stein is going to do it. 93:43 Will Stein has been incredible. 93:45 Will Stein like that's that's been one of the best stories. 93:48 He's an awesome coach. 93:50 Kentucky's kind of rolling right now. 93:52 That's another schedule one where it's like you looked at it 93:54 like Texas A&M that was sure that was a lot easier game 93:59 than you thought. 94:00 But go for two. 94:01 Knowing Will signs going to go for two. 94:02 He did it last week. 94:03 And not only that, Dan, the two-point conversion itself, 94:07 I mean, it was the most obvious quarterback draw you've ever seen. 94:10 And Blake Baker, the defensive coordinator at LSU, 94:12 he just lets them spread him out like they send out everybody 94:16 and they spread all the way out. 94:17 Now you got four guys in the box for five blockers. 94:19 That's not going to work. 94:21 And it was kind of a coaching disaster there at the end for LSU. 94:25 Yeah. Can we talk about Texas? 94:26 We can talk about whoever you guys want. 94:27 Let's talk Texas for a second. 94:30 Disappointing game. 94:31 I always think Red River the shootout the rivalry whatever you're calling it. Yeah 94:36 It's a big-time Steelers Ravens throughout the record books. Yeah, because you'll see some opposite now 94:41 The downside Ravens is your go-to throughout the record books rivalry. That's the classic throughout the record. Okay 94:46 I mean there are other I would say bigger rivalries in sports. Yeah, but it's that's the one where it's like no love loss 94:51 I just think it's crazy. You have to go the NFL to find one 94:53 You could just say Ohio State, Michigan. You can say any there's there's a lot of rivalries. I think it's more bad blood 94:58 sure. That's like more bad blood and it's real. Okay, like it 95:01 infects every part of your life. Okay. But with the Red River 95:04 shootout, it's always this might be a win that Oklahoma looks 95:09 back at in a year or two. And they're like, Damn, I wish we'd 95:11 lost that game. Because if you win this game as a head coach, 95:14 it tends to forgive a lot of the shit that you did. Charlie 95:17 Strong extended his career famously at Texas, by winning 95:20 some of these games that he shouldn't have won. But with 95:22 this game in particular, how much does this scare you for 95:26 Texas's future scares the shit out of me if I'm a Texas fan because all I know is if we show up and 95:32 there's a good defense on the other side of very good defense I don't have the quarterback and I 95:36 don't have the coach that's going to overcome it and I thought I did the only way Oklahoma was going 95:41 to win this game Oklahoma has a bad quarterback a bad offense they they just can't do anything 95:44 they John material awesome the game at Michigan he got him blown out against Georgia and then 95:49 he showed up and he didn't exactly lead him to victory here but they needed a special 95:53 teams touchdown they needed to pick six and arch gave them the pick six and then arch gave them 95:56 a the the interception with 19 seconds left to lose the game is as inexcusable a throw 96:01 as you'll ever have in college football and for whatever reason he's in his fourth year he's a 96:05 fourth year junior sarc hasn't developed him and he has no instincts and i don't know how a 96:10 manning doesn't have quarterback instincts yeah because he will he'll he'll drop back he'll 96:15 get fooled by coverage all the time he'll throw it he'll just flail it out there to a db 96:19 Like it's just there are moments when he's great 96:21 and then there are moments where like this guy is not a quarterback and I'm 96:26 Listen, I'm not ready to get some but I'm out of we can't do excuses anymore. No. It's three or three 96:32 You have an offensive wizard coach. You win got cam Coleman. There's nothing you have five star receivers at every single spot 96:39 You have the most talent in the country has to look better 96:43 I don't I don't I don't get it because it's not like he never shows anything 96:47 right he shows something sometimes and he'll shut the other day when he threw 96:51 the pig six the next drive he was Joe Montana was bang bang bang bang and where 96:55 does it go I don't understand it but Sark doesn't help him like Sark just 96:58 stands over there and he doesn't I don't think he plays through his strengths 97:03 or plays against his weaknesses at all yeah what if his last name was I am 97:06 in lava that'd be confusing he doesn't look like it looks like yeah yeah 97:11 Yeah, um, but would you ding him for that? 97:14 I don't I'm in the obvious such a cool name. 97:18 Now, if his if his name if his last name was O'Shaughnessy. 97:21 Yeah, that's cool to if his last name was Fitzpatrick. 97:25 If he was Ryan Fitzpatrick, I think we'd look at this and be like, 97:28 he's going to have a career just like his old man. 97:29 That's great. 97:30 We'd be pretty comfortable with him just being like a high three star guy. 97:33 Yeah, if it's Fitzpatrick, I think there's a chance he goes back. 97:37 I think there's a huge chance it goes back. 97:39 But here's the thing. 97:40 He might not get better. 97:40 There's no guarantee. Yeah, he just keeps geese. Yeah. He hasn't gotten better. 97:45 There's everybody says he's going back. He's going back. That's fine. He can go back. 97:48 But show me the proof he or Texas will get better because of it. 97:51 Yeah. I mean, he's in pretty much the perfect situation for a quarterback, right? 97:55 I can't imagine a better one. He's got an outstanding defense that could 97:58 be good enough to carry them far like despite his play, but he can't be 98:01 throwing interceptions in the last 30 seconds of a game. 98:03 If he doesn't make a mistake, if he doesn't make a catastrophic, 98:06 two catastrophic mistakes, they win that game easily the other day. 98:09 Yep. Uh, okay. Lord up. What else are we going to hit? Oh, 98:13 the SEC is just listen mid. I don't know if it's just pumping 98:18 each other up because every single Florida wins one big game 98:22 and now is the is the best team in the world. This guy 98:25 didn't fall for that. Okay. This guy didn't fall for that. I 98:27 said pump the brakes on Florida as soon as they beat Ole 98:29 Miss and Ole Miss's resume is not great. Why is Tennessee 98:32 ranked 14? Tennessee should not be ranked. Tennessee 98:35 shouldn't be ranked at all. Tennessee doesn't have a 98:38 quarterback. Yeah, figure out. They've tried to play both. They don't have 98:41 quarterback. They went to Arkansas. Almost the loss that came like even 98:43 Tennessee, a rational Tennessee fan, if they exist, would sit here and say, 98:46 yeah, we're not the number 14. Why is LSU 22? Yeah. Listen, there's, 98:50 there's a lot of, I will say there's some inherent SEC bias in the rankings. 98:54 I got no problem with that. But also, who do you replace them with? 98:59 Do you, or do you replace them with Purdue? Do you replace them with, 99:02 like, I don't know the answer to that. Purdue's been good. Purdue's been 99:08 Overtime loss to wait for us away from foreign to like there's a good teams across this country 99:12 Some don't like should Nebraska be ranked right now. Maybe they haven't beaten anybody either. So we're half 99:17 Johnson we have you we have half a story 99:20 I do think the SEC conveyor belt this of excellence this year has been a little bit wonky when LSU beat Clemson 99:28 We all crowned them right we all said this that and then Ole Miss beat them 99:31 So Ole Miss goes up to that spot now 99:32 They're number six in the country number five in the country or whatever it is Florida beats them 99:35 they go up there and hill it's just yeah it's just been one week and now everybody's in 99:39 love with Missouri because they beat in Florida and A&M back to back and they're not that 99:42 good. 99:43 Who's Missouri have next week? 99:44 Missouri plays this week, who's it, who's Missouri play this week, Ole Miss. 99:50 So Ole Miss this week. 99:51 Yeah they got Ole Miss this week. 99:52 So that's the team that's going to win this week. 99:53 I think Ole Miss is going to beat Missouri, yeah, pretty comfortably too. 99:56 Okay, all right, what about, what about Bama? 99:59 You had a funeral for Alabama last year. 100:03 Oh man, this funeral or Tweet, you're, you're, you're, you're, quote, 100:05 What's I don't yet you said that I think killing the boy was a quote means I said you should go back to Greenbelt 100:12 Alabama listen, I kill teams twice so twice a year. Yeah 100:15 It was like it was something like they they sucked all the toughness out of this program 100:19 I think it was but it was like a funeral for the entire yeah 100:22 That was true. They laid down in his floor state. They lay down against Indiana, you know this year 100:27 They do look a little bit tougher. They look more physical. They stood up a little bit to Georgia 100:30 I thought Georgia I thought Georgia dominated that game a little bit more in a three-point victory, but still it was 100:36 Yeah, I mean those are bad. The pass interference is a mess. That was a pass. That was absolutely a pass 100:41 Alabama guy and 100:43 Killing the board yelling at his player like I kind of liked it. Of course. No, I'm fine 100:48 That's the toughness that you said they lack. He's kind of showing a little fire 100:53 I've got no issue now. I didn't really love him saying you cost us the fucking game 100:57 Oh, he did. Well, I mean, they, I think that game was pretty much lost at that 101:00 point. Well, but they had already gotten the first down because of the past. 101:04 They had already gotten the, and they had no timeouts. 101:06 Like they were going to, if they got the ball back, it's going to be 10 seconds 101:08 left. Is that a man that's feeling the pressure of a hot seat? 101:11 No, no. Kaelin DuBourg's not on hot seat. I think Kaelin, I think 101:14 Alabama's in a great spot to finish 11 and one. 101:17 I think at Baton Rouge is probably their toughest test yet. 101:20 And we'll see if Lane's able to put something together in the back 101:22 half of the schedule. But I don't think he's on the hot seat. 101:25 I don't I don't think there's any concerns about killing the ball right now, but as soon as there are I'll be there 101:30 Yeah, I'll I'm dead again. What about we we have talked about this you and I on on our other shows that we've done 101:36 but the 101:37 The big 12 is a mess. We talked about on college football show last week 101:41 I don't I do not trust Texas Tech. Yeah, I do like their offense does not look like trust BYU. I do not trust BYU I 101:50 Kind of like Houston. I like kind of like Utah's running game 101:54 I kind of like Baylor. There's elements to like about everybody. I don't know what to do 101:58 Like there's elements to like about Oklahoma State, but they were also down like 14 nothing the UCF immediately 102:02 And also by the way, there might be two big 12 teams to get in the playoffs. Yeah. Well, I'm just saying 102:09 I'm just I know how it's all shaking out if the big 10 cannibalized itself on that third spot 102:15 Yeah, and the SEC cannibalized it's like the big 12 could have two teams 102:20 Yeah, I like Baylor a lot Baylor's one goal line tackle on two-point conversion from being undefeated and being like number 13 right now and 102:27 Stayed there. I don't I don't even know if they're I don't think they're not right 102:29 Yeah, but I think they're pretty good. They went out to the desert and just whipped Arizona State 102:33 Like I think they're okay and DJ lagway is playing average football 102:38 Which if you bring in DJ lagway and you say you're a quarterback, you're hoping for average football 102:42 You can win games like that. Yeah. Yeah, the the it's just like everyone kind of 102:48 But I think with Baylor is that they have to play all three where it's like Texas second in and 102:54 BYU don't like Baylor has to finish at BYU Texas Tech at Houston 102:58 I don't think they're gonna go through that it feels to me like we're gonna all year. We're gonna kind of scratch our heads 103:03 We're gonna wonder we're gonna nash our teeth and at the end Texas Texas gonna be sitting there, right? 103:06 And I'm not gonna be impressed by that. Yeah, I'm not saying they're good 103:09 I just say I think they're gonna be the survivor. Yeah. Yeah use Houston 103:13 I think it's the other yeah, I mean they have a big game against Utah that Houston Utah game will be 103:18 like a big who's deciding it. What are we thinking about Indiana this year? I know a lot of people 103:23 are saying it's it's underwhelming. It doesn't look like it did last year. I will say that 103:27 that game that they had this past week that looked a lot like the Indiana Iowa game in 2025. 103:32 Yeah maybe but the only thing is last year when it looked like that what they had was a recipe 103:38 where their defensive line was going to bludgeon you to death their their running game 103:42 was going to bludgeon you to death and the quarterback would make the plays in the 103:44 fourth quarter and you'd lose the game well this year they can't really run it like that 103:48 They didn't run it like that against Nebraska there and their defensive line was giving up what they were getting gash in the first half 103:53 Like I just think at the line of scrimmage. They're not as strong as they were last year and they're not like 103:59 Did they win close games last year? Yes, but it was because of they never let opponents breathe 104:03 They let Nebraska breathe the entire game and Nebraska kind of just choked on their own vomit at the end 104:08 But like it just doesn't look the same as it as it looked they're not dominating at the line of scrimmage like they did 104:13 Yeah, but it's a different they do have now. They have a guy who where they play a b-minus or c-plus game 104:21 They got a guy like Nick Marsh who can make two plays when the game for you. Yep. He's special and in Charlie back and Charlie B 104:27 Yeah, yeah 104:29 Saban and Kirby smart have always had these teams where they've got 104:33 Such overwhelming individual talent that even if they come out against a Vanderbilt or an Arkansas 104:38 So on there asleep in the third quarter, 104:40 Julio Jones or somebody, some, George Pick and some freak 104:43 makes a play and they just, they can't lose. 104:46 And I feel like Indiana's kind of got that right now. 104:48 Yeah. 104:48 I got a question for you. 104:49 I'm going to give you a blind resume. 104:52 I'm going to do three teams that can win 104:54 the national championship and then I'm going to do 104:56 another team that has three wins 104:58 that can win the national championship. 104:59 And you tell me which roster is stronger. 105:03 Team A has Oregon, Georgia and Texas 105:07 team B. Wait, I'm picking a tronche. Yeah. So the teams have tronche universities. 105:15 So team A, their roster of universities includes Oregon, Georgia, and Texas. 105:22 Okay, Oregon, Georgia, Texas. And then tronche 2. Does tronche work? 105:26 Aka TB. Yeah, we're in finance. Jesus Christ. Someone didn't go through the 105:30 2008 market short. That's okay. Oh man. Yeah. What are you 105:36 fighting head in the sand? I don't think it's subprime is the 105:38 type of beef he gets out of at a buffet. Oh, and then Team B 105:43 Trunch two has Notre Dame, Ohio State in Miami. Are you taking 105:49 Trunch one or 20? We haven't mentioned Notre Dame in Miami 105:52 because they have not played a single opponent. So they play 105:54 themselves. Yeah. Miami Miami is not like you could you 105:58 You could tell me every week, just a fake Miami score. 106:01 I'd be like, sure. 106:02 Like you just be like, oh yeah, Miami, 106:04 Miami played Pitt this week, they won by 30. 106:06 Okay, cool. 106:07 I didn't see it. 106:08 I am going to take Trunch B. 106:12 Gotta be Trunch B. 106:13 Yeah, I, Georgia is my national title pick. 106:16 Yeah. 106:16 But you just have more depth 106:18 than Trunch B with Ohio State Notre Dame. 106:20 I do not believe in Texas. 106:21 Trunch B was. 106:22 I call them pretenders. 106:23 In Oregon State. 106:23 Trunch B was Tom Finnelli. 106:25 Got it. 106:25 Trunch A was Tom Finnelli. 106:26 Oh, man. 106:28 did you honestly not know that brand man well he doesn't know what you just 106:32 what you just waddled right in that one yeah I didn't waddle yeah you did you 106:37 waddle right I'm a big guy now brand new waddle that's what they're coming in 106:40 I know I waddle that playoff that playoff race isn't won by the by tronche 106:47 A&B it's one in the in the tronches it's one oh you don't know a tronche it's 106:51 one of the two it's one of the two it's one of the tronches past the six 106:54 spot all right it's one by your seventh eighth and ninth team that makes it okay it's not 106:58 one by your by your marquee draft picks although Texas still going to make the playoff and Georgia 107:04 is going to win the national title so okay what do you want me to do breaking usually can be a big 107:08 picture look at the realignment that jay mu is going through going to the american which just 107:13 announced yesterday leaving the sunbelt in a couple years going to the american conference 107:16 which seems like it is now solidly the best non-power conference in america i think it 107:21 has been the best nonpower and now adding JMU is gonna be even better. I said this to Blutman 107:26 last night and he scoffed. There will be years where the American is almost as good as the 107:32 Big 12 or at least maybe on par with the Big 12. Like, if you look at it right now, like, 107:36 the Big 12's okay, but the Americans gonna have these years where they're really, really, 107:40 really, especially when Tulane gets right and Memphis is up and then JMU's up and 107:44 like, it's gonna be a very good league. Yeah. Big picture, what does that mean 107:48 for the big picture to me is not what jmu looks like in the american is what's the second move after 107:54 that acc is the acc yeah are we ten years he's still around are we ten years away from jmu in the 108:00 acc yeah i think yes but i think there's also a good chance that the acc in ten years looks a lot 108:04 like the american right the sunbelt does now so the acc comes down well yeah i am in florida state 108:10 and them are gonna try to they're gonna go to the sec or the big tenor yeah so it's good we're 108:14 gonna end up probably with two power conferences even though that that new 108:18 bill is trying to to limit that if it gets past any thoughts on the new bill 108:22 you want to say you want to stump for the new bill I don't I don't I don't get 108:26 into that new bill shit yeah I don't new bills here we can talk about we can 108:29 talk about the games and the quarterbacks and I can be wrong on a lot 108:32 of shit but I I'm not getting into the bills and I'm not reading you do the 108:35 old bills UNC not bad what UNC annoyingly annoyingly competent old 108:41 And they play they play Duke this week. Yeah, Duke kind of took the air out of the sales by losing Georgia Tech 108:47 But like usually bell check does that that's kind of that that's kind of a sneaky little fascinating game 108:51 Yeah, there's some this week. Yeah, no, it's great 108:54 There's some sneaky robbery games that are just high like Kansas Kansas State 108:57 That one we just mentioned Auburn, Georgia like there's there's just some games for ourselves you yeah 109:02 There's some games off the radar. Well 109:05 Yeah, we got some health concerns that I don't think are gonna come out our way 109:09 Camarillo. Yeah. What's the issue with Camarillo? He's eating 109:12 mushrooms. Turf toe. Yeah. No. Yeah. Super Camarillo. That's 109:16 awesome. He got hit by a blue shell. Some really tough. Some 109:19 really tough turf toe. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He's little right now. 109:22 Yeah. He's really tiny. He's awesome though. He's incredible. 109:26 And if we have sacrifice in LSU game to to get him right 109:30 and then start rolling again, that would be yeah, that's 109:32 what we're going to sacrifice it. Zach finishes off 109:34 Roback question RHOBSK.com promo code take 20% off your first purchase Q zips polo 109:40 So these jogger shorts roback.com promo code take I did have a quick question. Hey, Zach. What's up, Brian? How are you good? 109:46 How are you not too bad? It's great day today 109:48 You look good. You I mean you I'm trying to be brandy look great as ever. Thank you hairline kind of nice today 109:53 Thank you 109:55 When Mississippi State's kind of a margin of victory 109:58 Fading throughout the season so far. Is there a where's your head out for the rest of the season? 110:03 What what does that even good question? Well, no, he's right 110:08 But isn't that just getting into the meteor schedule and the opponents get tougher every time because 110:13 We I can't remember even who we open with you Elman row 110:16 But then we beat the brakes off Minnesota in Minnesota sure, but we played us South Carolina on the road beat them by 110:22 Seven or something right and then you beat the movie Missouri by seven who's number seven number twelve team in the country now 110:29 Right, and then you lost it's diminishing. Yeah, but I think you told me that Missouri is gonna lose the Ole Miss 110:34 They are but the teams are the teams are getting better. That's all we're just getting in the meat of our schedule 110:39 We have one of the toughest schedules in the country. Yeah, no Max or Zach is dead wrong 110:44 I'm just gonna defend Zach here cuz you're going at him. You won the first game by 49. Sure 110:49 You won the second game by 25. Yeah, sure 110:51 You won the third game by 7 you won the fourth game by 7 then you lost the 110:56 the fifth game by about a billion. So Zach is right. The margin of victory has been diminishing. 111:03 Well, I would say it hasn't because the last two margins of victories are the same 111:07 and the last one wasn't a victory. So that is a count towards margin of victory. 111:10 If there's a graph? Sure. Straight down. Right. But we played Alabama. 111:16 We played the Alabama Kerms and Ty. He didn't talk about the, 111:19 did you say anything about who you, they were playing? You just said, 111:21 Not a word, just math. I guess to answer, I guess to answer your question, Zach. 111:26 What was the question? 111:27 I'm not concerned with it because we're going to get Kamario healthy again. 111:30 He's going to get the mushrooms going to get big and we're going to be, we're going to 111:32 be good. 111:33 Follow up? 111:34 I thought he only got one. 111:35 No, he gets follow-ups. 111:36 He always gets. 111:36 He gets unlimited follow-ups. 111:38 What loving home would you like to see Kamario Taylor go to next year? 111:41 Oh, no. 111:41 That's a bad question, Zach. 111:42 That's a mean one. 111:42 That's a bad question. 111:43 We've been on record. 111:45 You should do a cowbell drive. 111:46 Yeah. 111:47 You should make a Kamario cowbell. 111:50 But you also credit to Zach for asking the hard questions. 111:52 Yeah. 111:53 He's not going there. 111:54 No, no, no. 111:54 He loves Mississippi State. He grew up in Noxby County. 111:56 Ever been to Noxby County? 111:58 Do you? 111:58 Beautiful place. 111:59 Brandon, can I ask you a question? 112:00 Max, are you telling him to say no? 112:01 I figure he knows to say no. 112:02 No, I was saying I've never been there. 112:04 Okay. 112:05 Yes. 112:06 You're going to ask me a question? 112:08 Do you think he loves Mississippi State 112:11 more than he loves $20 million? 112:14 I believe Mississippi State has the money on hand 112:17 to have Camario in a Mississippi State uniform for life. 112:21 $20 million for life. 112:23 So he's not even gonna go to the NFL. No, no, no, no, he's gonna go the NFL 112:26 But he will be I I've heard from other coaches on campus of the best recruiter in Starville is Camarillo Taylor 112:33 That when they bring in recruits, they you know, is that illegal other sport? No, it's not illegal 112:39 I he's not other sports. They let him come Mario and and and Camarillo convinces him to come Mississippi State 112:44 Yes, he loves Mississippi State. You grew up in what County? I grew up in Clay County, West Point, Mississippi 112:50 Yes, which is one County north of Noxby County. Okay 112:53 But you, you never left Mississippi either. 112:56 Oh well, for money and opportunity, here's the thing. 113:03 What do we have a meeting about every six months? 113:08 Yeah, you come into my office, you're like, I gotta go. 113:10 I want to go home. 113:11 Yes. 113:12 Please let me go home. 113:12 And you say, and you say, relax. 113:15 And I say, okay. 113:16 And every six months I go in there and say, 113:18 please let me go home. 113:19 So you better hope that there's a me 113:21 in Mississippi State when Camario says we got use. Yeah. But when Camario goes 113:26 into my patrol office in Mississippi State says, I got to go get that money. 113:32 Yeah. Just say, hey, relax, relax. Stay here. We got you. Stay here. Mississippi State's got 113:36 plenty of money. I'm not worried about it. We're going to build around him next 113:40 year and we're going to be a national title contender. I think this right 113:42 here is the case in point. They should show this conversation to Camario 113:46 like, Hey, you can leave for more money, but you're always going to want 113:49 to go back. You're going to be a better miserable old man. Yeah. Surrounded by asshole. I am 113:53 rooting for Camaro to stay and then be good in the NFL because God knows. Dak Prescott 113:58 sucks. Dak Prescott obviously does not suck. No, he's got a bad game the other day. I will 114:04 give you that and the stadium workers are calling him in bears. It's a rough scene. No 114:09 worry. That's so mad. And then he realized, oh, shit, if I go after this guy, it's 114:11 probably going to be the Daytona parking lotting all again today. It wasn't Daytona 114:15 Panama City and that was multiple guys. It was like 30 guys. Yeah, he got that guy fired 114:22 Did he I don't think he got that guy fired. That's what I think the camera 114:25 I just read right now on Yahoo Sports 114:27 It was embarrassing Michael Irvin lashes out of Dak Prescott for getting cowboys and fire. So Michael Irvin 114:32 Double down on the in bear embarrassing. Yeah, yeah Michael Irvin says Dak Prescott's conduct has embarrassed the Dallas Cowboys 114:42 Okay, Michael Irvin said that yeah fine 114:46 I love Michael Irving just not giving a fuck. Yeah. Yeah, I know what they're gonna say 114:53 Yes, that's actually pretty cool. Yeah, that's not embarrassing. No 114:58 We're talking about conduct. I mean like come on. What are you doing with the cowboys are known for it's like strippers coke? 115:04 Yeah, winning it'd be a big three getting getting supporting. It's fired. Yeah, I don't think he got him 115:11 I don't think he walked Jerry Jones office at fire this person. I think the camera guy who called it got in fire 115:17 I'll bring you live in Milwaukee now. Yes. Are you rooting for the Brewers? You got the jacket on? 115:22 I'm a Braves fan. They have zero ties to Milwaukee, but I I yeah, I like the Brewers and this is a sick jacket 115:28 So it's more about the jacket. It's a sick jacket. It's a good-looking jacket. I it's a sick Jack 115:33 Is this is this right now? It can we point at this moment say this is the peak of the Milwaukee Brewer season the fact that 115:39 Brand Walker is now wearing a jacket. 115:41 Sick, no, no, pity. 115:42 Sick jacket. 115:42 Thank you. 115:43 Representing them, National Sports Podcast. 115:45 Doc, help me out, is this a sick jacket? 115:48 I like the full embroider on the chest, I'll say. 115:51 It's a jacket. 115:52 I'm also, I'm rude for the brewers, 115:54 but I fear that right now what you're doing 115:55 is jinxing them. 115:56 You will tell me it's a sick jacket. 115:57 I'll say that's a, I like the embroidery up front. 115:59 It's a good jacket. 116:01 Come on, give me a sick jacket. 116:02 I wanna go back to, you're a Brewer's fan. 116:04 What, why? 116:05 Sick jacket. 116:05 No, I'm not. 116:06 You've been to more Brewer's fans 116:07 in the past five years, 116:08 and you've been the brave or break 116:10 Turn off your mic 116:14 The question was understood too deep on the bench to try to 116:20 Brewer's I've been to 25 Brewer's games over last a lot of saying you can't be like I'm not a Brewer's fan 116:26 If you go to 25 games, I just think we got to just and you're wearing merch during the play 116:31 It's also not that sick of a jacket the jackets fine. It's fine. It's not sick. It's just the brewers have a good logo 116:37 It's a good it's a sick logo anything that they have is a sick logo on my jacket. Good job with the logo 116:43 I just fear that you're you're jinxing him right now. I'm not just how would be a shame 116:47 Can we just stop with the fucking jinx is everywhere? I go Mississippi State 116:51 Can we stop sell babe? Because you rastling good morning, sunshine 116:57 All right, we'll see a Brandon. Come on cut 118:46 No, that's all that's all that 118:49 Stuff that people like invent that happens like what the fuck there was a comma there like that doesn't happen 118:55 know if it's a good take, it's a good take. But it is so I'm 119:00 sure it's not necessary. It's not necessary to like add. 119:06 Because like you said, there is no there's no fat on it. So 119:09 there there's you would just be slowing it down, I guess. But 119:13 there was a couple of times I threw in some extra words. And 119:17 he came in and he was just hey, you said, you said, blah, 119:20 blah, blah, blah. I like that. That was good. That 119:22 move, like do that again. And it was just like, I kind of, you 119:26 know, then you got to remember what you did or whatever. 119:28 But that ruins it for me. I wish I wish it was more. Hey,
