McDERMOTT FIRED - #BILLSMAFIA CONFUSED | Sahlen's Off Tackle Show

On this episode of Sahlen’s Off Tackle with John Fina, the unthinkable finally becomes reality in Buffalo: Sean McDermott is out as head coach of the Bills. The guys speculate how the organization reached this crossroads, examining the steady erosion of trust between results and expectations, postseason shortcomings, and whether the team ultimately plateaued under McDermott’s leadership. The conversation dives into McDermott’s legacy, the culture change, the consistency, and the respect he earned while also confronting the hard truth that “good” was no longer good enough for a roster built to win now. The show also looks ahead: what this move signals about the Bills’ championship window, what traits the next head coach must have to maximize Josh Allen, and whether this marks a philosophical shift toward offense, aggression, and urgency from the top of the organization. It’s an honest, emotional, and no-nonsense breakdown of a franchise-defining decision — and what comes next for the Buffalo Bills. #BILLS #BillsMafia #BuffaloBills #BillsNation #BillsNews #JoshAllen #dailynews
