CUT DOWN DAY - The Path to 53 | Overreaction Buffalo Sports Show

On this episode of the Overreaction Buffalo Sports Show, the guys dive into Brandon Beane and Joe Brady’s initial 53-man roster as the Buffalo Bills make the difficult decisions that will shape the 2026 season. Buffalo entered the weekend needing to trim its 91-man summer roster to the NFL-mandated 53, with Beane working the phones and making moves right up against the deadline. Who earned their way onto the roster? Who was the biggest surprise cut? Which training-camp battles came down to the wire? And is Beane really finished, or could another trade, waiver claim or free-agent addition shake up the roster before Week 1? The guys break down the winners and losers of Bills training camp, the biggest questions at wide receiver, offensive line, defensive line and secondary, and what the final roster tells us about the vision Joe Brady has for his first season as Buffalo's head coach. With players such as Mecole Hardman and punter Mitch Wishnowsky among the reported cuts and Beane trading center Sedrick Van Pran-Granger to Indianapolis, Buffalo's roster was still moving as the deadline approached.
