BUFFALO BLLS FIRST LOOK - WEEK 1 - HOUSTON TEXANS | Seven Days 2 Sunday

The guys at Seven Days 2 Sunday kick off their 2026 season previews with a deep first look at the Buffalo Bills’ Week 1 showdown against the Houston Texans. Jerry and Zig break down why this matchup is far tougher than a typical season opener, with Houston bringing one of the league’s fastest-rising young rosters into a hostile environment against Josh Allen and the Bills. The episode dives into the Texans’ explosive offense led by C.J. Stroud, the challenges posed by Houston’s pass rush, and how Buffalo’s revamped defensive front could be the key to slowing the Texans down. Jerry highlights the importance of containing big plays early in the season, while Zig explains why the Bills offense may need to lean on balance and physicality instead of turning the game into a shootout. They also discuss the biggest Week 1 storylines, including new faces on the Bills roster, how Buffalo’s coaching staff may attack Houston schematically, and which positional matchups could ultimately decide the opener. The guys debate whether this game could preview a future AFC playoff battle and give their early predictions for how the Bills can start the season 1-0. #BILLS #BillsMafia #BuffaloBills #BillsNation #BillsNews #JoshAllen #dailynews
