The Radio Diary of Limerick's 2026 All-Ireland SHC Final win

Tommy Rooney takes you inside Croke Park for a “diary of an All-Ireland Hurling Final day” — from the quiet hum of Level 7 before the gates fill, to the roar when the sliotar is thrown in.

Along the way there are brilliant chats from the press box and the tunnel: Keys & Fogarty on the build-up, Cárthach Bán Breathnach on nerves and commentary, the O’Connor brothers on hurling “DNA”, and Galway/Limerick voices calling it their own way

Then it’s match day: Limerick turn the screw, Kyle Hayes takes over, and Cian Lynch leads them to Liam McCarthy again — capped by a priceless Paul Kinnerk moment you have to hear.
