Why the Browns might make the decision to start Deshaun Watson over Shedeur Sanders

The Browns held their first open practice of OTAs on Wednesday, and one thing was clear: Deshaun Watson is the current leader in the quarterback competition between him and Shedeur Sanders. Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe broke down what they watched during Wednesday’s practice on the Orange and Brown Talk podcast. They start with Watson vs. Sanders and why they think it’s clear Watson has the edge in the quarterback competiton. They also discuss why head coach Todd Monken and the Browns would make the controversial decision to start Watson. Then they talk about the return of Quinshon Judkins and how he looked before they discuss a few of the players who weren’t in attendance at the voluntary session.
