Why Denzel Ward's return matters so much to the Browns secondary

Browns cornerback Denzel Ward returned to practice on Wednesday, one of the final steps for him clearing the concussion protocol and another hurdle removed ahead of the Week 1 opener against the Cowboys. Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe discuss the importance of Ward to the secondary and the defense on Wednesday’s Orange and Brown Talk podcast. First, they set up the rest of the week and discuss the anticipation for real football returning and what they’re looking forward to this season. They also discuss the Browns practice squad and why it was important to bring back some core special teamers as well as why one player was left off.
