What the Browns see in Tommy Rees + Jim Schwartz interviews for the head coaching job

The Browns' head coaching search is in full swing, and on this episode of the Orange and Brown Talk podcast, Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe dive into the early candidates. They start by discussing the two in-house coordinators set to interview: Jim Schwartz and Tommy Rees. Could the 33-year-old Rees be the next Sean McVay, or is the risk too high? Would hiring Schwartz be a popular move that keeps the successful defense intact? The crew also looks at Bengals QB coach Dan Pitcher and his history with Andrew Berry. Then, Lance Reisland joins the show to break down the film from the season finale against the Bengals, focusing on Shedeur Sanders' performance. Lance also weighs in on the coaching search, offering his high praise for Ravens OC Todd Monken and sharing his thoughts on the Browns possibly hiring Schwartz or Rees. To wrap up, Dan and Lance draft their biggest storylines from the 2025 NFL season, discussing everything from the rise of defenses and the analytics vs. feel debate to the importance of figuring it out at quarterback and the league's persistent injury problem.
