EMERGENCY PODCAST: The Browns trade Baker Mayfield to Carolina

The Browns finally traded Baker Mayfield. He is going to Carolina in exchange for a conditional draft pick and the Browns will pay $10.5 million of his 2022 salary. It officially ends a four-year run for Mayfield as the team's starting quarterback and allows the Browns to move on to navigating a potential Deshaun Watson suspension. Mary Kay Cabot, Doug Lesmerises, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe hopped on Zoom after the news of the trade broke and recorded an emergency podcast. What do we think of the deal itself? Where will Mayfield be in five years? What did John Dorsey get wrong in his evaluation of Mayfield? They break it all down in this emergency podcast. Want to get involved in Football Insider?
