Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a setback in his recovery from his ruptured Achilles and, regardless of what the team’s plans were for him before this, it feels like this is a significant moment in his future with the team. Mary Kay Cabot, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe start Monday’s edition of the Orange and Brown Talk podcast by discussing Watson’s future following this revelation from GM Andrew Berry’s end-of-season press conference. Does this change anything for the Browns moving forward? What will happen with Watson now? Then they get into what Berry said about running back Nick Chubb and if it’s possible he might not be back next season. Is there a price and a role for him that could keep him in a Browns uniform? Lastly, they talk Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and the mystery surrounding his status for next season. Want to become a Football Insider subscriber? Get more info here.
