Artie Lange Asked Mike Bocchetti to Swallow Heroin and We Have the Tape |Best Last Year Radio

Opie, Artie Lange (Howard Stern), and Rob Bartlett (Imus) in the same studio — three legendary radio worlds colliding for one last unhinged hour. Sports rants, hockey stories that should never be told on air, and then Mike Bocchetti calls in. That’s when Artie plays the tape of the time he tried to talk him into swallowing heroin pellets, flying to Montreal, and pooping them out so Artie wouldn’t go into withdrawal. It was a prank. Bocchetti still said yes. This is the last year of commercial radio at its most illegal-sounding.
