[BONUS EP] #124 Mummies

We're on our annual two-week summer break, but don't worry! Please enjoy these subscriber episodes from last summer while we're away!

From July 2025, this is..

#124 Mummies

Tom has extensively researched the process by which the ancient Egyptians prepared their mummies for the afterlife and - I’m sure you won’t be surprised by this - it’s not my idea of a spa day.

Elsewhere, is it acceptable to be eating cheese at 12pm? We also uncover the most baffling items in the West Ham shop…..condoms, yes condoms. Plus a whinge about shops shutting on Sundays, early morning booze bans and how the country has clearly lost the plot.

The Ancient Egyptians believed you needed your heart, mud filled organs and a decent track record to get into the afterlife; made someone cry once and now no afterlife? Has the game gone?
