Bear Locks Itself in Car and Shreds Interior

A curious bear found itself locked inside a car in Alaska just after midnight Monday.

Police in Juneau responded and used a rope to pull open the driver's side door from a safe distance.

The bear quickly wandered away, revealing the damage it had left behind. It had torn apart the car's interior, shredding the seats and door panels.

Despite the damage, the vehicle's owners said it "drove great" as they dropped it off for disposal.
