The Lord of the Rings, Book 6 Chapter 3: Mount Doom

Hello and welcome to the NotACast, the one true chapter-by-chapter podcast going through A Song of Ice and Fire...but not this episode! Since we're taking a month off from our Lord of the Rings coverage for patrons, this week we're making our latest LOTR episode available for everyone. In this episode, Emmett breaks down the climax of the story, in which Frodo, Sam, and Gollum struggle over the One Ring on the literal precipice of doom. If you like what you hear, there are dozens of LOTR episodes available for our $5+ patrons over on our Patreon! Next time: ASOS Samwell III, in which Sam and Gilly reach the village of Whitetree...or is it? No, probably not. Sam just can't catch a break.
