Episode 43: A GAME OF THRONES, EDDARD XI: "Fifty Shades of Truth"

Hello and welcome back to the NotACast, the one true chapter-by-chapter podcast going through A Song of Ice and Fire one chapter a week! Today, Emmett and Jeff breakdown AGOT, Eddard XI, in which Ned Stark sits high atop the uncomfortable Iron Throne and does a bit of northern justice south of the Neck. But was this the smart play? So much to talk about … This week, we talk about: - Loras and Renly's relationship - What's the future for Fire and Blood, Volume Two - The Red Keep: a bloody history - Tywin's real plan for the Riverlands - Ned: smart in his plan for Tywin - Ned: maybe not as smart to send his men away - Ned: actually, he's smart guys. Deal with it. Next week: AGOT, Sansa III!
