Episode 174: A STORM OF SWORDS, BRAN I & II: ”Once Upon A Time”

Hello and welcome to the NotACast, the one true chapter-by-chapter podcast going through A Song of Ice and Fire one chapter a week! In this episode, GRRM indulges in Tolkien pastiche before transitioning to the most famous in-universe story in the books: The Knight of the Laughing Tree! This week, we: - Announce our next patreon episode on the 2003 Battlestar Galactica: Miniseries - Look into the woods with Bran and Summer. - Talk about Bran in the context of the hero's journey and what that means for such a young kid - Love the crap out of the scene with the Liddle Man - Go deep into the Knight of the Laughing Tree story and who the knight might be (Quaithe? No.) Next week: Davos is down in the dungeons and gets a roommate in a whacky buddy comedy.
