New Season, Same Old Problems
#564. Ten Hag begins with a defeat. It was predictably awful from United for much of this game. The club has spent the summer avoiding central midfielders like they’re the plague and it showed, with Scott “Eight Completed Passes” and Fred giving ample evidence of that in the first half. Not that anybody bar the owners thinks McFred is a sustainable option. There is so much work to be done. But the game is almost secondary to the negligence the club has shown this summer. 18 players out, three in. Avram Glazer was in the stands having a good laugh at it all. That’s not Ten Hag’s fault, but he’ll pay a price for being left short of more than a few players. Ed & Dan discuss. ** No Question About That is listener supported.
