The Schrager Hour with Kevin O'Connell

Peter starts the podcast with praise for Sean Payton and his Broncos for an epic win in Philadelphia, as well as some behind the scenes on how Payton handled both the week and the victory celebration afterwards. Peter gives out his NFL and Sports Media Winners of the Week and, then, brings on Vikings HC Kevin O'Connell. Fresh off a gutsy win over Cleveland and a two week European adventure, "KOC" takes us into his recruitment and respect for Carson Wentz, the impact his playing days have had on his coaching career, and some love for a few of the many, many, many quarterbacks he has worked with. O'Connell, then, talks philosophy, why his personal football journey makes him so equipped to coach QBS, and the mentors he looked at and looks to across the league. Lastly, they go into O'Connell's short but sweet broadcasting career and what could have been had he stayed in the booth behind the microphone. Learn more about your ad choices.
