The New Orleans restaurant industry is the most supportive, community-driven industry in the city

For the first time, the Michelin Guide awarded Michelin stars to New Orleans restaurants. The honorees include Emeril's (on Tchoupitoulas), which received two stars, while Saint-Germain (on St. Claude) and Zasu (on Carrollton) each earned one star. In addition, nearly a dozen restaurants and hotels in New Orleans received a Bib Gourmand for their excellence in dining and customer service. They include Acamaya, Cochon, Cochon Butcher, Domilise’s Po-Boy & Bar, Dooky Chase, Hungry Eyes, Lufu NOLA, Mister Mao, Parkway Bakery & Tavern, Saba, and Turkey and the Wolf. Alice Glenn, Executive Vice President of New Orleans & Company, Justin Kennedy, General Manager of Parkway Bakery & Tavern, and E.J. Lagasse, Head Chef at Emeril's, talk about these achievements.
