Millage that protects West Bank homes and businesses is up for renewal

The Flood Authority protects 80 miles of West Bank homes and businesses, $41 billion in property, and 250,000 people through 67 floodgates, 35 drainage valves, and three closure complexes. As we approach the millage renewal, it’s important for residents to understand how their funds protect so many vital operations, from major maintenance and levee lifts to new projects that strengthen our levees and ensure continued protection during storms.
