Rooted Discussions - Pollinator Week Master-Class

Welcome to Rooted Discussions, our roundtable conversations featuring top minds in the field of the topic at hand. On this episode, hosts Fran Chismar and Tom Knezick are joined by Sam Droege (Wildlife Biologist, USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center) from The Native Bee Inventory and Monitoring Lab, Kelly Gill (Senior Pollinator Conservation Specialist, Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Region) from the Xerces Society, and Marcus Gray (Executive Director) from Sustainable Monarch to discuss everything you need to know for Pollinator Week. Conversations include some of the best ways to celebrate Pollinator Week, where to start when building pollinator habitat, out of the box ways to help our pollinators, chemicals and insects, and the pluses and minuses of legislative action to protect pollinators? Everyone shares a mistake that they have learned from. As an added bonus, the video will be available on the Pinelands Nursery YouTube channel. Music by RJ Comer.
