Flock Cameras: Are We Trading Privacy for Safety? | Cite Your Source

Are Flock Safety cameras keeping us safe, or is AI-powered mass surveillance stripping away our constitutional privacy rights? In this episode of Cite Your Source, Angela Rye investigates how automated license plate readers (ALPR) are tracking drivers across America, the history of government surveillance and COINTELPRO targeting Black communities, and whether public safety justifies a digital surveillance state.

Together we explore who controls our data, unauthorized police searches, racial profiling risks, and whether cities can hold surveillance tech companies accountable.
