Ep. 410 - Anirban Dasgupta

Mumbai-based Anirban Dasgupta is a stand-up comedian and screenwriter with a distinct comedic style. A former corporate salesman, Anirban has performed extensively in India and across the world including the prestigious Just For Laughs in Montreal and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. His first stand-up special Take It Easy was released on Amazon Prime Video to wide acclaim, as was Afsos, the dark comedy series he created, also on Prime. This year he makes his Edinburgh debut with his show Polite Provocation, where he explores three generations of his family back to British India, the birth of his daughter and the immediate question: what world did he bring his child into?.

Anirban Dasgupta is guest number 410 on My Time Capsule and chats to Michael Fenton Stevens about the five things he'd like to put in a time capsule; four he’d like to preserve and one he’d like to bury and never have to think about again .
