The EU's new AI transparency rules are now in effect.

Companies must clearly label AI-generated or AI-manipulated images, videos, audio, and text that appear authentic. The rules aim to combat misinformation, boost transparency, and protect public trust, with fines of up to €15 million or 3% of global annual revenue for non-compliance.
