What the Heck: Episode 66 | Ciryl Gane, Jake Hager, Eric Nicksick & Sarah Alpar

This week on What the Heck, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck speaks to Ciryl Gane (5:15) about facing Derrick Lewis for an interim heavyweight title in the main event of UFC 265 on Aug. 7 and why he doesn't feel bad for former teammate Francis Ngannou. Bellator and AEW's Jake Hager (20:12) officially throws his name in the hat to face Fedor Emelianenko on Oct. 23 and explains why he deserves the shot over anybody else. Francis Ngannou's head coach Eric Nicksick (34:58) gives his thoughts on the UFC going with an interim title fight between Gane and Lewis at UFC 265 and what that could mean for the current heavyweight champion. Finally, Sarah Alpar (56:08) talks starting a GoFundMe as a UFC fighter, Jake Paul making a donation, and her upcoming bout on Sept. 4 against Erin Blanchfield.
