On To The Next One: Matches To Make After Noche UFC

Diego Lopes isn’t stepping out of the championship contender picture just yet. With a resounding win over Jean Silva in Saturday’s Noche UFC main event, Lopes kept himself in line for another shot at the featherweight title he fell short of capturing this past April. But just how much closer is he to going another five rounds with Alexander Volkanovski? On an all-new edition of On To the Next One, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck and Alexander K. Lee discuss what's next for Lopes as he looks to further separate himself from a crowded 145-pound pack that includes rivals Movsar Evloev and Yair Rodriguez, and former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling. Additionally, future matchups are discussed for the fast-rising David Martinez, surging lightweights Alexander Hernandez and Rafa Garcia, and 21-year-old debutant Santiago Luna. Plus, what to do with Kelvin Gastelum after another weight miss debacle, and listener picks to close out the show. Follow Mike Heck: @m_heckjr Follow Alexander K.
