No Bets Barred: Can Umar Nurmagomedov Reclaim His Aura Against Son Yadong At UFC Shanghai?

Umar Nurmagomedov is still in the bantamweight mix, but it feels like he’s lost some of his luster.

On Saturday, Nurmagomedov looks to make it three in a row since losing his bantamweight title shot to Merab Dvalishvili, taking on Song Yadong in the main event of UFC Shanghai. It’s an opportunity for Nurmagomedov to earn a title shot and perhaps reclaim some of the aura that seems to have disappeared over the past year, but will he make a statement, or will Nurmagomedov continue to underwhelm?

On the latest episode of No Bets Barred, host Jed Meshew flies solo as he dives into the full UFC Shanghai card. Topics discussed include whether or not Nurmagomedov will get his groove back, if Denise Gomes can keep her upset streak rolling, Kai Asakura’s move to bantamweight, a pair of parlays, the latest on The Climb, and more.

Tune in for episode 163 of No Bets Barred.
