Vikings Postgame Report: New Look Vikings Top Green Bay 23-7 In Season Debut - Week 1

Welcome back to the Week 1 version of the 2022 Vikings Postgame Report. The Vikings debuted a new look squad at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon and delivered Coach Kevin O'Connell's first win as head coach. Justin Jefferson had another stellar game finishing with 9 receptions, 184 receiving yards and 2 receiving touchdowns. Quarterback Kirk Cousins kept the Offense humming throwing for 23 of 32, 277 passing yards and 2 passing touchdowns. The Defense also asserted their will, making the day extremely uncomfortable for Aaron Rodgers. It started upfront with Za'Darius Smith, but the team's Defense finished with 4 sacks, 1 interception, 3 pass deflections, and a fumble recovery. Paul Allen and Pete Bercich break down what went right in today's game, JJ's schematic advantage, and why Za'Darius' play will be infectious when he and his teammates break down the film. Coach O'Connell went to the podium postgame and addressed the successes they saw on Offense, the key defensive preparation during game week and why this victory week 1 versus Green Bay meant so much to the players. All of this and more is in the Week 1 edition of the Vikings Postgame Report.
