Scorpio Weighs Gold Wedge Underground Restart After Higher Grade Drilling
Scorpio Gold CEO Zayn Kalyan joins Ian Wagner to discuss new drilling at the Manhattan project and a possible restart of the permitted Gold Wedge underground operation. A recent hole returned 36.4 meters grading 2.94 grams per ton gold. Kalyan says diamond drilling has shown higher grades than earlier reverse circulation results in parts of the existing resource. The company is reviewing the underground model, mill rehabilitation, dewatering needs, and financing options before outlining an economic study. Exploration continues at April Fool, while Scorpio expects to add a second diamond drill at Keystone Jumbo after permits arrive. Tailings work continues.
