Subway Series Recap, Zac Thornton a Dog, Pete Alonso Back Monday | 616

The Met lost the series, but it was an exciting Subway Series. Yankee Stadium was charged up on Friday night honoring the 25th anniversary of 9/11 and it felt special that these teams were playing each other. Otherwise, Zac Thornton and Christian Scott pitched well, Nolan McLean did not, Juan Soto had another weird series in the Bronx, Francisco Lindor crushed it, and Carson Benge keeps getting better. A lot to talk about plus Pete Alonso's homecoming this week and details about Mets'd Up Rotisserie Chicken Night this coming Tuesday.
