We let go of the old, So we can make space for this brand new day. So come inside, And settle in. Come into this moment, Honoring the sunrise, Showing up to the new day. PAUSE… To open up space, We must let go of the old. So let each inhale search inside, And gather up those thoughts, Those memories from yesterday, All those unfinished tasks, And any emotions that are there. PAUSE… Gather them up, One by one, And as you breathe out, Let them go. LONG PAUSE… Release each one, Old stories, Old thoughts, Old ways of seeing the world, So you can come here, Open, Free, And fresh. LONG PAUSE… Feel your body melt deeper, As it has less weight to hold. PAUSE… Feel the spaciousness in your mind, Fertile, and ready for the new. PAUSE… Feel the lightness in your heart, As you are here, Ready for the sunrise of a new day.
