8: The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks

SEASON FINALE! This week's NYT bestseller: The Notebook. This 1996 novel made it onto the NYT bestseller list the first week it was released and stayed there for over a year. Mean Book Club is four ladies (from UCB-NY, BuzzFeed, College Humor, Impractical Jokers) who read, discuss and whine about NYT bestselling books that have questionable literary merit. It's fun. It's cathartic. It's perfect for your commute. New podcast every Tuesday!

We're taking a break between our second and third season, but if you want to get a head start, we can tell you the first two books for Season 3 will be:

* Carnal Innocence by Nora Roberts

* Elixir by Hilary Duff
