Why do we get sick in winter

Why do we get sick in winter, or have you ever asked your Doctor. “WHY did I get sick?” Do we ever ask for a reason so we can prevent the sickness from coming back or getting it again? What about prevention? Does your Doctor get excited for you to be healthy for a lifetime, prevent this sickness from coming back or keen for you to come back every winter for a shot/pill/medical intervention?
