STUPIDITY…A 50% effort and expect a 100% result…

STUPIDITY…A 50% effort and expect a 100% result… If we quit, give up, put in an average effort, how can we expect to achieve, to succeed, to have a high self-esteem? Is it possible so many people are depressed, anxious, unhappy because they know they CAN and need to put in their 100%, but they are too lazy or choose not to?
