1138 - Is Your Porn Struggle Spiritual, Psychological… or Demonic?

In this episode, Sathya sits down with pastor and author Mike Signorelli to explore purpose, sexual addiction, repentance, and what it really takes to experience lasting freedom. Mike shares his unlikely journey from growing up in a difficult environment to discovering his calling at 15 through a series of powerful encounters with God. The conversation then turns to the growing epidemic of pornography and sexual brokenness, with Mike explaining why overcoming addiction requires more than simply stopping a behavior. He discusses the biological, spiritual, and behavioral sides of addiction, the difference between confession and true biblical repentance, and why genuine freedom often requires painful but necessary changes. Mike also unpacks the relationship between deliverance and discipline, using the biblical examples of Saul and David to explain the importance of repentance and keeping the door closed to destructive patterns. Throughout the conversation, he emphasizes that transformation often involves learning to suffer well, surrendering control, and trusting the Holy Spirit for the strength to walk into a new season of freedom, purpose, and deeper relationship with Christ.
