S11 E23 - F-Bomb - The Mothedigo - The Thing That Waits Above You

Deep in the forests of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, there are places where hunters refuse to go… and stories that refuse to die. In this chilling episode, we explore the legend of the Mothdigo—a terrifying cryptid said to stalk from above, watching, judging, and punishing those who take too much from the wild. Blending elements of the Wendigo and Mothman, the Mothdigo is more than folklore—it’s a warning whispered through generations. From vanished hunters to eerie logging camp disappearances, the stories all point to one truth: something is waiting in the trees. Is it myth… or something far older? Featuring an original cryptid concept from Jezebel Michelle Creations, brought to life through dark storytelling, Michigan folklore, and cinematic narration. If you love cryptids, urban legends, Michigan mysteries, and stories that linger long after the episode ends… this one is for you. #FBombFriday #MaliceInTheMitten #StorytellingPodcast #Mothdigo Hosted and Produced by Tracy Preston, featuring Todd Preston Original music created exclusively for F-Bomb by Tracy Preston Original artwork by Todd Preston Sound effects from Uppbeat: owls-hooting-in-forst-long-felix-blume-1-00-12.mp3 / explosion-land-mine-gamemaster-audio-1-00-02.mp3 / car-engine-rev-epic-stock-media-2-2-00-05.mp3
