MacVoices #20070: CES - Favored Tech Can Make Your Devices Waterproof With No Case

At CES in Las Vegas, we learned about a process that can make your phone or tablet waterproof. Tom Fisher Solutions Engineering Director for Favored Tech , explained how their coating can be applied by original equipment manufacturers, how it can be varied to improve the degree of water protection, and what cost it adds to the device. Seeing a phone running, connected to power and underwater, makes us wonder why every phone doesn't get this treatment.
