True Crime Tuesday - Murder Reveal on Instagram Call - Case of Ash Cooper

In today's True Crime Tuesday, we're dialing into a crime that echoes through the quiet corners of Bensalem Township, Pennsylvania. We delve into the night of November 25, 2022, when a seemingly innocent Netflix binge spiraled into a nightmare. Twelve-year-old Morgan Conners and 18-year-old Ash Cooper's evening takes a horrifying turn, leading to a frantic call to police, a horrifying discovery, and a trail of digital breadcrumbs that would unveil a shocking murder.

We're confronted with the brutal reality of a life cut short and a killer's desperate attempt to enlist aid in concealing their crime. Ash's chilling request to an ex-friend becomes a pivotal moment of truth and a lesson in moral courage.

Then, we pivot to a systemic failure that resulted in tragedy. I share the heart-wrenching story of Laterria Smith and her son, Jayden Perkins, whose lives were forever altered by a parolee's violent rampage—a stark reminder of the dire consequences of oversight.

But that's not all. I open up about the personal toll of producing Love and Murder, inviting you, the listeners, to weigh in on the future of the podcast. It's a candid appeal for your voice in a decision that will shape the heart of this beloved show.
