"She Killed the Kids!" But Was it Mental Health Illness or Murder? | The Lindsay Clancy Case

Patrick Clancy left home to pick up dinner and medication for his daughter after his wife asked him to run a few errands. Less than an hour later, he returned to a home that was eerily silent before making a discovery that would become national news.

As investigators searched for answers, the case quickly became far more complicated than a typical homicide investigation.

Questions surrounding Lindsay Clancy's mental health, months of treatment, psychiatric hospitalizations, medications, and the legal definition of criminal responsibility would divide experts, lawmakers, and the public.

Was this a carefully planned crime... or the devastating result of a mother experiencing a severe mental health crisis?
