Her Husband’s Headless Torso Was Found Near a Waterfall, Then Police Found a Suitcase with Another Body | Evelyn Dick

Five children hiking near Albion Falls in Hamilton, Ontario, thought they had stumbled across the remains of an animal.

Then they got closer.

What they had actually found launched one of Canada’s most sensational murder investigations, a case involving a missing husband, a blood-stained Packard, a wealthy family hiding secrets, contradictory statements, and physical evidence scattered across more than one property.

At the center was 25-year-old Evelyn Dick, whose private life quickly became almost as famous as the crime itself.

But even after multiple trials, a death sentence, an overturned conviction, and decades of speculation, one question has never been definitively answered:

Who killed John Dick?
