Florida Man Friday | Teen Murders Girlfriend's Father After Social Media Dispute | Lawan Jones

In this Florida Man Friday episode of Love and Murder: Heartbreak to Homicide, Ky tells you about the shocking case of Lawan Jones Jr., a young man who turned betrayal into tragedy. On August 19, 2024, a confrontation escalated into violence when Keith Poole, a father who had taken Lawan in after his parents' death, confronted him about inappropriate social media posts. In a moment of rage, Lawan shot Keith multiple times, leaving a family shattered and a community in disbelief.

As Ky recounts the events leading up to the shooting, we explore the complex dynamics of loyalty, gratitude, and the consequences of a moment's anger. With Lawan now facing first-degree murder charges, the episode raises critical questions about the nature of boundaries and respect within a household.

Was this a tragic misstep or a premeditated act of violence? What drove Lawan to such extremes?
