DoorDash Driver Only Witnesses to Shooting in Florida Love Triangle Gone Wrong | Lareine Barbie Cruz

How jealousy, betrayal, and a closed door ended in a courtroom battle.

A knock on the door. A scream. A single gunshot through the wood.

On November 9, 2024, a DoorDash driver stepped off an elevator in a Miami high-rise—right into the middle of a shooting. A woman was banging on an apartment door. Then came the sound of a gun. Seconds later, she was on the ground, bleeding from the neck.

The shooter? Her ex’s new girlfriend. And what led to it? A love triangle, jealousy, and a bullet through a closed door.

This is the case of Lareine Cruz.
