A Cold Case Revisited | A Wife Found with an Axe in Her Head - The Unsolved Case of Jim Krauseneck

A picturesque town becomes the backdrop for a chilling cold case that has haunted Brighton, New York for over four decades. The year is 1982, and a young mother's life is brutally extinguished.

This week on Love and Murder: Heartbreak to Homicide, Ky delves into the case of Cathy and Jim Krausenek—a couple whose seemingly idyllic life was cleaved apart by an axe and a mystery that would sit in the unsolved crimes until a dramatic courtroom showdown 40 years later.

Was it a botched burglary, a desperate cover-up, or the work of a shadowy figure with a vendetta? As Ky unpacks the evidence, from the staged crime scene to the faint shoe print, the circumstantial clues weave a narrative that challenges our perceptions of guilt and innocence.

Join us as we explore the twists and turns of the Krausenek case; will the truth finally see the light of day, or are some secrets destined to remain buried?
