The Chicago White Sox beat the New York Mets to avoid the sweep. The Minnesota Twins are up next. The final score in the series finale with the Mets was 6-2. The Sox are now 16 games under .500 and 9 games back in the division. Sox starter, Michael Kopech, bounced back from a nightmare of an outing last week in Atlanta and went 5+ innings. Kopech still struggled with his command but he kept his composure and did not let the walks hurt him. White Sox scored their six runs without hitting a home run. Elvis Andrus had a triple, Eloy Jimenez had a two hit game in his return and Tim Anderson tacked on a couple more hits. The Sox travel to Minnesota to take on the first place Twins. Lance Lynn heads to the mound for the Sox in the series opener. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors! Dave Download Dave today at Dave.com/mlb . You could get up to $500 in 5 minutes or less!
